AMAZING! From the moment we walked in Beyond Appearance, we were welcomed by their friendly staff. The atmosphere was peaceful and intimate. Lovely fresh flower arrangements adorned every room. High praise is not enough to describe the HydraDermie Lift facial with Mari Thomas. Mari's skilled and soothing hands pampered my skin. The HydraDermie Lift facial was the most outstanding facial I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Mari compared before and after on one side of my face. The micro-currents of the facial lifted and gave my skin an overall smoother appearance. It was astounding! I can't wait to have one again for more dramatic results. Sandy, the makeup artist, applied GloMinerals makeup. She explained all the products she used. She taught me how to draw out my deep-set eyes. The end result was natural and flattering. It was a "girls spa day" for me and my friends. Some of the other ladies were in the capable hands of Mojca. They raved at the results. My friends and I had a wonderful day of pampering and left feeling blessed. Would high recommend Mari and Beyond Appearance Skincare Salon for your special day. Can't wait to return. read more

I get facials all the time. I used to get them extremely often because I had horrible acne and combination skin that was always in need of some extra work. However, now I just get them to pamper myself and hydrate my skin. Every facial I have ever gotten would leave me breaking out for days on end afterwards. I felt like my face should be flawless and glowing after a facial and I got the complete opposite. With Alexis this was no issue at all. My face truly was glowing and I am writing this exactly a week later and it still is. My face is the most hydrated and soft it has EVER been. She also read my mind and said "I am using this product so you do not breakout afterwards" and I had not even mentioned that I used to breakout all the time, after every facial. BLESS HER SOUL. She did 2 masks on me and one smelled like chocolate while the other smelled like marshmallows so how could it get better than that? Alexis was extremely diligent, knowledgable about the products, and made sure to give me an individualized treatment. The salon is kept extremely sanitized and the decor is gorgeous and relaxing too. I would highly recommend this place and Alexis! read more

I highly recommend Beyond Appearance Skin Care! I highly recommend booking with Ana V. She is very kind, and very passionate in her work. She made me feel comfortable during the process of my Lash lift and eyebrow lamination. Ana is very attentive to her work and her priority is to make you feel comfortable, confident and pretty. She also took the time to explain how to take care of my eyebrows, she truly cares about her clients. She did such a beautiful job on my eyebrows, I have received many compliments! I love my eyebrows! I feel very pretty. Also, the owner, is very kind as well. Again, I highly recommend this place, they do such an amazing job, and they are very attentive. This was my first experience having this type of work done, and my first time there, I fell in love with their office! Everyone was nice! Also my eyelashes are stunning! I will come again. Book with Ana! read more

Fabulous!!...... I went with several friends to Mari's salon, "Beyond Appearance Skin Care". We had a " Girl's Day Out" and we were treated like royalty. The staff was very professional and made our experience a day to remember. The HydraDermie Lift facial was very relaxing and refreshing. Once you have had a facial at Beyond Appearance you will want to make this a part of your monthly routine. Also we enjoyed having our make-up applied by Sandy. She is a wonderful make-up artist and explains her use of the GloMineral products as she is applying them. Sandy is an expertise in knowing how to apply make-up so that it will bring out your strong features. You are in good hands with Mari, Mojca & Sandy. Together they make up a great team and aim to make you feel very special. read more

I have been going to Mari for a few years now and cannot say enough good things about her, her staff, or her salon! I am very picky about my skin care and have had many facials in the past. This is by far the best service and I would recommend it to anyone. A friend referred me to Mari and I have been going to her ever since. I now buy a series of facials from Mari to use throughout the year to remain consistent with my skincare. She is very knowledgeable, thorough, and I really notice the results in my skin after my treatments. They also offer an array of other services, such as eyebrow wax and tint which I have also been very happy with. Both of my children have gone to one of the other aestheticians for teen facials and were very happy as well! read more

I've had acne problems for 10 years, and I started seeing Ms. Mari for it when I was in high school. I've been to a few estheticians over the country while I was away at school, but I haven't had the treatment that Ms. Mari gives. Not only is she gentle and kind-hearted, but God has blessed her hands! I'll leave her office knowing my face is going to be radiant for the next few weeks, confident rather than embarrassed by any acne. She stays up-to-date on the newest treatment options. And her massages just about ALWAYS put me to sleep. She has a gift, and she's using that gift to teach others as well. Great atmosphere, sweet staff, lovely music, marvelous products. read more

Lili is the best aesthetician ever! I initially came in with problematic acne skin, and Lili formulated a long-term plan that is tailored just for me. Previously, I was accustomed to aggressive facials with seemingly endless extractions -I put up with the pain because I thought it was the only way to resolve my issues. I never believed a painless approach would work, but Beyond Appearance's methods are so gentle yet effective, I only needed extractions on my first visit and I haven't needed them since! I always leave my appointments with glowing skin and absolutely no down time. read more

I got the Hydradermie facial by Alexis, and it was wonderful. My skin was severely congested and in the middle of a break out- I had to do something so it wouldn't get worse. My facialist was very cool I usually hate talking during services (it's my time to relax, what can I say?) but I talked to her during most of the treatment. Very gentle extractions and she knew what she was doing. Pricey, but there's less expensive options they offer and it was worth it. Only "bad part" was half my lashes melting off from the steam and I looked silly walking out of there lol read more

I was greeting and hand my hands sanitized and temp checked upon entering and they man at the front desk was so polite and welcoming. for them to have such good pricing they didn't look discount at all. He handed me color books to go through instead of gesturing to a wall. I was served two drinks they weren't strong but it was a nice touch. Kasey dipped my nails fast and neatly and she was very nice. They don't talk too much which is nice if your trying to relax. They work fast and efficiently. I will definitely be back. read more

I recently scheduled a facial at Beyond Appearance Skin Care to combat the issues I was experiencing with my skin routine and clarity. Alexis completely blew me away with her knowledge, professionalism, and etiquette as she brought my skin back to life. She was so sweet and personable- that it was like getting serviced by a friend. I will definitely be back and we discussed creating a regimen that includes services and products from this salon. Highly recommended! read more

I had such an amazing experience at Beyond Appearance Skin Care Salon. The staff was very welcoming and the atmosphere was tranquil and peaceful. My HydraDermie Lift facial by Mojca was awesome and Sandy did an awesome job on my makeup for an event I had later that evening! I was there with other ladies for a "mini spa day" and the other ladies were in the capable hands of Mari and were also very pleased with their results. Would highly recommend this salon! read more
