Great little find! Really clean nail place with cute modern decor. I love the ceiling tiles down the middle. I walked in on a Thursday without an appointment and was helped immediately. I got no attitude for not having an appointment, they seemed happy to have me. Kevin helped me to a chair and Tina was my nail tech. The massage chairs line the left wall and the manicure bar is on the right. There are two large screen TV's with closed captioning playing HGTV and the Food Network for your enjoyment. They used a plastic liner for the footbath which was awesome- I've never seen this before and it made me feel good about the cleanliness. I'm fairly picky about this! The nail polishes are so neatly lined up, I don't think I've ever seen a place so organized. They even have their pedicure sets organized in plastic storage kits. They don't seem to spare expense for a neat, orderly place. It also implies they likely don't skimp on cleanliness either. Even the magazine table was neat. Tina was very attentive to my massage chair and its settings. She hung my purse on a hook on the wall (I had set it on the floor). She kept adjusting my chair for me which was nice. She did a great job. I would use her again! My pedicure was excellent, on of the best I've had. No mishaps here. I chose one of the $45 pedicures, a moisturizing one for my winter dryness. I went to get my nails done at this location because they are one of the few in town that offers the bio sculpting technique. Lian did my nails, she is very professional and makes sure you are comfortable. She mastered my nail shape and length. The only issue I has with my nails were that they began to break as soon as I left the shop. I had to come back so that Kristin (the other bio sculpturing tech) could fix my nails. I had to return TWICE for two different nails. The initial set was just not durable at all. I will still go back to this place seeing that bio sculpture techs are limited in the Dallas area. read more

So this place is very clean and organized but if you want a salon that will do a good job but cut corners then this your place. I got a regular gel manicure and pedicure and they skipped out on the massages and lotion. I had to keep mentioning to them if they can trim and file my nails. I felt like every time I would ask something they would then start talking in their language which didn't make me feel comfortable because they would do it every time I pointed out they are forgetting to do the basics. I am not picky but if I am paying $120 for a manicure and pedicure I would expect the basics. Worst gel manicure I have ever gotten. All of my nails are a different length and shape. And it's only been a couple of days and several of my nails have broken and the color is coming off. My manicurist was Evan and I would not recommend. My companion's acrylic fill from Henry was decent though. We also got pedicures, mine chipped(?!?!) and hers smudged (after 3 hours) the same day!!! This salon is a breath of fresh air. Very modern and clean, Super cute, and English speaking. They even use modern software and rewards program. They have the biggest selection of polish, Nexgen, etc, that I've seen anywhere. I've seen several technicians here for my acrylic French and have been happy with all. First off, it's actual coffee but not coffee grounds which was a bummer. I guess it was your typical pedicure, but it's pricier here than other places. I HATE to write bad reviews but here's the honest truth. The atmosphere is beautiful and their technology is very up to date, they are one of a few places with mood changing gel & nexgen... BUT when I got nail extensions and the color changing nexgen my nail broke two days later, only to come back fix it and it break again the SAME WEEK. I have NEVER had this happen before, I'm not sure if their product they're using isn't good or the technic used wasn't good but I'd say stay away from the color changing nexgen here! Unfortunately, I had an unenjoyable experience here. The lady that did my pedicure ended up cutting my toe in 2 different places with the cuticle clipper. The gel is already coming off after a few days, as well. Additionally, my next gen manicure was just okay. The nails are all different lengths for the most part, and the "square" shape on some of the nails is extremely pointy at the edges. Overall, sloppy work. This salon is also a little more expensive than any others I have visited. I went to this place on Thursday to get my nails done. My whole set was completed before a couple of ladies who walked in before me. I was suspicious of this and realized I didn't get the typical cuticle trimming, nail filing/trimming, etc. The tech, Trang, who did my nails just went into the process of gluing the tips and dipping. I was informed days later when I called to inquire that dip powder is not considered a manicure, but yet they charge $35 for a full set? I also didn't get the complementary mini hand massage that I always get at other salons. I don't know if this is customary for dip powder at other salons, but that was what I was told here. Although the set was done quickly, I was initially very happy with the color and the shape my nails turned out. I will give only that much to Trang. No more than 24hrs later (Friday afternoon) the top coat of my nails were completely scratched up. Part of the powder of two of my nails had chipped off. I called on Saturday morning to ask about this. Although I never got dip powder before, I've had others such as gel and colored powder. I know that the top coat shouldn't have scratched like that and the powder shouldn't have chipped. I understand over time, probably. Not in 24-48hrs. Kevin was completely understanding and told me that my nails definitely shouldn't have done that. He told me to come in as soon as I could to get it fixed. I came in at 3pm. Kevin took a look at my nails and understood why I was not happy. He told the original nail tech that I came in to get my nails fixed because they were scratched. Trang proceeded to speak in Vietnamese, accusing me of bumping into things or doing too much. That's why I had scratches like that. I got really upset at this point and spoke up (yes, Trang thought I couldn't understand her. Surprise I'm Vietnamese.) to let her know I haven't done anything to warrant the amount of scratches and chipping that I had. She proceeded to walk back to her work station and complain to her coworker, Evan. Hello, I'm still sitting right here and I can hear everything you're saying. Her friend, Evan, one point even came over to try to fix my nails and also said I caused the scratches because I probably showered and used too much soap. Um, excuse me? So am I supposed to only shower with water? Worst experience ever. Your techs definitely need some customer service training. Don't blame the customer for your obvious lack of skills. You shouldn't be speaking about customers in Vietnamese either. You'll never know who can understand it. The only reason why this place even gets two stars is because Kevin was good at his job. He was accommodating and spent his time making sure my nails were the best when I left. I definitely wouldn't recommend coming here unless you get someone other than Trang and Evan to do your nails. My friend had her mani and pedi done by two other people and hers turned out great! read more
