Well, it's like this..... My wife and daughter have been going to Michayla for awhile and are very happy with her services. It was decided that I, 6'2" and 260# silverback gorilla that I am, needed my back sugar waxed. Well, I'm no wuss so I put on my big boy pants and went as ordered. I used to get brazilian sugared regularly when I lived in Los Angeles but haven't gotten it done since moving to Dallas a year and a half ago. I was definitely nervous to get it done again with a new person but Michayla was seriously awesome! I went in to Sugar Coated for a Brazilian wax about a week ago. Michayla, the aesthetician, was warm, bubbly, and a delight to speak with during the appointment. Michayla has been in the industry for several years now and it showed in her knowledge, attention to detail, and quality of work during the appointment. I have been getting Brazilian waxes on and off for the past five years and have had some aestheticians who have used hard wax and others who have used soft wax but she was the first I have had to use both in the span of one appointment. She did a first run with the hard wax, followed that with a clean up with the soft wax, and finished with tweezing whatever was left. From what I saw immediately after the appointment and going on a week since, I have to say it's the most thorough wax that I have had in recent memory. I have some particularly stubborn hair in the nether regions and my skin is sensitive so I usually come out of Brazilian wax appointments looking rather red and irritated down south. But between Michayla's skillful technique with the two types of wax and whatever soothing tea tree oil-based product she used on my skin post-wax, I came out of it with very minimal discomfort and my skin looking the best it ever has immediately post-wax. I expect to return to Sugar Coated the next time I have a need for hair removal services and will likely try sugaring next time, given that the name of the business seems to indicate that it is the speciality there. read more
