She started learning her skill as a teenager and has been doing eyebrows ever since. It has been a passion of hers since she was a girl. Par also does facials. What I didn't know about the salon is that they also do manicures, pedicures, waxing and massage. Many of these services are done in well appointed private rooms, so if you prefer a quiet, tranquil environment to get these services, this is the salon for you. I'll be coming back. read more

Having grown up in the 80s with a generation who plucked our brows into oblivion and a husband whose older sisters didn't offer to help tame his brows, we both vowed our kids would never be left to figure out their brows on their own. I've been waxing the center of my sons' brows for about a year now, but this last time our home kit didn't cut it. Fast forward to finding the rave reviews of Brow & Wax Wizard I gave them a call. True to the reviews, I was told we could walk in anytime, no appointment required, and they'd charge a smaller fee for kids than the adult price listed online. We were greeted by two smiling women who welcomed myself and my kids right in. They showed the boys to two comfy leather seats. The boys were apprehensive, afraid of the unknown, but wow! They were both done with clean space between their brows in a flash. Both boys looked at me as if to say, "thats it? I'm done?!" We paid upfront and each of the three women waved goodbye. Once in the car, the boys were thrilled to say it didn't hurt at all, it was so quick, and they were glad we came. We will be back! Maybe next time I'll book myself an appointment too! read more

I booked an appointment in advance for my daughter, who has only ever received services from one specific esthetician. The appointment was confirmed through email, and we also received both text and email reminders. We arrived at 12:03 PM for a 12 PM appointment. After waiting 23 minutes with no communication, I called the Brow and Wax Wizard phone number. Only then was I informed that the esthetician I had booked would not arrive until 1 PM. During that call, the woman who answered said, "We do walk-in appointments." I am aware of that option, but if I wanted a walk-in appointment, I would have done so from the start. I booked in advance specifically to avoid waiting. She then offered to perform my daughter's services herself. Five minutes later, she returned to tell me it would be another 15 minute wait. This was confusing and frustrating...why offer a service that could not be accommodated? My daughter was finally seated at 12:50 PM, nearly 50 minutes after our scheduled appointment time. This is not how I expect to spend my Sunday afternoon...sitting on a couch for almost an hour despite having a confirmed appointment. If the esthetician was not scheduled to arrive until 1 PM, the 12 PM appointment should never have been available to book. Given the multiple confirmations and reminders sent by Brow and Wax Wizard there was ample opportunity to notify us of the delay in advance. The responsibility for accurate scheduling and communication should not fall on the client. Appointments should reflect actual staff availability. To be clear, the esthetician we originally booked with does exemplary and professional work. I've debated on going to this establishment for a while and I regret it. I walked in to have my brows threaded and tinted yesterday. Leila greeted me with a smile and made sure she understood what I wanted before starting. The service in total took less than 20 minutes. I believe I was the first customer, but she was on her third customer by the time I paid. All in all, the services were great. The establishment was clean and the price was amazing in comparison to other eyebrow shops around. Threading $10 & Tinting $15.
