Gave me a price then upped it another $20 on check out. Not cool. I hope they can be more honest with customers with costs up front.

I've been going to Oscar Nail for over 5 years, and I always book with Tiffany--she is truly the best! Tiffany is incredibly skilled, detail-oriented, and always makes sure my nails look perfect every time. She takes great care in her work and makes the whole experience relaxing and enjoyable. The service is consistently excellent, and I always leave feeling happy and confident with my nails. If you're looking for a talented and caring nail technician, I highly recommend Tiffany at Oscar Nail! read more

I really enjoy this Salon! the customer service is great and they are very helpful! prices are reasonable! I have been coming for a few months and it hadn't been until this most recent visit that I had any issues. I just noticed from my last set a strange scratch that appeared on my nails a few days later and I assumed it was a exterior scratch but it is actually under the top coat so I'm not sure what happened but this is the only issue I've had. it unfortunately does look bad now in my opinion but I still would come back to this salon read more

Oscar Nails is by far the best salon with multiple services offered. I've been coming to Oscar Nails for over 10 years and have never considered going anywhere else. The service is excellent. The quality always on par. Grace & JoAnne been taking care of me for years and years. I completely trust anything and everything that they recommend for me. It is a beautiful salon and very conveniently located. I always look forward to my appointment as I get to sit back and chat with my two gals, have a glass of wine sometimes and relax, and walk out with Beautiful toes and nails, and always feel so much better. Joanne does the best job on my nails (dip) I've ever had and I'm very picky!! Grace does excellent pedicures. I won't let anyone else touch my toes but Grace. Management takes pride in this salon and it shows. If you want the best- come to Oscar Nails in Carrollton!!! read more

We always have a great experience here! Amy is amazing. My nails have never looked better than with her- I don't know how she does it. This time, my daughter got Grace, who was so incredibly sweet. She talked my three-year-old through what she was doing, asked her questions, and made the experience perfect for her with rainbow nails. Highly recommend! read more

Got a mani/pedi. I wanted ombre nails. He struggled for a long time and never could get what I wanted because he couldn't figure out how to. Super nice guy but way too much for what I got. Had them done this past Saturday, paid $85 and Monday they started peeling off. I live in Alabama and this place is in Dallas. Not like I can go back. So now I'm going to my regular place and having to get them redone tomorrow. read more

Reasonably priced, very comfortable, great ambiance, lots of colors and a wide range of services to choose from, and some decent wine to enjoy with your pedicure. There are three sort of fountains on the walls that add to a very relaxing environment. Staff is friendly and I was able to walk right in and get started with no wait, despite them being pretty busy and it being Saturday afternoon. I'm new to the area, so I was very happy to find a good spot on the first try and I will definitely be back. read more

Honestly unsure how this place is still around. Used to live right here so would go out of convenience and thought I'd try it again based on reviews. For $70, my pedicure lasted 35 minutes. I understand "classic pedicures" I get them every month at my regular place which still makes you feel like it's worth the $65, not a rushed job. Felt more like a polish change and the worst polish change, but actual pedicure I've ever had. My toenails are almost gone how short they were cut. The color is completely wrong and orange instead of pink that was an exact match for my nails. She tried to upsell me THREE times between pedicures, add ons and eyebrow wax (just were done last week at a real waxing center). It's super upsetting to spend that kind of money and have to go get them redone. Avoid. There's a reason it's always empty when I go. read more

I went here to have a broken nail fixed. I got my nails done elsewhere and picked the closest place to get it fixed. I knew their was a high chance they wouldn't be able to match my color and I was fine with that. They had a really small collection of dip colors. Unfortunately, lady who fixed my nail did a poor job. The powder is not spread evenly after telling her my issue. On top of that it was $9 to repair! Usually, it's $5 everywhere else I go. That's crazy to me. My nail is fixed and the pain is gone so that's where the two stars come in. I won't be back. read more

Oscar Nails Day Spa - Acrylic Full Set - Nail Salons Near Me - Carrollton, Texas

I have been to this salon many times in the past and received good service. This time, however, I cannot say that. If I could post a zero star I would. Suddenly their prices are exorbitant and there are new fees for everything. 1) extra charge for using a nail file to shape your nails. I did not request any special shape, in fact my response was "just keep the same shape". 2) extra charge to take off the prior polish. 3) extra charge for extra long nails (they are not extra long, just normal length. 4) $20 charge for exfoliation on pedicure, seems excessive. I had the receptionist doing my nails and she kept walking away to help others. We had an appointment; what is wrong with my money. When I went to check out I noticed an additional $77.00 in extra charges. When I questioned the bill the response I received was: "This is what it is" and in a less than friendly tone. In fact they seemed to be bothered with my questioning them. What does that mean?? I paid the extra charges and gave the nail techs a generous tip. However, in the future, if I am up charged additional charges again it will come out of the very generous tip. I am not a fan of not being informed that there is an additional fee after the fact. I think it's time to find a reputable salon that provides customer service vs. just taking your money. read more

Well I have been coming here for years and my go-to tech is Joanne. It took me a while to come to the salon since the pandemic but I couldn't take it anymore as it was long overdue. My service is usually great and NO COMPLAINTS! Good convo and service. Now! These last few visits have been subpar. Mind you I'm spending $100+ for nexgen and gel mani/pedi. They want you to pay for every damn thing! Cuticles cut? $5 Foot scrub/callous removal? $5. When did they start charging for that? Is it not part of the pedicure process?!? I'm confused. Now what gets me is that you do it and don't advise there is a fee/cost associated. Now I'm at the register on sticker shock! That's ok, I take it out the tip. I'll be looking to go elsewhere for sure...I work too hard for my coins. read more

I have been going to the salon, literally for years! At least 6 to 7 years. I usually have great results. I especially love getting amazing pedicures from Grace! However, in the last few months, they have started hiring new technicians, and I have to say the three I have had so far have not been up to par. However, this last one was the worst. She was extremely nice, but my nails are awful! I just had them done on Sunday and today is Wednesday. the edges are crumbling and look crusty, and the nail are so bumpy and the shape is wide and thick. I hate to say it because I love Grace and some of the other technicians here but I will not be back. Also, the last few times I've had the exact same thing done and it's been different pricing every time. This last time it was $175 for an eyebrow wax, a pedicure, and the dip nails. Time to find a new place! read more

Watch out there is a Tiffany that works here she was my favorite till one day I asked my nails done and she wasn't there so her co-worker did it it was bad they were falling out within days I went to her to fix it #1 I thought she would do it free #2 I told next time I learned only her, well these 2 were talking and talking and the next 3x I went my nails just fall out in 3 days but my price was 75-100 wth? So I asked her what happened she said your nails thin I was like ok..I went to different location wouldn't you know it was like normal like I was with here in the beginning it was a scam she wasn't removing all the previous junk from my nails so it would not hold she wouldn't soak my nails ever. I don't recommend her and the other lady I took my daughter one day she cried I thought my daughter overreacted. read more

Not impressed with this place at all. Don't let the nice decor inside make you think they do good work. I had a 6pm appointment, which was made a day prior. When I arrived , they didn't have my appointment. This led me to wait in a chair with no water for almost 24 mins. I asked for the deluxe Papaya pedi, which was supposed to have 20 min hot stones. The stones were NOT hot, and only one leg was massaged (with the stones). The rest is the time was basically the tech rubbing in lotion & oil. No actual massaging. Still not sure where the papaya came in to play. The pedicure was rushed & I don't appreciate tech acknowledging how much dead skin was taken off my feet-- that's obviously what I was there for ! I also got a acrylic gel fill-- I'll let the pics speak for themselves. Polish not filling the entire nail, just sloppy. Wildly inflated prices-- I'm having such a hard time finding a consistent nail salon here. **update** I went back this morning & the staff was very apologetic & willing to fix my nails. They are still a bit sloppy around the cuticles but the polish job is much better. Not sure just yet if I'll return but I definitely appreciate the service after the fact . Most places get huffy when you return to have them fixed read more

The work was good and service was good but they tried to charge me and xtra amount for "special tips" - they removed it when they agreed that my regular nails were in fact not special at all. Just make sure you tell them what you want beforehand and confirm the price. Left a bad first impression on me. read more

First, let me say I have been coming here for years. I always see Joanne , who is amazing! My nail tech got married and moved away. So,I have to use different ladies, till I pick one to do regularly. Today, i came in the and was trying to pick my color.. wasnt sure what colorI wanted but saw l lady who was drying next to me that had a color I was considering. Angela had finished her hands. Angela used to do my nails but I stopped bec she always has the WORST attitude . Not to mention she always looks homeless when she comes to work. So, i asked what color the lady next to me was wearing so I could use it also. She flat out refused to give Joanne my color. Vivian who was doing my nail's today was scrambling to find out what it was, trying to match it up. Angela refused to help either of her coworkers and proceeded to-talk about me in Vietnamese. It was appalling! The lady next to me was shocked and shaking her head, nail techs were to shocked to speak! I almost walked out, I was so mad but I didnt want to mess up Joanne schedule. She has always been great with me! I probably wont be coming back though! Im not paying $150 every 2 weeks to be disrespected and treated like that! I have seen Angela be very disrespectful to other client's and get many complaints about her work and her attitude. Why Oscar nails would still employ this representative, of their company is beyond me. She ruins the whole experience for many women. Ive seen it. She certainly not doing them any favors in a time where we are in a recession and people cutting extra expenses out. read more
