Kat, my esthetician, is amazing -- she always explains everything she's doing and how it helps, and checks in throughout to make sure I'm comfortable with how the laser feels or if I need a break during the resurfacing. The facility is super clean, and they give you a headband and cleansing wipes before you start. if I could give this place a negative 100 I would. I cancelled my membership over a year ago - which you are required to do in person- but they have continued to charge me despite my requests to cancel and for a refund. I contacted this establishment about the issue and both the owner of this business and their customer support have not reached out nor have they refunded over 2000 dollars which they wrongfully withdrew from my account. In addition, they take a percentage of the tips you give to their employees. Every person who provided laser treatment informed me they were not only paid less by Skin Laundry than every other company they had worked for as an aesthetician, but SL did not provide them their full gratuity. I was also informed the lasers used were not the full strength advertised by the business bc SL had bought lesser equipment since I had first enrolled - which is why I stopped seeing results. This franchise - or whatever it is - has serious problems and they could give a damn about their customers. read more

A terrible experience! I had a New Client Consultation - 15 min and New Client Signature Laser Facial at 8:30am on 10/4/2024. The young lady at the front desk checked me in at 8:30am when I arrived. At 8:40am she let me know that the provider let her know she's running roughly 30 mins late due to traffic and that I could wait around for her to arrive if I wanted too keep my appointment. This place seems to have a problem treating women with accents. I've noticed and I've read several reviews from other Middle Eastern clients who are very upset. It does appear that if you are African-American, you are treated differently, and the reviews are wonderful. The owners and especially the aesthetician and the front desk girl should get the chip off of their shoulder and treat people with equal respect. If you can't do that, then maybe you could go start collecting tin cans under a freeway. Because according to your attitude, that's where this business found you in the first place. Focus more on customer service and less on your 10 inch eyelashes. Treat people with respect based on the fact that they are customers and not that you can relate to their ethnicity or race. Yes, I am accusing you of blatant racism and I am reporting you to the state and I am reporting you to the Better Business Bureau. As a result, you should be on your best behavior because the state of Texas will therefore conduct undercover operations at your facilities, using people of different ethnicities and genders to ascertain the degree in which you treat them with equality. If you are found liable, then you can expect a class action lawsuit from several previous upset clients who feel that they have been discriminated against. Maybe you have personal issues that you need to work out or you're just an angry, upset and mean person. If this is the case, then go find a job where you could be a nasty person to anyone you want. I scheduled my 1st appointment and changed my mind within the 12 hour cancellation window. There is NOWHERE to cancel online, they don't respond to texts, and they NEVER answer their phone. Not only did I get charged, I got charged the full $75 and not the $25 late cancel charge (even though I was not late). I forgot about this drama and scheduled an appointment again for sure knowing I was going in. Well we had a HUGE storm and they canceled with me through text asking if I'd like to reschedule and I said NO. I got a text and email later that evening rescheduling my appointment for a later day/time. Again, I tried texting & calling multiple days with voicemails to say I did not authorize this rescheduling and no answer/no response. Seems like a scam to me. read more

The esthetician was amazing. Kind, comforting for a first timer and a nervous patient. The rest I am sorry to say not a great experience. I understand the need for sales but when you treat people like a car salesman would, really just turned me off even if I did like the treatment. I signed up for the first time cheap deal to see if I liked it and then when I went to pay I was told if I didn't sign up right then and there for their program, treatments would cost a lot more. I wanted to make sure I did not have any issues later and would possibly have signed up later.
