We were really happy to stumble onto this Thai food truck while out on River Rd today. The food is phenomenal, best Kee Mao / Drunken Noodles in Eugene, by a lot. Super friendly staff/cook and great prices. There's tons of seating in a covered tent or at outdoor tables, but it also looks like they do takeout/Doordash orders. I was very appreciative of the reviews on here, because I had never been here, and I was ordering through Uber Eats. I am a Thai food junkie, and very picky, so it is hard to steer away from some of my favorite places. They were not available for delivery in my area, so I decided to go ahead, and give this place a try based on the solid reviews, and great pictures. I went with the peanut curry, and a medium spice drunken noodle ( kee mo). I asked for no egg, and no sprouts, and it was made perfectly. The spice was also perfect. The peanut curry was also delicious, a little on the sweeter side, which I do like, but I know many do not. It was perfect for my peanut sauce loving side. Would love to try the phad Thai with their peanut sauce. I bet it is amazing. That is usually my go to when trying a new to me Thai place. Sorry no pics, I wasn't feeling the best, and too hungry. Saw the good reviews & figured their Pad Thai (a basic classic) would be a no brainer & super good. But i couldn't even finish it! It's way too simple & gross. $15 for a box of noodles with the smallest amount of chicken & barely any egg, 2 or 3 small pieces of green onion, barely any peanuts, & zero shaved carrots, & the sauce tasted sweet, bland, & bottled. $15 is offensive for this. Which is why I'm leaving a bad review. Yall really need to revisit this classic dish & make it better. This was so disappointing that it's turned me off from this place. read more

I stopped by Back Alley Food Cart Corral for lunch, and decided to visit Thai Chin Gon for some takeout for dinner, yesterday. I ordered a container of Tom Kha Gai (Chicken Coconut Curry Soup), and they made it fresh right there. Came with a nice portion of Jasmin Rice also. Got home and put it in the fridge for later. Around dinnertime, I heated it up slowly in a pan... and nuked the rice after adding a little bit of water to it. The soup was very good (no heat at all, as I did not ask for it.. but the proprietor did ask if I needed chili oil. But I have Nam Prik Pao at home - Thai chili oil - I used a teaspoon of the Nam Prik Pao to add a nice level of spice to the soup.) Nice sweet sour flavor in the coconut milk both, decent amount of chicken, onion, etc. Rice was good also. I suspect he may have used a pre-made curry paste for the soup broth, as there was no galangal or lemongrass in the soup, although the flavor was there. Still good! I would definitely order it again. And I look forward to trying some of the other dishes here. read more

I don't ever eat at food trucks because I worry about the cleanliness-- I took a chance on this one and I was so impressed. The lady cooking had great hygiene was friendly. The stand was clean. There are several tables to eat at. They were all clean. I had vegetable pad Thai it was fresh and flavorful. The portion was very generous for the price. I got lunch from this place delivered last week and it was absolutely delicious. I've tried a few different Thai restaurants in the area and this one is near the top of the list. I got the Pad See Ew, mild, and my partner got the Drunken Noodles, Thai hot. My food was amazing and I wouldn't change a thing about it. My partner said the spice level on his was a little too high only because it was preventing him from being able to taste the full flavor of the food. He said next time he wants to order it hot and not Thai hot, but that he definitely wants there to be a next time. read more

I always forget to take photos of the food I get from here but it's always delicious! Decent portions, very flavorful, and good spice levels. I've gotten them delivered through DoorDash a couple times with no issues. Spring rolls are delicious, I've tried a couple of their curries (YUM), and my partner loves their pineapple fried rice. The service is amazing! Jorge is quite funny and communicative with everyone! The space is quite inviting with comfortable seating. Theres music playing as well. The food tastes great, freshly made. Not pictured, I also ordered Thai fried rice and asked for it to be specifically made without certain veggies.
