The technique didn't match what I requested, and the pricing shifted several times -- from $280 to $250, and finally $210 for the requested balayage and haircut. For the result I received, it felt higher than expected. The haircut itself was fine, but he does charge $80 for a quick trim on fine hair without coloring, price feels steep. Bes is beyond amazing. I called asking if I could get an appointment and he was willing to get me in that evening, I scheduled for the next morning and he was very communicative regarding his time. He had another client that was running late and asked if I could come in a little later, which was no problem. Upon arriving at the salon, he greeted me very friendly. I needed a hair cut for a medical reason, leave it as that. I called and requested to get a cut and he was kind enough to tell me to come on down! I was there in an hour and half. Bes is kind and courteous, polite in every way. My scalp is tender to touch and hair movement, he was so gentle. My hair was long, below my shoulders. We talked about possible cuts and in 30 minutes my hair was on the floor and I was done! Painless and happy with outcome. Thank you Bes. I was trying to get a haircut two days before Thanksgiving and because my usual hairdresser was fully booked days before and couldn't squeeze me, I frantically searched through Yelp without much luck. Let me also preface by that I try not to change hairdressers because I have a hard time trusting them from previous bad experiences especially with my post covid hair loss.... Once I was there, he warmly greeted me and not only gave me a phenomenal haircut but I got balayage for the first time. He kept the suspense and wouldn't let me see til it was all done and let me tell you, I LOVE IT!! He respected my request to keep my length, gave me nice long layers and the reddish-brown balayage was so so pretty!!! Wow- I had high hopes and definitely am impressed at my visit. First, it's not everyone salón you call that will accommodate you same day. I wasn't even expecting to be seen on the same day. I could tell from walking in that Bes had a welcoming and positive attitude for his clients. He welcomed me as if he'd known me and that's just great customer service. All of his clients were happy, I was able to meet several of them on the same day. I can honestly say he's the fist person who's cut my hair that actually listened to me when I said I'd like to keep my hair length so long as it's healthy hair. This man creates the most beautiful hair color I have ever seen. I've been dying my light brunette hair red since I was 15, and never before has it looked so flattering and natural.
