Customer service 0 out of 10. The pedicure itself was a 2 out of 10 for $32. REALLY RUSHED/not tidy work at all. Overall would not recommend. They have regular polish, ask for it it's not directly displayed to see as the walls look like they have dips and gels. You don't need to get gel or dip, can get regular polish. One person started working on a manicure for the girl across from me and stopped to finish a pedicure for someone else without telling the manicure girl and the girl left. Save your $. read more

This place could be better. I went a few times since it's close to where I live, but I plan on looking for a new place. Pricing is just okay. Wait time could be a lot better. Quality of the work is just okay. Service is nonexistent. - Paid about $35 excluding tip for basic acrylics (no extensions), which I think is pretty standard. - When I go by myself, the wait time is typically 30 minutes even with an appointment. It seems like walk-in's and appointments are treated equally when it comes to wait time. When I went with a group of friends (3 of us) though... the wait time was TWO HOURS for me. There were only two techs, and there were already customers they were working with. One friend waited about 30min, the other friend waited a little more than an hour. I went last and waited the longest. I felt rushed as well; the quality wasn't as great for me compared to my friends who went first. We even had an appointment. We told them the number of people coming over the phone, too. - Every time I got my acrylics done, the tech was a bit rough with the drill. I felt pain at least once every time with her getting too close to my cuticles. My nail bed is always ground up really thin that they bend without the acrylics. The tech also doesn't seem to pay too much attention to detail. The thickness of the acrylics is often uneven for all my nails, and some nails were missing acrylic on the edge. They were pretty unnoticeable, but if you are picky, I wouldn't recommend this place. - Every time I went, I was not offered art/color books or drinks (which I think is pretty standard in nail salons nowadays). They kinda expected me to look for the art/color books on my own. I get it's not a necessity, but some sort of service improvement would be nice. read more

I think it's very unprofessional for them to tell me that they close at 5 PM when it clearly says on their website they close at 8pm and on their front door that they close at 7:30PM on Fridays. I showed up at 4:30 PM, took time out of my day, and used my gas just to be told that they close at 5 PM. They didn't even give me a reason why. I would not recommend to go to this nail salon ever. I used to go here and had not been in a long time and before when I had been, it was fine. Today I went in a little bit of a pinch because I wanted to get home before it got too cold. When I arrived, they had no music on, no TVs, and a few people were working, but they acted like they almost weren't open. I asked if they were open and they said yes to come in. I said I wanted to get my nails done and get a pedicure, but not at the same time. They sent me in a different pedicure chair and started my pedicure and then immediately came over and started trying to do my nails. I told her I did not want them done at the same time and she ignored me and just kept doing my nails. Then she wrapped all of my fingers in foil and acetone and proceeded to get on her phone and talk for about 45 minutes. When the foil pieces started falling off my fingers, another girl came over and started working on my nails and she was doing fine. This made the one who was originally working on my nails mad so she came and told her to get up and kept working on my nails while she was still on her phone talking as loudly as possible. I put in noise canceling headphones and turned on music to listen to and I could still hear her over that. The one doing my pedicure did not speak any English and I asked her to heat up the water and she just smiled and nodded and never did. Other than that, the pedicure was fine. I decided I was finished and was leaving without getting my nails finished whenever she started trying to physically peel off the nails that were still on my nail beds. She tried to manually remove them by using her own fingernail to scrape them off. It hurt and ripped my own nail. So I grabbed my hands and pulled them back and I told her I was done. She then got upset and would not speak to me the rest of the time I was there which was fine and I could tell she was talking about it to the other two but not in English. I immediately left there with my nails, looking like they look in these photos and went to my regular nail place, which was further away, and they were so kind and fixed them for me. I stumbled on Sunny Nails via Google Maps and ratings. And I have to say, what a pleasant surprise! This is going to be my new go-to. $30 for Nexgen, and all I did was stroll on in. I went on a Friday afternoon, right before rush hour. Upon arriving, I was greeted by the owner, asked to pick a color, and was seated almost immediately. My technician (Lien) was amazing. She was very attentive and efficient - the whole process was about 45 minutes (which is perfect because I always wonder what the heck happened when a single polish manicure takes longer than 60 minutes). One of my nails was a little bit shorter than the others, so she asked if I wanted to put a tip on it (never done that before) at no extra charge. I've gotten tons of compliments. It's been nearly 4 weeks, and my nails still look amazing (aside from them growing out). Highly recommend this place. read more

I really really wanted to like this place, mostly because I wanted to believe I could get a good pedicure for $20. It probably isn't possible though. When I was in the shop, it was just me and a couple of regulars. I didn't really talk at all, but even the regulars weren't really talking to their pedicurists/manicurists. While she was doing my nails, she nicked me with the cuticle clippers a few different times, but I didn't make any sign that this was uncomfortable, so maybe this was my fault? But at the nail place I usually go to, I never have to tell them and they don't hurt me. My big toenails curl in a little bit at the sides, so she used the cuticle clippers to cut downward angles to cut the sides off. I felt like I had read something about this being bad, but she does this all day- she knows what she's doing. I did appreciate how thorough she was with the paint though. If I got one little nick, she would re-paint it, and once she even removed the polish from a whole nail and re-did the two coats. That part I was really pleased with. That's where they earned a star. I got back home and my mom, who used to do nails professionally, confirmed that yes, that downward angle thing is not favorable. Fast forward to this morning, and my big toes really hurt where she did that :( like I said, I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, and I'm a pretty laid back reviewer/rater usually, but I feel that this is unacceptable. read more

One of my pet peeves when going to any establishment is when they take another client in the MIDDLE of your appointment. I came here during my one hour break from work for a pedicure. In the middle of my pedi, the woman excuses herself to do an eyebrow appt. how is this professional at all? Furthermore, I fail to see how one person's time is more important than another's. After 15 mins of waiting (because I was left mid pedi) I inquired how much more longer I'd have to wait. I *wanted* to walk out. The girl finally came back and continued her sub par pedicure service. I'm not really sure why this place has such great reviews. They staff was very nice and friendly. My nails are just awful and so are my toes. There is why too much white tip it makes my nails look short and stubby. The lady offered to put glitter and I thought why not and I think the glitter came out awful and sloppy. My toes were rushed and the lady just caked on the polish and had several hairs from the brush in the polish and she still kept painting them without removing it. My nails have dried acrylic underneath them the filing is awful on the side. The nail is flat and uneven on the top. The acrylic and the polish on my toes don't even cover all of the nail. Honestly I was embarrassed to even show off my nails at my sisters wedding tonight. I got them done this morning. I'm honestly really upset that they came out so horrible because the lady was really nice. Do not recommend anyone coming here. read more

I have been getting my nails done here off and on for about a year. I've never had a complaint I've always left satisfied with the service. Yesterday I decided to go and get my nails did and I even invited two of my coworkers. Well we get there and everything was going fine. The lady Jenny or Penny that normally does my nails was busy so the guy that was there did my nails. Let's just say when he was finished my nails didn't look good at all. I requested a full set of the Nexgen dip nails. After he finished several of my nails looked like the paint was chipped. If I could see this how could he not see it. Once I brought it to his attention he said he would fix it. He also blamed it on a new polish that they had just started using. Well after he so called fixed my nails. I got up and started talking to one of my co-workers then I started to inspect my nails. I noticed that they still didn't look right. So I went and spoke to Jenny/ Penny not sure which is correct. I showed her my nails she agreed that they didn't look right and said she would fix it. Well I had already waisted 2 hours there and didn't want to waste anymore time. So, I told her I would come back tomorrow. She asked what time I told her between 4-5pm. She gave me her card and said ok. Call me before you come and I'll fix it. I was upset but at the same time I was ok because at least my nails would be fixed. Well the next day rolls around I call and ask for her. She gets on the phone and I kid you not she acts as if she doesn't remember the situation for just yesterday! I even went into detail and she still acted if he she didn't remember. Then she says so you just want your nails fixed? I tell her yes I want the messed up job that the guy did to my nails to be fixed. She then tells me ok you can come on I fix it. After I hung up the phone I decided that I was not going to waste anymore of my time dealing with them. I'll just deal with this messed up job that was done and write a review. I normally don't write reviews about places well negative reviews but the fact that I brought them two new customers yesterday and received a jacked up full set then to top it off dealt with someone that acted like she had amnesia the next day. No thanks they have lost my business I will go elsewhere pay more money and leave out satisfied. read more

This place seems nice but my nail set removal was painful because she wouldn't soak them first. While the lady did take instructions, she didn't execute very well. My nails are supposed to be coffin style but they're regular rectangles. She cut and filled my nails way too short so now they bleed and hurt.
