Karen, my injector, did a wonderful job guiding me through the process. She helped balance out the evenness in my lips and gave me exactly what I told her! I also love that I payed everything upfront before getting them done. At another med spa I had been to you pay after and are required to tip. Obviously I would tip, but with laser away its all up front which is great! The only thing that I feel like LaserAway could have is music while patients are getting their lips done/other procedures. I came in for a tattoo removal and filler consultation, was very clear about what I wanted, and was assured they could deliver exactly that. Based on their confidence, I paid upfront for tattoo removal and 3 syringes of filler. Right after the first tattoo removal session, I was told the tattoo removal wouldn't work because of the ink color -- something they absolutely should've mentioned before selling me a package. With the filler, I was only given half a syringe (with no explanation until after I paid), the filler was placed wrong and was injected on the inside of my mouth as opposed to around the lips where it's supposed to go. It was done in small section so you could see where the product was and wasn't. I was told that it would need to be dissolved because I had a bad reaction- I've been getting filler for years, but again trusted them, so I got it dissolved and came back. When I returned to get the rest, they told me they'd thrown it out because "they can't store it so I need to purchase more" Again -- never disclosed until it was too late. I asked for a refund and was told several times it was being processed, but months went by with no response. I followed up constantly, stayed patient and respectful, and was either ignored or brushed off. Finally, someone from their national office called me -- he was rude, aggressive, and sarcastic from the second I answered. When I asked him not to talk over me, he paused for a full minute just to say, "Just wanted to make sure you were done before I was allowed to speak." Then he hung up on me when I address his behavior. I spent thousands of dollars here and got nothing I was promised. Now I have no thousands of dollars in credits that I will never use. They lie to make the sale, botch you, dodge accountability, and treat you like an inconvenience if you ask questions. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. I never wanted to embarrass myself by sharing photos of my lips, but want to help anyone else who is considering going here. Very disappointing experience with LaserAway. The treatment we agreed on was changed after I signed the contract. When I went for my injection, they told me this was not the treatment we had agreed on and that I should speak with the Rockwall location. The first filler injection was done by a technician, not a nurse, and after the injection I experienced pain, bruising, and a problem with the vein in my lip. They dissolved the filler later, but then refused to refund my money and told me I would have to buy another injection instead. They kept sending me back and forth between locations and corporate with no real solution. This caused me stress, financial loss, and physical deformation. Because of this experience, I am now pursuing legal action. I strongly advise people to avoid them. read more

They tie you in with the promise that you get 90% discount for touch ups and when you book them, it's more expensive than the initial price. I had my upper forearms done 8 times in one year. They "offered me" a 75% discount which still resulted in $220 per session, each session lasting 5 (five) minutes. Imagine without "discount"! A year later I got a re-growth of ~80%. I book the so-called touch ups and am told I'm eligible to 50% discount, making them more expensive than the initial sessions. I say: what about the 90% being promised. They asked me who offered me that? I tell them exactly whom and they say: she no longer works with us, she was in no position to make those offers. Such a scam!!! The sales team called me non stop trying to sell me promotional cool sculpting prices. They quoted me for 16 paddles which I was hesitant to buy that many but they said I could get a refund if I didn't use them all. I only was able to use 5 and now I can no longer get ahold of anyone for the refund. I've been trying to get a refund for the other 11 paddles for over 2 months and they keep saying someone will call me. They have refused to refund the correct amount (difference of $2k) because they said refunding takes away the promotion so now I've bought something full price without my consent. The nurse also tried to hook me up again to the cool sculpting machine after I had a thermal reading. She only didn't because I told her that's not allowed for atleast 24 hours. She could have caused me to have permanent IRREVERSIBLE DAMAGE and FROSTBITE to my chin if I didn't stop her. This company is money hungry and don't train the nurses correctly. The sales reps have no actual experience and will lie to you so they can make their commission. read more

UPDATE: I reached out 12/9/24 but my representative (Debra) will not accept my call. After I allow it to ring a few times the phone line disconnects and hanging up, I called back same thing keeps happening. This never happened before I requested a refund. Scam. BEWARE. My representative neglected to provide clarity about NO REFUNDS. LaserAway reserves the right to cancel your service for any reason at anytime but would not provide a refund after I changed my mind before my first scheduled appointment. On 11/29/24 I reached out to LaserAway and they recommended a procedure to remove a sun spot from my face. My representative encouraged me to call back anytime reach out to her with any questions or concerns. On 12/4/24, I contacted LaserAway to inquire more about my sun spot removal. Then on 12/5/24 I made a follow-up call with my representative. I requested a refund after getting more information concerning my medical needs but was told I can not get a refund as there is a NO REFUND policy in the electronic registration that was signed. I was directed to the electronic document that I signed on 11/29/24. This was not discussed at anytime while we went over the agreement in the virtual meeting over the phone. I was not told I could not cancel and get a refund if I changed my mind before receiving the service. My representative stated their refund policy was discussed at the point she stated "you can exchange it for any other service if you change your mind". However, she failed to mention or clarify that meant it is nonrefundable at the point of payment until AFTER I requested a refund. The electronic registration is long and difficult to process during the fast pace of the virtual consultation. I believe this is false and/or misleading practices about the refund policy. After I requested a refund I was sent a link with the refund policy stating all sales are final. Also I was also told during the registration the sun spot removal services provided by in Groupon suppliers who don't use medical grade equipment or have actual nurses like LaserAway. However, the following day I spoke with laser provider on Groupon who stated her company does use medical grade equipment and provide medical grade similar to LaserAway. I was denied a refund before receiving any treatment. I have contacted the financing company to dispute the charges as I am on a payment plan and awaiting to hear back from them. I feel very uncomfortable being pushed into getting a service I am no longer interested and/or feel uncomfortable with and requested a refund of my $299 down payment and cancellation of my $2,000 loan. My representative, stated she would have to put in a claim but there was no guarantee I will get a refund. She stated it would take up to 7 days to hear back from her about my complaint for a refund. I've used laser clinics for 20 years (not exaggerating), and have had experience with around 5 clinics with all good experiences, since I choose carefully. LaserAway is the worst experience I've ever had. The laser treatments were not effective, and then it took too much back-and-forth to ask them to review the situation in order to get them to agree to put the machine on a proper setting for an effective treatment. The nurses who treat you are really nice, but bound by large corporate rules, which clearly bothered them as much as it would the customer. The prices honestly do not seem that low, especially for what you get (ineffective treatments, more hassle time spent on your part). Honestly I was not looking for cheapest because I believe you get what you pay for, but in this case I felt like you pay for what you didn't get. In the end, a rude experience with a snarky front staff member made it so that I'll never return. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, period. read more

i hate to do this but it's my truth. i was a returning costumer until this. i recently made a plan with laseraway for coolsculpting and decided to go to them first instead of other clinics since i had gotten other procedures done with them. i've gotten multiple sessions of laser hair removal and wasn't disappointed with my results. i did think it was a little overpriced but i did not do that much research because i had a reference but i wish i had. especially now. i trusted them again and now i regret it. i have been interested in coolsculpting for a while and started to do research on my own. i put in a request for a consultation and they got back to me pretty fast no complaints there but once i got on a call with a representative they were extremely stern on making the sale on me. i ended up folding thinking i got a good deal.. but turns out they will just end up throwing it back to my face later on. i did the plan of 16 cycles, 4 sessions for a total of $4,000. i did and went in for 8 cycles and ended up figuring out it wasn't for me anymore and i did not want to continue my plan. i called twice and waited for a response back in trying to get a refund. i am happy to pay for what i did get (2,000 worth). but since i no longer wanted to continue i politely asked if i could drop out and receive a refund for the rest of the 2,000. they did not and are not willing to refund me. their excuse is that they gave me a 50% off promotion. sending me a receipt that the original amount would be $8,400 for 4 sessions.. now they're only offering me that money (2,000) in store credit. i do not want store credit i want a refund for something i no longer want anymore. i called the lender (patientfi) since i did get a payment plan. they told me that they would send a dispute but it almost immediately, same day, came back with it being denied by laseraway and giving the same excuse that i got the 50% off promotion and i'm technically paying for what i already got. the 2 sessions of 8. it's really disappointing since we should be basing it off what they charged me and not the $8,400 they would've apparently charged me without the promotion. it's hard to believe it really costs that much, online saying the average cost for CoolSculpting treatment is $3,200, according to the CoolSculpting website. However, a survey of over 5,000 patients on RealSafe found a price range of $700 to $6,600, with an average cost of $2,709. later found a lot of other reviews of people dealing with the same thing and it's sad to see so many others struggling with the same problem of laseraway being overpriced and struggling to get refunds. i'm only writing this review in hopes to help other people in not getting pressured during a consultation to go ahead and book. i wish i would've had more time to think about it and do more research on other clinics since now i'm having to deal with not being able to get a refund for sessions i don't plan on getting anymore. hope this is helpful for anyone. thank you for reading. read more

Total scam in my opinion. I will file a complaint with the Texas Attorney Generals office and Texas medical Board. This review is based on 8 sessions of laser hair removal treatments taking one year to complete. Not sure where to start...scheduling is inconvenient for 3 areas - legs, underarm, Brazilian. Front desk will say they don't have any appointments Bec they need 1 hour for the three areas. So even scheduling 6 weeks out is challenging. Nothing available. During your visit they are typically on time. The 8 treatments costed $4,000. Sometimes I was in and out and dressed in the car in under 20 minutes...why is it so hard to schedule when the appointment is 20 min. Not an hour. It's less than 30 min.....after 1 year visiting every six weeks like clock work results are laughable. On treatment #6 I asked for a partial refund for the 2 sessions that had not been performed. They in no way were willing to work with me...."just wait. You will see the results"...again unhappy and unwilling to do anything to work with me. Every time it's a different technician, a different excuse of why you don't see results. After 8 treatments that took a year to complete...unhappy. Again laughable results. Now say come in for an assessment....I did just that. Never heard a word. Not even a no. Just wasted more of my time. Why tell me you will assess if I'm fact I never heard back?? I paid for a package in 2018 and had a total of 10 sessions but unfortunately my tattoo is still very much visible. With every session the intensity of the machine would go up and down which concerned me but I am not the "professional". I even took the recommendations of spacing out the sessions.
