I always feel like an idiot when I have to point at something to order it, but the woman taking my order reached out the window to point at the same one so we were on the same page. She was very accommodating to me and I appreciate that. I'm still not entirely sure what I ate, but it was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Prices were pretty decent too. I am full and still get to take some home to my husband. Ambiance is a food truck pod on River Road that I'd never been to before. It is bigger than I expected, with several other nearby trucks that I want to try. Would I return? Yes! Definitely yes. Had been wanting to try Thai Chin Gon (located in the pod in front of Eugene Electric Bicycles) and they are on my way home. A few other people were waiting ahead of me and got their food in good time. Service was friendly and quick. I chose yellow curry with chicken and it arrived in less than 10 minutes. Customers are given a buzzer to notify when the order is ready. There is ample seating available directly in front of the trucks or a few steps away in a covered area that is nicely done. I brought my order home to eat and it was a generous portion that made for two meals. Excellent yellow curry served very hot and delicious. Good amount of chicken ratio to veggies. You can specify how spicy you like your dish. I'll be sure to return to try other options.

This quarantine makes a mama hungry! My daughter and husband also shared strawberry dessert tacos and judging by how quickly they disappeared I'd say they were also of elotes caliber. I have an allergy to strawberries so I can't personally review BUT if they're anywhere near as tasty as their cinnamon apple tacos you won't be disappointed. The pork belly was so tender and perfectly caramelized! The mango/peach salsa made my eyes roll back. The pickled onions gave the perfect acidic touch to the sweetness of the salsa and the savoriness of the pork belly. I loved that each taco was hefty. Each taco had a generous amount of toppings and sauces without overshadowing the protein. It makes you feel healthy while also indulging. It's truly well balanced. Each topping had a purpose. The consomme was ok... very lacking in salt (and since I am on a low sodium diet, I guess that is good? lol! ) Beans and rice were good also. I would order again.

The flavors were absolutely rockin, along with a touch of heat that made every bite a lovely experience. It came with a nice big fluffy roll, perfect for making little bread scoops ,and went really nicely with a cold lager. If you like seafood, this is a must try.
