I just had a Brazilian laser for the first time here and it was great!! This is something that I wished I would have done years ago!! One a scale of one to 10 with 10 being excruciating , it was 2/3! The atmosphere is clean, posh, and minimalistic which I love! One star off because my appointment was at 12:45 but didn't start until 1. It was super quick and was out by 1:15! My laser tech/nurse was great, explained everything she was going to do, checked in with me as it was happening, and made small talk to make me feel comfortable. So much so that I requested her for next time. The parking is a little tough but I was pleasantly surprised when I was making my next appointment, the young lady at the desk texted me the address for the underground parking they offer! I had a very disappointing experience with Priscilla at the front desk. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment, there was a long line of guests waiting to be assisted, and she was moving extremely slowly, taking several minutes with each person. By the time it was my turn, she informed me that I was past my appointment time and would need to reschedule. Naturally, the delay occurred because I was waiting in line to be checked in. She then suggested that I should have done something to get her attention, implying that the situation was my fault. This was frustrating and unprofessional. I purchased a Groupon package of 6 treatments with SEV, and sadly I believe that I got what I paid for. I was out of the country for an extended time between my 5th and 6th treatments, and when I shaved my bikini area prior to my 6th treatment I realized that I was covered with hair. Covered. So granted I didn't do the 6th treatment but I'll estimate that after the first 5 treatments my hair reduction has been about 50%. During my very first treatment they told me that they want me to understand that the process isn't permanent and further paid treatments will likely be required. However now I see that there are places that guarantee permanent results at no additional cost. The staff was always professional and courteous, so that's why two stars instead of one. read more

I wanted to share my experience with Sev Laser here in Dallas. After moving recently, I was on the lookout for a new laser hair removal spot and saw a sponsored ad on Instagram offering a free treatment on a small area for new clients. I booked my appointment for today at 12:05. I arrived just 7 minutes late, and initially the front girl told me to please be seated and that the nurse would call me in. Then she asked my name again and immediately said I was late with no grace period and could only come back at 3:30. Keep in mind, I drove over 30 minutes to get there, and driving back and forth just didn't make sense. I explained that the parking and the location itself were confusing--I had accidentally entered the west tower before realizing Sev Laser was in the east tower. The front desk staff seriously need better training on how to handle minor issues like being 7 minutes late and how to address customers professionally. This could've been handled way better. The free treatment was only going to take about 10 minutes, so rescheduling me hours later felt ridiculous. I ended up telling the front desk girl to cancel my appointment completely. I was really looking forward to becoming a long-term client, but after this experience, I won't be coming back. Even my friends who are clients at this location have decided to stop going after hearing how I was treated. I was unjustly denied service for my appointment scheduled August 18, 2023, at 11:10 a.m. I took Iron pills Tuesday morning at 8:00 a.m. From Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. to Friday morning at 11:10 a.m. is over 75 hours. As indicated by your attached policy, a patient should not have taken "iron supplements for 72 hours before and after" the laser appointment. As previously stated, 75 hours had passed since ingesting iron supplements to the time of my scheduled laser appointment. I tried to explain this at the Uptown SEV laser location, however, I was still unjustly denied service. Moreover, I was unjustly penalized by having a session taken from me, a $105 value. read more

Had a terrible experience with Coco Lowenfield! Have been a repeat client for years and now the whole Sev brand is ruined because of her! She insisted that there is citric acid in my facewash and that I would get facial scarring because of it. I told her it was an inactive ingredient and this is an all natural facewash that I haven't even used in 48 hours (as the instructions state not to use any products 48 hours before your session). I also told her I have been using the face wash for years and have done at least 7 sessions on my face at Sev and other technicians had no issue. She said I was just "lucky" and then she also conveniently forgot the other body parts I was supposed to get laser until I demanded her to do it. She is uneducated, untrained, and a blemish on your company's name. read more

The technician that performed my laser appointment was so unprofessional during my appointment I could not believe it. I've been here plenty of times and have never experience a situation like this. The technician literally cut my face multiple times with a sharp pen or marker she used to outline my face. I have scratches on my face and chin. When I reached out Sev in regards to incident. They were not empathetic at all. They told me they wanted to investigate the situation after I've already sent them pictures. To be honest I have very smooth skin and just had a facial the day before so I know those marks were not there before my appointment. However, I was exactly 6 minutes late to my appointment and the front desk attendant turned me away. The procedure I was getting done was projected to take 5 mins to complete by their own estimation. I just finished my seventh session and now feel I can give a thorough review. The staff here is always incredibly friendly and they run on time. I did have one appointment cancelled as I pulled into the parking lot due to the machine going down, but they got me in a few days later. You definitely need to book in advance, about 6-8 weeks beforehand. I got laser hair removal and it was not painful at all. The laser increases in intensity each session and the last two are the only ones I felt anything. Definitely nothing compared to waxing and they have some cooling mechanism so you don't even feel heat with the laser. I have the "ideal factors" for getting laser hair removal and this seventh session may be the last I need. I bought a Groupon originally which covered my first six sessions so the value is amazing if this is indeed the last one I need. Any-who, I finally mustered up some courage to make an apt. When you make the apt you have a lot of terms and conditions to agree to. Not just because of COVID, but just to understand your body. They ask questions about if you're taking antibiotics, if you've been in the sun, if you do chemical peels, if you do waxes and more. The actual apt. My fiance drove me as I was worried about parking. It's downtown and it was about 5-6pm. Still not really sure where I'd park in the future as on that actual street doesn't appear like there's any parking. Walked in and was asked to sanitize my hands as well as provide my ID. I was a tad early, but they were still running behind on my appointment. Staff was super friendly, everything was clean, candles were lit, just a great ambiance overall. When I did get called back, she too was super. Explained to me the process, went over the same items that were covered in the paper work (chemical peels, waxes, and etc) which is awesome bc I was able to ask questions this time. I had lotion on my face, so she had me wipe it off with an alcohol pad and then I laid down to begin the process. Yall, it literally took all of 5mins. Not an ounce of pain OR discomfort. She walked me through it the entire time so I knew what was going on.. "4 zaps here, 4 zaps here, two more, ok we're done!"
