I waited until around 5 days post facial to write this review…read more --First, I got very lucky with my timing b/c I asked for a facial literally right after she had a cancellation so I got in next day. But otherwise, expect to book 4-6 weeks out. --Follow her easy to understand email instructions to confirm your appointment by text, and also show up 10 mins early to appointment. That's not too much to ask. --I am 40 and have never had a facial before so I don't have anything to compare this to. --I was surprised by how fun this experience was. Really pleasant and entertaining conversation. I felt like I made a real friend. --Viktoria asks some prelim questions about products you use and medicines you take. You change into a towel robe and the facial begins. I arrived at 3:50 and walked out at 5:30. --The extractions weren't that bad but the whole time I kept thinking how blotchy and red my face was going to look. But guess what? It was not blotchy or red at all! No redness whatsoever. She must be magic. --She did steam, extractions, a mask, infrared light, some other electric thing, moisturizer, massaged my head and shoulders, it was all really nice. Cost with tip was less than $100. --It doesn't matter if you go in wearing makeup or not. --Don't plan any workouts post facial- nothing where you'll sweat afterwards. --I have had no breakouts, no peeling, no negative after effects from the facial. My skin looks great. Even my husband said I looked younger. --There was no pressure to come back at any given interval, but I will plan to go every 6 weeks or so. I already booked my return appointment. --I can't think of anything negative to say. Viktoria is really wonderful. The only possible downside I can think of is that due to location, you're not getting the nice spa atmosphere, but it would cost twice the amount at a fancy spa and you'd likely not get anyone as well trained and experienced as Viktoria, so I really recommend Viktoria for a high quality facial at reasonable price.

We also chatted about my future skincare routine and she shared some of her products with me. What I loved most about her personal approach is that she wasn't trying to sell me on it, it evolved out of a conversation about my existing products that I initiated. I want to be very specific about what happened here so other potential members can make an informed decision. I signed up for a Skin Laundry membership at the Plano location on 12/23/2024. Before signing up, I disclosed pre-arranged travel and arranged a membership freeze for February through partial March 2025. That part was honored without issue. When I returned in March 2025, I scheduled an appointment. They rescheduled me to March 17, 2025. The morning of, they called to tell me their machine was broken. I spoke with the manager, Hina, and explained that as someone running multiple businesses and raising young twins, I couldn't keep absorbing rescheduling delays -- especially given that this is a time-based membership where every disruption costs me. I asked her to cancel my membership. She agreed and confirmed the cancellation was complete. From that day forward, I had no contact with Skin Laundry whatsoever. No appointments. No calls. No requests for service. Nothing. In April 2026, I realized they had been charging my credit card $200 every single month since March 2025 -- $2,800 total. When I called the Plano location, I was told by a different manager (Luna) that: Hina no longer works there. My cancellation was never internally processed because I supposedly hadn't filled out a "cancellation form" -- a form I was never told about, never offered, and never given by Hina or anyone else. They would not refund any of the charges. When I asked Luna for the name and NPI of the supervising physician at the location -- basic, legally required information for a medical spa performing laser procedures in Texas -- she told me she didn't have it and stated "We don't have any physicians, we only have NPs." When I asked just for the names of the nurse practitioners on staff so I could look up their NPI numbers myself, she said she didn't have that either, as the manager. She told me to email corporate. For context: in Texas, laser facial procedures are classified as the practice of medicine and must be performed under the delegation of a licensed physician. NPs performing them must operate under documented supervisory protocols. A manager being unable to identify either the supervising physician or the staff NPs on request is, at minimum, a serious operational concern. I emailed corporate. A representative named Ryan acknowledged the issue, said he'd escalate to the medical team and District Manager -- and then nothing substantive came back, despite multiple follow-ups and a final notice email. I have now filed formal complaints with the Texas Attorney General Consumer Protection Division, the Texas Medical Board, and the Texas Board of Nursing, and I have an active billing dispute with my credit card company. If you are considering a membership, I would strongly recommend reading your contract carefully, getting any cancellation in writing, and understanding what happens when their equipment fails on appointments inside a time-based membership. read more

Luna was incredibly encouraging, supportive, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. Her positive attitude and patience made a big difference, and she made me feel valued as a client. Novuskin MedSpa

3.8

(98 reviews)

Excellent service and the facial was amazing! Beautiful facility and well trained people. 5 stars.read more

Don't step inside!…read more My experience with Novuskin has been extremely disappointing. Although approximately two-thirds of the estheticians, along with Erika, Makayla, the nurses, Genicey, and Jenna, have been skilled, kind, and professional, my interactions with some hostesses, billing and sales staff, management, and other estheticians have left me feeling that customer satisfaction is not a priority. Do not purchase a promotional 90-minute facial through Groupon, Facebook, Instagram, or another platform. In my experience, the advertised facial provided about 20 minutes of treatment followed by a lengthy sales presentation. Before visiting, I expected to purchase a membership and ultimately chose the most expensive option. As a disabled military wife living with chronic pain after more than 50 surgeries and years of putting my family first, I viewed it as something positive to do for myself. Unfortunately, problems began almost immediately. The membership and scheduling Novuskin strongly encourages customers to pay the full annual membership balance upfront. Financing can add thousands in charges, and month-to-month payment is unavailable unless a contract has been completed and no new one has been entered. Important treatment limitations were not explained before purchase. At my first appointments, I learned that dermaplaning required waiting several weeks before a facial procedure. I was also told that Venus Freeze results required treating the same area for an entire year, despite having specifically asked about the expected timeline. Scheduling is another major issue. Advanced treatments may require 4-6 weeks' notice, while Botox and filler can be 6-8 weeks out. As a Diamond member, weekly wellness shots were a major selling point, especially because I live about an hour away, but Novuskin often cannot coordinate them with my other services. I have paid for shots I struggle to use and have sometimes arrived only to learn that the nurse was unavailable. Treatments I cannot use After 10 months, I have received only four body treatments and three facial treatments despite paying for 10 of each. I schedule months ahead, but family obligations, emergencies, or severe pain can make the two-hour round trip impossible. Even when I request a change two weeks in advance, I am often told there is no availability until my next monthly appointment. I understand that medical requirements may limit treatment frequency, but customers need a reasonable way to pause memberships and use services already paid for. I was told that pausing would only delay billing and that I would be charged for the paused months upon reactivation. I ultimately had to become confrontational before the billing manager agreed not to charge me during the pause. I am paying approximately $600 per month in advance for services I struggle to schedule and use, yet management has shown little concern. Skincare and customer service I purchased several expensive skincare products after discussing my needs with Nina. They smelled pleasant, but I felt less expensive products I already owned performed better. When I returned four barely used products, I was told Novuskin has a no-return policy under any circumstances. After repeated requests, they allowed me to exchange one product to which I was allergic and offered two complimentary service upgrades--services I already struggled to schedule. One collagen gel caused increasing redness and inflammation when used with red-light therapy as instructed. After reviewing the ingredients and stopping that product line, my skin improved within days. During the discussion about my concerns, managers moved me to a back room. Although I understand the desire for privacy, I did not feel heard or that they were genuinely seeking a solution. My overall experience Nearly every visit has brought another problem. I spent thousands hoping to care for myself after years of pain and hardship, but I have repeatedly felt that my concerns were minimized and that management was unwilling to provide reasonable solutions. As a Diamond VIP member, I have often felt more like an inconvenience than a valued customer. Before committing, carefully review the membership terms, treatment availability, cancellation and pause policies, and skincare return policy. Do not purchase expensive products without researching the ingredients and return policy. I hope Novuskin improves its communication, scheduling flexibility, customer service, and membership policies. There are talented, compassionate people working there, but those positive experiences have been overshadowed by the management and membership structure. Based on my experience, I would not purchase another membership.

I'm pretty particular about who I see for bodywork, and honestly, a last-minute appointment with someone I didn't know wasn't an option for me. But I ended up really enjoying the Aescape. I told Jeremy I could probably only do 15-30 minutes, and he set it up for a full hour and told me to just go as long as I could and pause it whenever I needed to leave.
