I waited until around 5 days post facial to write this review…read more --First, I got very lucky with my timing b/c I asked for a facial literally right after she had a cancellation so I got in next day. But otherwise, expect to book 4-6 weeks out. --Follow her easy to understand email instructions to confirm your appointment by text, and also show up 10 mins early to appointment. That's not too much to ask. --I am 40 and have never had a facial before so I don't have anything to compare this to. --I was surprised by how fun this experience was. Really pleasant and entertaining conversation. I felt like I made a real friend. --Viktoria asks some prelim questions about products you use and medicines you take. You change into a towel robe and the facial begins. I arrived at 3:50 and walked out at 5:30. --The extractions weren't that bad but the whole time I kept thinking how blotchy and red my face was going to look. But guess what? It was not blotchy or red at all! No redness whatsoever. She must be magic. --She did steam, extractions, a mask, infrared light, some other electric thing, moisturizer, massaged my head and shoulders, it was all really nice. Cost with tip was less than $100. --It doesn't matter if you go in wearing makeup or not. --Don't plan any workouts post facial- nothing where you'll sweat afterwards. --I have had no breakouts, no peeling, no negative after effects from the facial. My skin looks great. Even my husband said I looked younger. --There was no pressure to come back at any given interval, but I will plan to go every 6 weeks or so. I already booked my return appointment. --I can't think of anything negative to say. Viktoria is really wonderful. The only possible downside I can think of is that due to location, you're not getting the nice spa atmosphere, but it would cost twice the amount at a fancy spa and you'd likely not get anyone as well trained and experienced as Viktoria, so I really recommend Viktoria for a high quality facial at reasonable price.

Very disappointing customer service at the Skin Laundry Plano location. I was only 6 minutes late…read moreto my appointment and was told I would have to reschedule for the next day. What made this even more frustrating was that their website was showing multiple appointment times available that same day, about 30 minutes apart. I would have gladly waited or taken one of those available times, but I was told I couldn't. On top of that, the two ladies working at the front desk were not friendly and came across as rude and unwelcoming. There was no attempt to be understanding or offer a reasonable solution. I understand having a late policy, but being only six minutes late and then being told to come back the next day--while multiple appointments were visibly available that same day--felt extremely inflexible and inconvenient. For a business focused on customer service, I expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, the customer service at this location really left a bad impression.

I am very selective about my skincare regiment, my skin is very sensitive. I tried her Omakase offering and trusted her to design an experience that would target my problem areas and ultimately leave my skin looking refreshed, glowing, hydrated, and healthy. She was outstanding, a true professional, and I was over the moon with the results. I was so relaxed I even fell asleep during the process. I don't wear foundation and was wondering if I needed to mitigate the redness I had started experiencing as an adult. I had been inquiring about this for some years back home in Cali and couldn't find a solution. She had one, which I am touting as my new miracle cover up from Dr. Schrammek. We also chatted about my future skincare routine and she shared some of her products with me. What I loved most about her personal approach is that she wasn't trying to sell me on it, it evolved out of a conversation about my existing products that I initiated. She explained to me her process and what she looks for in her product development and it's aligned with what I am looking for. I need to run through my current line up and will be purchasing directly from her in the future. I will be back in Texas a few more times next year and plan to stop by for the Omakase. Thank you again Hiromi!
