Hands down best haircut experience that I've ever had. I am quite hesitant with going to salons, due to the texture and length of my hair (fine and short), not to mention I attempted a DIY undercut about a year ago that I attempted to maintain. Candace made the process so seamless and spent a lot of time and care on my hair cutting it both wet and dry to ensure that the cut had texture and body, which is not an easy feat with my locks. Meesh & Mya are the best!! I've been on the hunt for a salon & stylist I love & I'm so happy to have found them. They are both so knowledgeable about hair and give me tips & advice on how to take care of it best! They've taken my hair from brown to black, to orange, to pink!! Customer service is definitely not a priority here! I had an appointment and was about three minutes late which seemed to set the mood for the entire appointment. There were hardly words spoken between my stylist and myself which was obviously an uncomfortable situation. Being friendly is part of the business and if that doesn't come natural then the ability to acquire and sustain clients will be a constant struggle. Jessica was fantastic! If I lived anywhere near Plano I would definitely go back. She seriously saved my hair after I really mistreated and ignored it for 8 months. She's a magical wizardess, really knowledgeable about hair and really talented. And a total delight to talk to! Came in for the first time to be a haircut model for one of the hairstylists, Jessica. The place is really clean and it's nice that a tv is provided at each station so you can watch tv and you don't have to drain out your phone battery. Jessica was very polite and courteous and open to your suggestions. She was needing a perform a long bob cut, but she was willing to hear out to the extent of what I wanted and the length and what not. She took her time washing and conditioning my hair. She had cut hair before, however she needed more experience with doing trendy hairstyles. I told her that I've tried to get long angled bobs in the past, but they've always come out more as bobs than angled bobs. Granted, the cut did take a lot longer than expected, but as a model you're always given a disclaimer beforehand that it can take a while. But with hair, I'd rather she take her time then to rush through it because it might take a bit before my hair can grow back out. Towards the end, her mentor did come and take a few snips and clean up some. But it looked great!! Jessica ended the do with a curly finish and it was perfection! read more

*edited in response to the rude comment below** The commentary below from my original post is completely accurate. I will agree only with the fact that yes, because of traffic, I was 4 minutes late. For which I apologized profusely. My stylist did try to move my appt several times and asked me to come back at another date and time. I have had my hair done by some of the best in the country, believing that although I paid hundreds and hundreds of dollars each time, what I was receiving was worth every penny. Nowhere did I mention that I couldn't afford the bait and switch pricing I was told. Your stylist used the excuse that the time of the appointment was the reason for the upcharge, not the cost of the product. Sometimes I don't enjoy working late myself, but as a professional, I don't charge customers twice as much. I stand by all of my comments including the atmosphere, upkeep and proven by your comments below, extremely rude customer service. I hope potential customers take a look at your website before stepping foot in your salon and see how before you even meet with a customer to EARN their business, you talk about how you will handle their complaints. There must be a lot. Good day. It's been a long time since I've received this poor of customer service. I came in for my scheduled appointment, and my stylist asked me to come back at a different time. After explaining I preferred to have my appointment completed, she then tried to charge me almost $200 over the published max price on their website! I should have trusted my gut when I walked in that this salon was not up to the standard of other salons in the area. Take 1 step inside and you'll understand. If I could leave -5 stars I would. I walked in requesting lighter hair and walked out with darker inconsistent hair than what I walked in with. Not only is it the color awful but it is badly damaged!!! The tips are now a grey/purple in color. I have breakage for the first time in my life. At one point the hair dresser asked if It was normal for me to lose a lot of hair while washing. The Root touch up color was badly stained all over my forehead and scalp. I could run my fingers through my hair and fingers would come back stained. I spent FOUR hours to walk away with unfinished ugly hair. The owner was extremely rude and threatening. The owner offered to fix what was damaged and at that point I was not going to risk more damage to be done to my hair. It's so obviously these guys are very immature in their hair experience. Wish I had believed the other poor reviews complaining of the same inadequate coloring. read more

LOVE is in an understatement. Maria is amazing. I haven't trusted anyone with my hair in years due to clip happy hair stylists and she listened to me and gave me advice on how to properly manage my hair moving forward. She almost put me to sleep with the head massage she gave me while shampooing my hair. I love what she did and I feel so confident with my shorter hair- even though I have always loved my length. I often have salon anxiety because I always feel like I'm paying a lot of money to be silently judged. I'm not always the nicest to my hair, and I have an undercut, and I henna it...all things hair stylists hate. BUT I desperately needed a trim so I went to my trusted YELP and found a place I thought might work. Well, as usual, yelp was right! I went to this salon for the first time. I have been looking for a stylist. My hair is really dense and frizzy. If cut and texturized the wrong way, it is difficult to style and gets frizzier. I've been to several salons and this is one of the best. All the stylists are nice and patient. My stylist Kadie is awesome. She's funny and always so understanding. I always have a hard time deciding on color and brightness. She takes her time going through all of it. My hair continues to improve every time- she created multi-dimensional highlights and is correcting the awful layers I used to have.
