I really did not want to write this review but I went ahead and booked a virtual consultation a couple months back for what turned out to be melasma, which I have never experienced until shortly after I turned 39 years old. After having a virtual consult I was then put on a regimen of HQ and retinol among other skincare products that were recommended (my skin didn't really tolerate HQ too well) and this regimen seemed to have helped my skin for the time being, but then something horrible happened to the melasma on my face!! My skin has darkened to the point I can barely cover it with makeup ( I literally cry when I look at my face in the mirror because of how dark the HQ has made the melasma on my face. I don't even know how to reverse this damage and I feel so hopeless because now it seems I have to pay hundreds if not thousands of dollars to correct this skin issue that was never this bad. I was told to buy more products which cost hundreds of dollars to now correct this reaction. I wish there was more caution or emphasis on how delicate HQ can be for someone's skin! read more

Welcome / person attending to the front desk was great! My issue however, is with my assigned technician / provider. She had the typical courteous attitude but could improve. 1) I had a scarf on to put my hair out of the way but she removed it anyways. My hair got caught in the Velcro head band. 2) I'm anemic and get cold easily - the room was cold. During treatment, she forgot to bring a 2nd blanket and giggled about it. I could not wait to finish. 3) Towards the end, I felt a bit rushed. After treatment, I was trying to compare another product before making any purchase. On my way out of the room, already off the treatment bed / by the door, she stated, "I don't mean to rush you but I have another appointment." This is quite rude by the way, in a very polite way. Thanks for making me feel serviced! Funny she had time to pick out products for me to buy. I guess this was more important than whatever inquiry I was trying to address after treatment. 4) I found facial product in my hair when I got home. I voiced some concerns to the person at the front desk, who apologized and gave a coupon for my next visit. Thing is, I don't see myself returning due to my initial experience. Coupon is a great gesture though but the disservice cannot be undone. And I am not getting a $300 facial because I care for a discount. I normally don't wash my face after a facial because I want the products to sip into my skin overnight. Well I washed my face after this one - go figure! :-) read more

ZO skincare has changed my life. I used to love love obagi products and there are some ZO products that don't necessarily work the best with my skin (sunscreen), but I do love majority of their products. I'm from out of town, so I'm part of their membership. At $150, you can pick a hydra facial, microneedling, and some other facial...and you also get a dermaplane session free. There's additional percentages off cool sculpting, etc. For a professional and medical grade skin care line with top machines and products, this is a steal. I've seen Kerry for the past two months. She's extremely kind, patient, and very extremely thorough with her work. She gave me the best dermaplane I've ever had (completely hairless and baby smooth skin). She throws in a couple of extras like a nice mask to cool down your skin, and other small things! I love how transparent she is with ZO products and I don't feel like I'm being pressured into buying stuff--which is great. I've got really bad skin, and I just started doing microneedling...so I will update after three-ish treatments (when I should start seeing some results from my ice pick and boxcar scars). I'm obsessed with Zo Skin Centre Dallas! I've been seeing Kerry for 6+ months now for monthly hyrdrafails + microneedling & dermanplaning. She very much knows her SKIN stuff & my results have been amazing. I've tried many other spas in the DFW area, but Zo is my hands down favorite. I love Kerry and Zo so much that I've been driving all the way from Fort Worth to continue to see her!! No one else touches my skin. Note: I am huge fan of the Zo Skin product line as well, but have never once felt pressured to purchase items pre/post treatment. This is huge - because most spas/derms love the upsell.. I find it tacky most of the time! Zo/Kerry does a great job of educating you and finding what's best for your skin + routine. Additionally, I get my microblading done by Amber & she is the best of the best. She has great attention to detail and makes sure your brows are PERFECT. I will continue to see her FOREVER. Lastly, a well deserved shoutout to Hailey for the best customer service & scheduling help. I found out about ZO from Yelp and I thought I'd try it out since it's less than 10 minutes away from me and also I wanted a great experience with my hydrafacial leading up to my wedding next month. Gina was so sweet and really got to know what products I used and also my primary skin concerns. She gave me some ways to improve my regimen and throughout the facial, she also talked about what she was doing to my skin. She was super thorough with extractions and I tried the lip and eye perks which she also explained to me their benefits. One of my family members went there and they payed over $2800 for a 4 sessions of a "PRF", but there was no change or any results. That is what they said also they said "you will see the results after 3 months", that was very untrue. The nurse that gave them the injection was unexperienced and didn't know what she was doing or talking about. I believe that they are trying to scam people for money also there were false advertising the treatment. I don't recommend this place there are better places. This deserves a one star! read more
