I love this Day Spa! The entire staff gives quality professional service on my treatments. It's always clean and the music is soothing. I like it also because they know how to space out their appoints, so you're not waiting long and there's not a crowd of waiting to be seen. Most of all, it's only 15 minutes from me. Very Disappointed with this spa, i recently moved to South Dallas and wanted to find my "home away from home" spa near my house. When i arrived i wasn't greeted, but when i was, i was looked at like i didn't belong, come to find out it was the owner that gave me that look. She says beauty is pain and there's beauty in everything. What's a little bit of... hair blasting? After reading the recent reviews, I feel a lot less disgusting than before about the "medical issues" that prevented me from receiving treatment during my initial visit. Apparently, they're just strict about that here so it's them, Not You necessarily. I mean, unless it IS you due to some sort of pre-existing condition(s) that would jeopardize your health and/or theirs. Depends. So I finally got my first treatment today and while it's too early to see any results, I really appreciated the aesthetician's bedside manner. She was totally understanding of my reservations and explained the process patiently and gracefully, without any of the "No duh" attitude that people who know their profession thoroughly sometimes have. I would've appreciated more discretion from the receptionist at the front. It felt like she announced both my price and procedure to the small waiting area. Even if it was positive information (which it wasn't), I wouldn't want the other 3 ladies waiting there to hear, "You paid for a large area Groupon but since you weren't that hairy, we'll only charge you for a medium area." The receptionist seems like a sweet, developing young professional so hopefully she'll take my request for privacy to heart--not just for me but for everyone who comes through there. As an esthetician, I had higher hopes for this place. I work very long hours and very rarely get time to do anything for myself, so when I found out I had a day off, I thought I would spoil myself and go get a facial. I found a Groupon, which I'm not cheap, I would have paid full price for the service but I'm glad I didn't pay full price for THAT facial. I made a 9 am apt the night before online, but it said that my appointment was pending like it wasn't approved, so I woke up the next morning expecting an email that it was approved but nothing, so I called at 8:30am before I left my house to make sure I actually had an appointment to go to but no answer, no call back, so I went ahead and drove up there.. I arrived at 8:45 am bc I had never been there and knew I would have to fill out an intake form.. doors were locked, so I went back and sat in my car until 8:55 am, when I walked in the front desk girl was very nice, 5 stars there, she had me fill out an intake form and offered me something to drink, she was great. My esthetician comes to get me at 9:15.. not super friendly, didn't offer her name, didn't really go over my intake with me, tells me to go ahead and disrobe from the waist up, and get comfortable. So I lay there waiting for her to come back in. When she does, she didn't ask me if I was comfortable or try to make any conversation with me. The facial in its self was just not great. She did not have a calming touch, it felt like she was nervous to touch my face and she gave me a finger tip facial the whole time. Best practice as an esthetician would be to ask your client what products they're using on their skin at home to make sure their products don't have any contraindications.. or at least bc I was a new client, tell me what she was using on my skin and what it does but she literally said nothing the whole time. The facial ended at exactly 10 am.. which was not a full hour, but whatever. And then when she was done, she told me to get dressed and come out when I was ready.. I was expecting for there to be some products that she recommends for my skin or maybe when she would like to see me back.. but nothing, not even a "thank you for coming in, have a good day" nothing. Still never even got her name. Idk if she thought that just bc I was a Groupon customer I wouldn't be a regular or I wouldn't tip her well... but in all honestly, if the experience was better I would be bc it's so close to home, but after today and the way I was treated, it's a hard pass for me. Made an appointment waited until the day was there early and after a bit the Aesthetician to whom I was booked with came in look at me with a photo light said she wouldn't do anything for me and offers me 2 little samples of product and said call back in a few weeks. I was humiliated! I was polite & said no thanks to her samples I apologized for wasting her time and said I was disappointed she wasted mine and ask to have my information removed from their system.. my skin is in menopausal breakout no not horrific and this is how I was treated just so people know this" I felt like a pariah." THIS PLACE DOES NOT DESERVE 1 STAR!!! As a frontline worker i NEVER get time to myself so on my one day off in 2 months i wanted to treat myself to a facial. A patient of mine referred me to Luxe Touch because it was in my area, but also made a disclaimer about the owner saying, "i hope she is in a good mood." and jokingly laughed. Didn't think anything of it... My appointment was at 11:15, being my first time i showed up at 11am. Due to Covid i had to call and let them know i was outside. The lady at the front desk was very polite and asked me to come in to fill out paperwork. (so far so good) Once i got inside she proceeded to give me my paperwork but was ABRUPLY stopped by the owner in a very rude tone and told her NO, she cant be in here right now and she continued to chastise her IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS for doing her job. I just felt so bad for the girl i didn't even want to stay at that point because the girl was almost in tears but she held it together infront of me.( you could tell she was embarrassed) The owner apologized to me in a very dismissive way, but she needed to apologize to her employee. Once i was in my facial i couldn't even relax bc of what i experienced. I brought it up a little with the esthetician and she agreed the owner can be somewhat of a bully not just to her employees but to customers as well. I told her she shouldn't work for someone who mistreats her employees the way i witnessed. Im still shaking from my experience. I don't even remember if i liked the facial because of the owners lack of maturity. DO NOT GO TO THIS GHETTO ESTABLISHMENT!!!! read more

The spa is beautiful and the atmosphere was so relaxing. I was impressed by the professionalism and the staffs knowledge of lasers and skin care. I loved the experience and my skin is glowing. I decided to become a monthly member. I highly recommend women, men, & teens to book an appointment. You will not be disappointed. The owner was so nice and my aesthetician explained the services I received in detail. I have been over 4 times now and never had a bad experience. Initial Review 12/28/16 was "False advertisement. They lure you in with the groupon then when you get there they want you to pay extra for a physical then will tell you they can't remove any moles or skin issues without a clearance letter from your dermatologist saying it's not cancerous. Question, if I see a dermatologist why would i need to drive 35 miles of out the way to get lost because the location is in the absolute worst area and GPS directs to the wrong location to get there and get nothing done. I scheduled my appointment a month prior and I asked the lady on the phone would they be able to remove it and she said yea sure we can remove anything. Not once did she ask have I seen a Dermatologist yet. Not once did she say, we'll need a clearance letter." I'll admit I was angry and frustrated when I wrote this review but after speaking with Kay she was very apologetic and expressed concern that the removal of my skin issues would potentially do more harm than good and due to having a large amount of fibromas and moles covering my body, it would be in my best interest to get cleared from my Physician before removing. Not exactly what I wanted to hear but I understand her concern so I'm changing my review from 1 star to 4 only because of Kay and her empathy for my overall health. I can not speak on their service per se but their customer service and bed side manner is really good. I do recommend having a clearance letter from your doctor for any skin removal procedures and be extremely honest with them regarding your health history. read more

I signed up for their "VIP" package for about 2 years where I was almost seeing them once a month. I had initially came to see them to help remove my sun spots. I initially started with IPL then microneedling and E-matrix. I mostly see Vicky with whom I absolutely adore. Although, my skin texture did improve none of these procedures removed my sun spots but yet I continued to seek their services. At around March 2022, speaking to Kay, who I believe is the owner, I got frustrated as to why taking over a month to get an appointment is the norm. I think Kay was offended by my inquiry and told me they didn't have the capacity to provide earlier appointments and that her staff was already overworked and wouldn't jeopardize their lives by making them work anymore than they already were, which was not my intentions at all. It took a couple of back and forth conversations but Kay's solution was to refund me the 6-month "VIP" membership plus the remainder of the 6-package laser hair removal I had already paid for, less the advance ~$100 tip I had given to Vicky. She also canceled an upcoming laser hair removal appointment I already had. Kay said they have people coming from far and far away just to see them. I was a bit surprised by her decision but I happily obliged. Had this not happened I would have continued seeing them, removed sun spots or not. This forced me to seek another medspa. After just one appointment of Halo and BBL laser treatment my sunspots have disappeared completely and my skin has never looked any better. Although, a little pricey it was still less than the 2 years I spent at Lux being poked and lasered. I must admit the service is great at Lux Touch but I think their equipment is far outdated, to no fault of the beauticians. read more

I tried to book an appointment online (using their scheduling service Vagaro.) I got a confirmation email that my request was received and I would get some sort of notification that my appointment was accepted. A week later I signed onto Vagaro again to see if my appt was accepted and it was not. I called the salon and the young woman asked me to hold the line w/o getting my name. (so I know she wasn't checking into my issue.) After 13 minutes on hold I gave up. I called back and the girl was did not make me feel much better about the long wait time so I just told her I'd find another place.Good grief! read more

Horrible, weird experience. The receptionist or a manager, I don 't know her name got suspicious of me with no reason. I bought groupon for 3 IPL with them. I also needed an estimate for the scars on my back, it is another type of laser. So, I thought if it is a laser center, they can give me the price for another type of laser. I asked them to write it on a paper, then they said I need a physical exam, I need to pay $25 for it. And it is ok. But when I asked them a copy of the physical, that woman went nuts, she was picking up on me like I am doing something illegal. If I pay the money I can ask for a paper. What is wrong with it. She said that people who are coming there don't ask for such things usually. Anyway, It was hard for me to get a day off specifically for this IPL, which I never got, she said that I was cursing and yelling, though I did not do such a thing, trying to get rid of me by any means. Finally she showed me on the door saying that she felt uncomfortable with me. I have never had such a weird experience before. Nut case. Very rude and insane. I sent them an e mail in advance that I want to do the treatment the same very day. They never answered me, I thought they understood what I am asking for. Anyway, they told me they schedule me for consultation only. Hole in the wall with weirdos. Next time I ll go to people whom I know. Groupon is not the best deal always. I am just so sorry that I wasted my day for nothing and drove so far. read more
