Wow! This is the greatest nail salon in Plano. This mother-daughter team are the best thing since the wheel! Their shop is small, neat and optimized so that every space is used perfectly. You never feel closed in, they make you feel so comfortable, cared for and when you see the finished product....along with your bill your smile will be as big as Texas. Lana and Selena are fantastic. I enjoy getting manis/pedis once every three weeks, and I have for years. Since it is always difficult to find great talent in any profession, once I find my people, I stick with them. For the last few years, I have been driving 45 minutes away (one way) from my house for my nail appointments, just to give you an idea of who I am...lol. I have been wanting to find a place more convenient to my house, since one of my nail ladies has recently moved, so I booked an appointment for a mani/pedi with RoyalLuxe. They are super friendly, accommodating, and very particular about doing things right, not necessarily in a rush, which I completely appreciate. They have their system down. While I was there, the appointment before me was wrapping up, and towards the end of my time, the next client was walking in. No one felt rushed or ignored, in fact, it was pretty fun, and it felt more like a couple of girlfriends hanging out, laughing and having a good time....plus, my nails looked (and still look) GREAT! I'm not sure how this salon has gotten good ratings. I was there today. I made the appointment with Lana about 5 weeks ago. It was confirmed yesterday. Lana wasn't there when I arrived. Her mother seated me and started working on my nails. I asked where Lana was, Lunch was the answer. Another customer who came in after me was seated in Lana's chair. Lana came in and took the other customer. No one asked me if this was ok, nor did anyone apologize. I have had the mother once before and it was a poor and painful experience. NEVER AGAIN BTW. My nails feel healthy, I've been to salons before where they're rough with your nails or cuticle or file down too much- not here. Both ladies are wonderful. I hate going to nail salons but it's always pleasant getting my nails done with them. RoyalLuxe is located inside Mattison Salons so made it a little hard to find at first but once I found it, it was a very cozy, clean and modern environment. This a peaceful 2 person salon and Mom/Daughter team do not disappoint. Lana was very knowledgeable and did a terrific job. My nails are going on 2 weeks and looks like the first day I've had it, beautiful still. Since it is a 2 person salon, Lana gives great detail to quality of your nails unlike those bigger salons where the quality is lacking and quantity is more important. She also has a variety of rhinestones, nail tattoos and all the bells and whistles for that extra something on your nails. If you want it - I'm pretty sure she has it.
