I had my first lash lift, and it was the most comfortable beauty procedure I've done! Lily does a great job of making sure no chemicals reach the eyes, and is very gentle. Lily has changed my life. Seriously. She is amazing at lashes and Brazilians! I love that I finally have a "go to" place! Before Lily, I had experiences with two other lash places. My lashes from the first place never lasted. They fell out in clumps everyday. The second woman was really cheap and the lashes stayed on longer but she was terrible. She simply glued layers and layers of lashes on top of another which made them so heavy that they fell. When I went to Lily, she politely told me she could resolve my issues, and she did! Lily is perfectionist. She takes her time gluing each faux lash to your real lash and waits for each one to dry before putting the next one on. I know that sounds like common sense but the other two women I went to applied the lashes so quickly they would finish a fill in about 20 minutes. Lily's appointments take longer but her lashes last MUCH longer and look so natural. I go for a fill every two weeks whereas I went to the other place every week because the lashes fell out all the time. I used to get my waxes at Waxing in the City but they have so much turn over that you always get a rookie. Lily is very experienced and she makes it as comfortable as the waxing can be. I decided to graduate from random nail salon drop-ins for eyebrow waxes, hoping to find someone who I could go to regularly, and I stumbled upon LT Body Worx. The great Yelp reviews lured me in. First, Lily's method of communication is great - you can text her which makes scheduling appointments and asking questions that much easier. Second (and third and etc...), she's so nice! She made me feel right at home, talked as if we had been friends who hadn't seen each other in a while and were catching up, and put any nervousness at ease. She also had a great Pandora station playing in the background and that was nice, in case there were any weird silences. Fortunately there weren't, because she's great to talk to. I was extremely pleased with my overall experience because the environment and her work areas appeared super clean, and more importantly, her quality of service and work far exceeded my expectations. I love my eyebrows now! I have one eyebrow with a scar on it, and she did a great job of taking note of my concerns and even gave me tips about how to cover up the scar and continue properly caring for my 'brows.
