I just had a Brazilian laser for the first time here and it was great!! This is something that I wished I would have done years ago!! One a scale of one to 10 with 10 being excruciating , it was 2/3! The atmosphere is clean, posh, and minimalistic which I love! One star off because my appointment was at 12:45 but didn't start until 1. It was super quick and was out by 1:15! My laser tech/nurse was great, explained everything she was going to do, checked in with me as it was happening, and made small talk to make me feel comfortable. So much so that I requested her for next time. The parking is a little tough but I was pleasantly surprised when I was making my next appointment, the young lady at the desk texted me the address for the underground parking they offer! Loved that!! Oh an to my brown skin ladies if you are curious, We in HERE! I saw 3 other ladies during my visit at SEV getting services so that made me feel comfortable too! Love SEV but hate this location. I just moved to dallas happy to be closer to a SEV near me, unfortunately the service at the Frisco location is so much better that I will still be making that 40 min drive. I don't care too much about the customer service 'vibe' because... it's laser. BUT when I walked in there was no one at the desk, then after 5 min someone walked out and said 'you can check yourself in on the iPad' then left again. I had questions about my appointment because my account was acting weird and she told me she couldn't answer them she just does the laser?? This tech was SIGNIFICANTLY more painful than any other laser Appointment I've ever had. And she also didn't care that I was visibly flinching off the table, she didn't test the laser first and ask if it was too strong. I had to stop her and ask her to turn it down. Overall bad bedside manner. Then on the way out, they almost had me pay for someone else's procedure instead of mine ?? And she confirmed I had a package on my account TWICE before I started just to find out that in fact I did not. The Frisco team makes sure I'm overly comfortable and has never messed with my money, so I'll be there instead. read more

I was a SEV customer for about 2 to 3 years. I suffered from inappropriate facial hair growth and was very excited to have a potential solution. In the time that I was at serve, I noticed very inconsistent treatment and very inconsistent messaging on how to care before and after treatment sometimes I would leave an appointment with my hair growth, remaining exactly the same Seeman and other times I would leave and it was a wonderful experience and it would be delayed quite a bit before my next appointment. In my time there, I also had several issues with scheduling appointments with my preferred service provider. Given the inconsistencies I experienced in treatment. I had a strong preference on service provider and really didn't want to spend my money seeing anybody else because anybody else was kind of a waste of money and did not yield results. Frequently, I would accommodate the service providers schedule and not be notified when she was unexpectedly unavailable or their schedule changed and she wasn't scheduled for my appointment. Driving to downtown Dallas is kind of a pain in the butt, and it was very inconsiderate and unacceptable when I'm very specific about who I need to see to be able to continue to support their business for them to not reach out and notify me and give me the opportunity to cancel. On a couple occasions when this occurred and I refused service to reschedule the office staff still charged my account for the service that was never performed even though the reason it wasn't performed was their own shortcomings. Additionally, I had a package for full face and front of neck, Services and somehow both of those packages depleted at the same time almost when I had only used front of neck a couple of times so I was being inappropriately billed for services I also did not receive just because I had chosen to pre-pay one of their packages. I've stopped using SEV and have moved to another provider in the area. I never like to leave bad reviews for businesses because I understand sometimes situations can be more of a reflection of their employee or how they're feeling that day so I chose to wait about six months from when I terminated my relationship with SEV to process this. Still after this time has passed I feel that the issues I experienced were consistent, with multiple employees, and more of a reflection of the business rather than an individual employee. I'm extremely disappointed with how my appointment was handled today. My appointment was scheduled for 3:05 PM, and at 3:09 PM only FOUR minutes later. I received an automated text saying I had missed my appointment and needed to reschedule. The frustrating part is that I was literally in the parking garage parking my car when the cancellation text came through. I had also followed the detailed parking instructions SEV sent me, which explained which underground garage to use, where to enter, what gate/kiosk to look for, where to park, and which elevator to take to reach the office. I immediately called and explained that I was downstairs parking and was only four minutes past my appointment time. I was told there is no grace period whatsoever and that my appointment had already been canceled. There was no attempt to accommodate me, even after I explained that I had driven an hour to get there and was already on the property. I completely understand businesses needing policies to keep their schedules running on time. But canceling a client's appointment four minutes after the scheduled time, especially while they are navigating the parking instructions YOUR business provided, feels unnecessarily rigid and extremely poor customer service. Had the appointment reminder clearly stated, "There is absolutely no grace period; if you are not physically inside the office at your exact appointment time, your appointment will be canceled," I could have planned accordingly. Instead, I drove an hour, arrived at the location, followed their parking instructions, and was turned away over four minutes. I'm not upset that a business has policies. I'm upset by the lack of reasonable communication, grace, and customer service surrounding that policy. This was an incredibly frustrating experience and a complete waste of my time. read more

I had a very disappointing experience with Priscilla at the front desk. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment, there was a long line of guests waiting to be assisted, and she was moving extremely slowly, taking several minutes with each person. By the time it was my turn, she informed me that I was past my appointment time and would need to reschedule. Naturally, the delay occurred because I was waiting in line to be checked in. She then suggested that I should have done something to get her attention, implying that the situation was my fault. This was frustrating and unprofessional. I purchased a Groupon package of 6 treatments with SEV, and sadly I believe that I got what I paid for. I was out of the country for an extended time between my 5th and 6th treatments, and when I shaved my bikini area prior to my 6th treatment I realized that I was covered with hair. Covered. So granted I didn't do the 6th treatment but I'll estimate that after the first 5 treatments my hair reduction has been about 50%. During my very first treatment they told me that they want me to understand that the process isn't permanent and further paid treatments will likely be required. However now I see that there are places that guarantee permanent results at no additional cost. The staff was always professional and courteous, so that's why two stars instead of one. read more

I wanted to share my experience with Sev Laser here in Dallas. After moving recently, I was on the lookout for a new laser hair removal spot and saw a sponsored ad on Instagram offering a free treatment on a small area for new clients. I booked my appointment for today at 12:05. I arrived just 7 minutes late, and initially the front girl told me to please be seated and that the nurse would call me in. Then she asked my name again and immediately said I was late with no grace period and could only come back at 3:30. Keep in mind, I drove over 30 minutes to get there, and driving back and forth just didn't make sense. I explained that the parking and the location itself were confusing--I had accidentally entered the west tower before realizing Sev Laser was in the east tower. The front desk staff seriously need better training on how to handle minor issues like being 7 minutes late and how to address customers professionally. This could've been handled way better. The free treatment was only going to take about 10 minutes, so rescheduling me hours later felt ridiculous. I ended up telling the front desk girl to cancel my appointment completely. I was really looking forward to becoming a long-term client, but after this experience, I won't be coming back. Even my friends who are clients at this location have decided to stop going after hearing how I was treated. I was unjustly denied service for my appointment scheduled August 18, 2023, at 11:10 a.m. I took Iron pills Tuesday morning at 8:00 a.m. From Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. to Friday morning at 11:10 a.m. is over 75 hours. As indicated by your attached policy, a patient should not have taken "iron supplements for 72 hours before and after" the laser appointment. As previously stated, 75 hours had passed since ingesting iron supplements to the time of my scheduled laser appointment. I tried to explain this at the Uptown SEV laser location, however, I was still unjustly denied service. Moreover, I was unjustly penalized by having a session taken from me, a $105 value. read more

She insisted that there is citric acid in my facewash and that I would get facial scarring because of it. I told her it was an inactive ingredient and this is an all natural facewash that I haven't even used in 48 hours (as the instructions state not to use any products 48 hours before your session). I also told her I have been using the face wash for years and have done at least 7 sessions on my face at Sev and other technicians had no issue. She said I was just "lucky" and then she also conveniently forgot the other body parts I was supposed to get laser until I demanded her to do it. Sev needs to train its technicians better. My recent visit to this establishment will be my last. The technician that performed my laser appointment was so unprofessional during my appointment I could not believe it. I've been here plenty of times and have never experience a situation like this. The technician literally cut my face multiple times with a sharp pen or marker she used to outline my face. I have scratches on my face and chin. When I reached out Sev in regards to incident. They were not empathetic at all. They told me they wanted to investigate the situation after I've already sent them pictures. To be honest I have very smooth skin and just had a facial the day before so I know those marks were not there before my appointment. Sev do better with your technicians people do not come to your establishment to have hair removed and cuts replace them. read more

I just finished my seventh session and now feel I can give a thorough review. The staff here is always incredibly friendly and they run on time. I did have one appointment cancelled as I pulled into the parking lot due to the machine going down, but they got me in a few days later. You definitely need to book in advance, about 6-8 weeks beforehand. I got laser hair removal and it was not painful at all. The laser increases in intensity each session and the last two are the only ones I felt anything. Definitely nothing compared to waxing and they have some cooling mechanism so you don't even feel heat with the laser. I have the "ideal factors" for getting laser hair removal and this seventh session may be the last I need. I bought a Groupon originally which covered my first six sessions so the value is amazing if this is indeed the last one I need. The office itself is clean and they ask you to use hand sanitizer coming in and to wear a mask at all times. I'd definitely recommend coming here! read more

What really drew me to them, was the diversity they have on their page. You have all types of body sizes and skin complexions! It's BEAUTIFUL. They really embrace the body. Any-who, I finally mustered up some courage to make an apt. When you make the apt you have a lot of terms and conditions to agree to. Not just because of COVID, but just to understand your body. They ask questions about if you're taking antibiotics, if you've been in the sun, if you do chemical peels, if you do waxes and more. The actual apt. My fiance drove me as I was worried about parking. It's downtown and it was about 5-6pm. Still not really sure where I'd park in the future as on that actual street doesn't appear like there's any parking. Walked in and was asked to sanitize my hands as well as provide my ID. I was a tad early, but they were still running behind on my appointment. Staff was super friendly, everything was clean, candles were lit, just a great ambiance overall. When I did get called back, she too was super. Explained to me the process, went over the same items that were covered in the paper work (chemical peels, waxes, and etc) which is awesome bc I was able to ask questions this time. I had lotion on my face, so she had me wipe it off with an alcohol pad and then I laid down to begin the process. Yall, it literally took all of 5mins. Not an ounce of pain OR discomfort. She walked me through it the entire time so I knew what was going on.. "4 zaps here, 4 zaps here, two more, ok we're done!"
