Ran into Bing King at the Eugene Asian Celebration... and had to try their Sichuan Chicken fries... extra spicy of course. They were delicious (although not very spicy). Also had their bubbly Citron Honey drink, and it was really good, refreshing on a warm day. Service was great... highly recommend eating here if you get the chance. read more

Such a unique and totally delicious option for lunch. We find ourselves craving it often, and it's sure to become a staple for us. We wish it was open longer! The bings are fresh, full of different textures and flavors, and fully customizable to what you're in the mood for. Portions are ample for a lunch, even though it feels so light as you eat it! We like the spam and pork belly as proteins, but look forward to trying others. read more

This is my "go to" food truck/cart in Eugene. It measures up to the best in Portland, where I indulged for 30 years. You can customize your order. There are almost as many possible combinations as there are Oregon football uniforms. I mainly gravitate to the #2 savory, with youtiao, spice level 2-3, with pork belly. It's now about $16, but it's filling enough to contemplate an after-lunch nap during which you may dream of returning. Order ahead during nice weather because this cart has developed a large and loyal fanbase. read more

Finally made it here and I wasn't disappointed. I didn't know where to start so I told them and they walked me through my order. Super helpful. I went with the nanjing jianbing, which they said was their most popular. It starts with a crepe-type outside and egg cooked on that. Then they add lettuce, seaweed, cilantro, green onions, and potato strings. I went with wontons over the fried bread/donut and the savory sauce at a level two spice (since I wanted a little spice). I added pork belly and pickled mustard greens. It was a very good combo. The pork belly was a great addition but I really wanted more pickled mustard greens. Maybe I'll get double next time. I love that it has so many textures and flavors all wrapped in one package. Now I want to go again and try different combinations. They said the latiao is a a vegan protein option that is similar to seitan, which sounds like something I'd like to try. This is one of six trucks parked at 8th and Olive. Five were open for lunch on a Wednesday. Lots of good options and nice picnic tables with umbrellas in the middle. I usually can't get out for lunch on a weekday so I'm so glad I made it over to try them finally. read more

Amazing food and friendly service. Eugene is lucky to have this place. I really enjoyed my jianbing

My husband and I really enjoyed the friendly service and jianbing we received at Bing King. We tried the sweeter sauce with wonton and added pork floss as well as the savory sauce with youtiao and added pork belly. While both were very tasty, I would recommend the first if you're looking for a lighter feeling lunch. We also got the sichuan fries, which were an oversized shareable portion and were quite tasty if you're into the numbing spices. I would probably save this for when you have a group to share with, unless you're very hungry. We went with level 3 spice on these. For me this was the perfect amount of flavor and heat, but if you're not typically into spicy foods then I'd definitely go lower than 3. If you're looking for something new to try swing by this place and grab a picnic table! I'll definitely be returning to try out other addons and options in the future! :) read more

Was in the neighborhood getting Ethiopian next door and decided to pick up an original Jianbing. Didn't really know what it was to be honest. The guy in front of me suggested it. I got it with crispy wontons, pickled greens, and pork belly added. Basically it's a wrap with veggies and crunchy wontons inside. There's is an egg cooked around the wrap. First of all, great service. These guys were closing up and they still made sure to take care of me through my decision making and they made great suggestions. I will 100% be back for more. The Kris Oy wontons and the sweet pork belly really just hit that special spot. There is some heat involved. I ordered a 3 on the scale of 1-5 and it was pretty spicy. I'm a fan of spice though so that's a positive for me! This is definitely light but filling. Not a gut bomb like a "burrito" Customer service 5 stars. Food 5 stars. A little bummer they close at 3. They are also a little pricey if you like all the fixings like me, but definitely worth it! All in all. Super tasty and satisfying! read more

No ambiance because it's a food truck, but good service. The food is a crepe mixed with egg, crunchy wontons crushed up, lettuce, green onion and cilantro. I think in the future, for me at least, it's going to need something more to give it more of a boost. It's good, don't get me wrong, but it felt like it was missing something for me. It's still good quality-but just know what to expect. read more

Bing King - The #1 with wontons and half/half sweet and savory sauce - Food Trucks Near Me - Eugene, Oregon

I recently tried Bing King. As someone with little experience with food trucks, I was delighted to discover this gem in Eugene. I ordered the Nanjing-style Jianbing with crispy fried wonton, pork belly, and savory house bean paste, and the delicious flavors and textures blew me away. The crispy wontons added a wonderful crunch to the already crispy Jianbing, while the pork belly was succulent and savory. The house bean paste tied everything together with its rich and flavorful taste. The Jianbing tortillas were also fresh and delicious. I chose spice level 2. I would not have fared well with a higher spice level, but level 2 added just enough kick without overpowering the other flavors). Aside from the food, I appreciated the help I received from the truck staff. They were friendly and patient and helped me navigate the menu to find an order precisely to my liking. It was also quick! I highly recommend Bing King if you want original and mouthwatering food. read more

Bing King - Food Trucks Near Me - Eugene, Oregon

The best wraps in Eugene. This place has great food and great customer service. My favorite place to go for a quick bite!!

I skipped breakfast and went right for lunch fortunately I chose well. This crazy beautiful thing might be one of the funnest and most flavorful items I have eaten in a while. I chose the original and then I chose to let the guy working make a suggestion on the fillings. He did not steer me wrong. I got the wonton, savory, with spam and greens. Also with just the right amount of spice. It was perfect. There was crunch, crisp, salty, soft, savory. It had everything you would want for both breakfast and lunch. Needless to say I am a fan and can't wait to devour this when I skip breakfast and head straight to lunch again sometime soon read more

Bing King - The original, savory, spam, greens, and a little bit of spice - Food Trucks Near Me - Eugene, Oregon

Hands down my favorite food truck in Eugene. I recommend this food truck to everyone who visits Eugene, or to those who are from the area, and it never disappoints. I like to order the Nanjing Jianbing for lunch since it's inexpensive compared to other food trucks I've been to, and I always have left overs since the Jian Bing is so big. Great food and staff! read more

My week is not complete without one of these unique delicious, fresh and spicy, crunchy, savory, egg crepe burrito things. They are so F'ing good. Pondering a trip to China just to see how they compare. I bow down to the King of Bing! read more

Bing King is located in a small parking lot with several other food trucks. Major props to them for staying open during this difficult COVID period. I arrived on a weekday as soon as they opened at 11am and they were still getting set up. I was the second person to order and the food took about 20 minutes to be ready. The Food I've wanted to try jianbing (basically a Chinese street food breakfast crepe) for SO long. Bing King definitely set the bar high with their tasty creation. I ordered the Original ($8) with savory bean paste, all the mix-ins, youtiao (Chinese fried dough), and added pork floss (+$1) with a spice level of 3/5. Everything went together very well. The crepe was thin and crisp, but still retained a nice chew. The greens provided freshness that prevented the jianbing from feeling too oily from the youtiao. Perfect heat level. I have no idea what they used to add spice, but whatever it was, it was fire. I would highly suggest trying this very underrated street food beauty if you ever get the chance. I'm already scoping out where I can get my next one since I was just visiting the area. read more

Bing King - Old Street Original Jianbing w/ Youtiao [$8] (add pork floss) [+$1] - Food Trucks Near Me - Eugene, Oregon

Great food, fresh and tasty. I could do without seeing the employee's coke fingernail.

Many years ago we tried Bing King at the Food Truck Festival at the fair grounds and LOVED them. But since then they were hard to find for a couple years, and then not open when we did. So I was ecstatic to see them at the Asian Celebration this year (2022), even with a limited menu for the occasion. We ordered the Juanbing one with chicken, one with pork, and the Sichuan potato fries. Everything was delicious - not how we remembered it from 5-6 years ago (different menu item though). The potato fries were kinda mushy, not crispy but so flavorful that I didn't mind. I definitely preferred the crispy chicken but the pork was really flavorful. If you're able to find them (I think they have a permanent location now) and open (they cater to the business lunch crowd) - definitely give them a try! read more

Wow. The Nanjing Jianbing was sooooo good!!! Mmmmmm I got it with crispy Wonton and both sweet And savory sauce at a level 3 spicy. So so good. Not too sweet, not too salty; the perfect amount of spice for me (slightly hotter than Thai medium), filling, fresh, crunchy, soft, warm, veggie-rich, protein-rich, and just downright delicious! I am 100% going to try to make a Bing at home because it was pretty unique (to my palate) and I just overall loved it. read more

As a hungry regular of this establishment, this one meal has become a staple in my life. I only ever order the nanjing style jianbing and it's always prepared and tastes the same. This consistency of flavor coincides the consist friendly atmosphere with the staff. I first tried this after my roommate let me have a bite, and I came through to see what she ordered. I explained the experience and they knew exactly what I was here for. I'm not typically an egg lover, but my god the weekly craving of this never stops. Bing King knows wtf is up read more

Always eat bing. Get the youtiao and some spam or a hot dog. The spice is real though, so don't bite off more than you can chew. I find that I get a craving for Bing King occasionally, and nothing else will do. But even if you start getting jianbing regularly, there will still be enough to go around, so I'm not worried. read more

I am not actually sure why I haven't every given Bing King a review Jackson is honestly such a standup guy & the food is awesome. It is something unique, I am not exactly sure if it's fusion Asian or Asian food from northern China as I have been to Southeast China before. I am never disappointed when I eat here. They even support my business which is also pretty amazing!!! I plan to take my family here when they come visit. I get some crazy spicy food and I will tell you it is pretty spicy if you ask for it and coming from So Cal I definitely like spicy, thanks again guys and I plan to see you soon. First visit was at their small grey trailer outfitted into a kitchen with a white-frame house-like window for order. To the right was a black glossy map of China with a few select areas highlighted. Dotted lines lead to items on the menu: Szechuan chicken fries and a few types of jianbing. For those that don't know what a jianbing is - to put it very crudely - is like a Chinese burrito/wrap/crepe. Now, to my massive mistake, I had no idea what it was and passed it up on the first run; opting for the chicken fries instead. The fries were quite good after a bit of a wait. Tender, crispy chicken fries covered in a variety of spices including the famous Szechuan pepper - which produces a fascinating numbing sensation instead of intense heat. It was plentiful, it was spicy, it was numbing, it was tasty. But boy, did I miss out on their main attraction, but luckily I remedied that situation. The second visit was at their bright red shipping container converted into a mobile food monolith. I ordered the Tianjin Jianbing: "Tianjin style jianbing with extra layers of crispy fried wonton. Your choice of sweet or savory sauce, house sweet bean paste, one egg cilantro and green onions." What came was a wonderful, plentiful, crispy, slightly sweet, slightly savory, spicy, bright, refreshing wrap. Oh and I specifically got the fried wonton, sweet sauce, and added chicken. Every bright was simply delicious. Oh and the service is friendly. It truly is a unique offering to be had in Eugene and it should not be missed by anyone despite a good wait when there is a line. read more

I saw this place had a unique item that I have never tried but have seen many videos online of bing. My wife and I wanted to give it a try. We both shared a savory mung crepe bing with a crispy wonton and asked for medium heat. The staff was great explaining what a bing was and options. The price was to me a bit high for what you get. $7+ for not so big portion. They cut it in half and my wife and I each took a half. The medium spice was a bit difficult for me, but the wife had no problems. The taste was good and the crispy wontons was a great addition to texture Overall, I was happy with what I got and will most likely visit again! read more

Awesome food truck in downtown Eugene! Food is all very good and a great heat to it if you like spicy! Highly recommend!

Unique and fantastic find! Absolutely delicious! And I don't have a picture of my food because I ate it too fast!

I have been wanting to try this cart for quite some time. My guy beat me to it. He had been raving about this cart that I need to try, he described it as a Chinese burrito, that was so bomb he was eating it a few days in a row. His office also orders in for the whole office once in a while. He took me here for lunch a few weeks ago, I can see what the hype is all about. Real Chinese street food. From what I hear the owner spent some time in China, so he really knows his stuff about the Chinese street food culture. I am not sure which one my guy ordered for me, I can tell you it was delicious. They are made up with an outside of what seems an egg crepe. The insides were pork belly I think. So crispy, and delicious. The bean sauce reminded me of what you get when you order Mu Shu pork or something. The egg crepe also reminded me of my families home cooking. They used to make something similar to put on top of the food. "Indonesian" that is. Not saying that is what this is. Just reminded me of it. Now we also decided to order some of the chicken fries. Wow! Just wow! A whole flavor explosion in your mouth. Salty, sweet, spicy. Epic! The chicken fries come with a aïoli sauce that they specially make for the fries. I highly recommend stopping by this cart if you have not already done so. Sorry I didn't take any pictures of my food this time. I was too hungry, and just started eating. Once I popped, I couldn't stop. The flavors were just too good. Now I understand why my guy always craves this place, as now since writing my review it sounds good! read more

I was a first-time customer and ordered a base jian bing plus bbq pork and thought it was REALLY tasty. Overall, a great balance of textures, too. I plan to return soon. Note: When they say spicy, they mean spicy! #mylipsareonfire Base price of $6 is very reasonable, but add-ons seem a bit overpriced and will run up the price quickly. It did take a few minutes to get my order (and my guess is it might feel pretty slow if there are a few people in front of you), but honestly that's to be expected since they cook to order. read more

Try this!! Easy to pass if you don't know what it is, ask for pictures. I've had all of the bings and they are all my favorites. Today was Nanjing with youtiao and Spam. I love spicy, and their 5 star is all that. Options include sweet paste or savory - I prefer the savory. Fried wonton or youtiao - I like them both - different textures. Wontons are crisp and crunchy, youtiao is robust and chewy. Add-ons are not needed, but can enhance the deliciousness. read more

What a major treat for Eugene! We happened to be at Cold Fire when the cart was out front. I ordered for myself, husband and two kids. We were all absolutely thrilled with the layers of flavor and crunch. We ordered #2, #3, #4 and their version of chicken strips (for the pickier kid). They were out of pork options, so we did the chicken and the bacon add-ons. I think I'm going to say this is our new favorite cart in town! I wish I would have taken photos. read more
