Gaylon completed a Brazilian wax and facial for me. Both services were exceptional and informal! I love it when a professional takes the initiative with extra steps of care... in this case, it was educating and announcing what she was doing. It was not my first facial or wax, but it felt good to feel safe in such an intimate space. Thank you read more

Taylor was my tech. It was my first time in a looooooooooong time doing a wax service. I pleaded in my intake form for whoever my tech was to please, please be kind. Taylor was. She had only two conditions (and I wasn't sure I could keep to them, but I did): no kicking and no screaming. She kept me laughing (and, breathing deep when it was appropriate) all through my appointment. I *now* appreciate how thorough she was during the waxing session, but I will not lie; I was trying to negotiate with her about maybe not being such a perfectionist. read more

Brows... Facials... body wax... positive energy.... And relaxation! If you're on the southside come and check this place out! It's in Desoto! I love the timeliness of my appointments and the consistency of the quality of services. I have been seeing Mia consistently and she is very pleasant and does a great job. Dessi is another fav and the owner Candee is so sweet! read more

Love the service here but the price increases are crazy! I get it, it's about the service, quality, etc. But from my first visit about 3-4 years ago to now, there has been a $20 - $25 increase then I still leave a tip. Geesh! read more

This is a nice wax center! They are very professional and timely. I'm not the biggest fan of the wax they use as each visit they go over the same spots many times. However, they are particular and make sure all the hair is gone. Scheduling is easy and they set you up right then and there for your next one. read more

I saw this business advertised on a billboard and decided to try. The first time I went, I had a wonderful experience and my wax was painless and very clean. The second visit, it was pleasant but I was not pleased with the results of my wax, when I got home, I noticed there was still so much hair left behind and I was preparing leave for out of town in a few hours so I couldn't return. Thankfully I have wax at home and I ended up having to clean up what was still there. read more

This was my first Brazilian and I was extremely nervous. I booked with Diamond and it was not nearly as scary as I thought it was gonna be. The first time guest price and friendly staff made the whole experience worth coming back to. Already booked my next appointment! read more

After my previous waxer moved her studio to Fort Worth, I decided to look for another waxer closer to me. A friend of mine recommended Candee Skin and I am so glad she did. After checking out the reviews online, I booked with Taylor for my Brazilian wax. Taylor is very nice and made sure to create a comfortable environment. She is also very thorough and extremely knowledgeable about skincare. When you go in for your first wax, you are eligible for a discounted rate FYI. The front desk staff was very nice and helped me book my next appointment. I am so glad I found Candee Skin and I look forward to going back and trying out their other services! read more

The studio was clean and inviting and the receptionist was pleasant and professional during the check in process! Dessi is simply the best! My first visit and the vibe was indescribable. She made sure I was completely comfortable and knowledgeable during every step of the process. read more

It's five star place cleaning quality customer service. Everything is amazing.I really appreciate

My first time visiting Candee Skin was great! Overtime things have changed honestly and not for the better. The lady with red hair at the front desk definitely takes her job way too seriously and when it comes to accommodating a guest the answer is always no. Give it a try if you want, but money is probably better spent elsewhere. read more

Great Brazilian with Jordan. It had been years since my last experience (that left me traumatized). Jordan help me relax and talked me through the process. Only downside is that I bought a package and within a month, Jordan was not available. I'm going to a different tech but I really felt comfortable with Jordan and hate that I had to switch on my second visit. Otherwise, I do recommend and appreciate the first timer discount. read more

First time guest!!!! Absolutely loved the location, super convenient!!! As soon as you walk in the atmosphere is very welcoming and the aroma is fresh! I was taken care by Nicki, she was extremely knowledgeable and made me feel so comfortable. Talked to me throughout the entire process(Brazilian Wax). I was so pleased with everything that I went ahead and purchased their waxing package for 9 visits! Can't wait to go back! read more

Love Candee Skin!! I started coming here to get waxed when I was pregnant and Candice has always been extremely professional and gentle. She makes the waxing process quick and relatively painless. (If you have zero pain, then you're a strong person lol) I got a Brazilian and an underarm wax; appointment was as 4:20 and I was walking out at 4:38!! She's amazing and I would definitely recommend coming here. She knows what she's doing, great pricing, and makes you feel comfortable. read more

Soooo stinkin excite Candee skin has opened a second location in Rowlett! I was a Desoto client but have recently moved locally so this is perfect for me! This location did not disappoint! I experienced the same professionalism and excellent services that Candee Skin Desoto is known for. Kuddos To Candee and your amazing team! read more

This is a great place to get your wax done! I have been twice now and both times have been smooth (pun intended) and pain free (pun intended again) Staff is friendly and they work quick but do a great job. You can call to make an appointment or make one of the MINDBODY app which is nice and convenient. I won't be going back to my prior waxing establishment. Price is right on point too. read more

Very pleased with the service! Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable! And the price is reasonable

I am so thrilled they opened a location in Rowlett. I was so nervous to get my very first wax but Candee made sure I felt at ease. She was so calm and had a pleasant disposition that was soothing to my soul. I will make sure to spread the word about her services to everyone who will listen! read more

Third time here. I forgot to check in last time. But anyway, Jessica has been a help from the start. I yelped a place.Candee had good reviews for her establishment and so I took a chance. I had no idea who I would get the first time. But I stick with her every time. She worked slow and steady to get my shape back the first time. The second and third time she stuck to it and kept the shape. My tail is slowly growning in for one of my brows. My only issue is she will try to get some of the shorter hairs that was won't grab so she applies wax multiple times. Which I found out today my skin hates me for. So I will have to let her know no more than two applications in one area. I have a small bruise now. Also, easy on the tweezing. My skin is moody but that could be cause nature is visiting soon. Will have to see next time. But aside from that when I leave my brows look like butterflies. read more

Called and made an early appointment so that I could get in and out (busy day). Showed up early and found that the person who booked my appointment over the phone did not book it correctly. I was told I would have to wait. First time experience didn't leave a good first impression with front office organization. As far as the service itself is concerned, I saw Ms. Faith. She was a delight. Positive, upbeat, and knowledgeable. I had never experienced hard wax before and Faith thoroughly explained the differences between soft and hard wax and happily answered other questions I asked around other skin care services. I had lower leg and under arm done. The facility while not posh or "spa-lush" is clean, freshly decorated and in a great location. Private and secluded but not out of the way for the southwest Dallas Resident. HINT: Make sure you schedule your free brow wax on your first visit. Found out that first timers get brow waxed free. I didn't know that and had already had my brows done earlier this week. There are no rain checks offered on that opportunity. If you don't get the brow done the first visit, even if you've never had them done before or don't need them done at that time, you won't get your first brow wax free at Candee's on a subsequent visit. read more

Well, I've been going to Candee and Lakeisha for quite a while now and simply love the service! I love that this slice of heaven is right here in Desoto and serves up nothing but professionalism with every service! Candee has been doing my full leg waxes and Keisha has been doing my lash extensions. I have never once been disappointed! Today, I tried a lash lift for the first time, while on break from my extensions, and I am in love with the look! I will truly be a forever customer at this salon! Thanks so much, ladies!!! read more

I recently went here for a brazilian and I was very impressed! Faith provided my services and she was very nice and comfortable to work with. I would/have recommended everyone to go to her. They use hard wax, which is the only kind of wax I like, and it was very different than I anticipated. My skin was smoother than normal and the pain wasn't as bad as normal. I'm a WTC goer, so Im use to little pain, but this was surprising. 5 stars for their wax alone. Although I used a groupon, I think their prices are affordable. For the type of service, I could definitely see them charging more, but Im not going to complain! Highly recommended place :) read more

All of the staff here are amazing! I enjoy my experience every time I come. The process is always so smooth and relaxing. They educate you on the products they have to help with aftercare! All of the staff her are so beautiful inside and out! I definitely recommend coming here if you are new to waxing (even if you are not!) I am a returning customer and I will never go anywhere else! I usually get waxed by Desi and she leaves me feeling so smooth and beautiful when I leave her hands! Please give Candee skin a try and I promise you you'll LOVE IT! read more

Once again an awesome service with Ms Candace! The shop is doing a great job of sanitizing and cleaning!

So I booked a very last minute trip to Dallas. I had no time to get any grooming done before I left and figured I'd do it in Dallas. Once again, Yelp led me to greatness!!! I LOVED my experience here! First of all, customer service was great. Candice was awesome and very friendly. She was also very knowledgeable and explained everything she was doing. Conversation flowed naturally and took my mind off the wax. I received a Brazilian wax and eyebrow wax. For first time guest, Brazilian waxes are $25 and eyebrow wax is free. $25 for my service today? Wow, what an awesome deal!! My eyebrows look BOMB! I wish I can pack Candice in my suitcase and go back to MD with her. She did an amazing job and I'm so pleased. I'm very picky with my eyebrows but I felt like I could trust her with all the great reviews. Yelp you all were right! My Brazilian wax was not that painful (but I'm used to them anyway). She provided breathing techniques to help minimize the pain and explained everything she was doing. The building is clean and she had good music playing, lol! Anyway, whenever I have a trip planned to Dallas, I will let my hair grow out in order to come back, lol! But I'm serious! I can't wait to move back to Dallas! read more

I love this place to the point that I drive 25-30 minutes from uptown Dallas just to go here. Candice is so professional and remembers every client that she has. She's always asking me how things are and truly cares about her customers. Atmosphere - chic, clean, and quiet. Front desk is friendly and accommodating. I love that I can just call if I have a day off to see if there are any openings. Quality - High quality wax that utilizes no strips. Candice's technique is quick, effective, yet almost painless. Results are smooth as smooth can be and not sticky afterwards with wax spots. Smoother and not irritated the next day and virtually no ingrown hairs. Depending on your service, you'll probably get done in 30 min max. Price - I have only tried the waxing thus far, but it is the best price for the quality that you get. I would like to try out a facial next! read more

For several years have only gone to the European wax center for my wax, so when a friend recommended Candee Skin I was extremely reluctant. However I had gotten tired of the impersonal environment, and so I decided to give her a try. I was SO EXTREMELY impressed with Candee Skin! She was professional, and made me feel so comfortable. I have never had a better Brazilian wax!!! Candice was so detailed and really made sure she kept me informed every step of the way! She even used breathing techniques with me during the uncomfortable parts. I will never be returning to the wax center. For the first time ever I can actually say I can't wait until my next appointment! read more

Today I went to Candee Skin for the first time to get a Brazilian wax. One word: AMAZING! From the time I walked in the door I was impressed. I've been to a couple wax salons but this one by far is my favorite. The atmosphere is so calming and serene. This is how I imagined it would be. Now let's talk about my esthetician! From the moment I walked in Candice was very pleasant but more importantly she is a top notch professional. I went to her for a wax and I couldn't be happier. The wax went by very quickly and it was the least painful waxing I have every had. She talked me through the process and I really appreciated that. I definitely be back for my body scrub! This business is TOP NOTCH excellence. In the middle of a snow/ice storm, the manager is still reaching out and helping clients reschedule. The service I receive and timeliness from Lakeisha is UNMATCHED! I've been to at least 5 different spas in the metroplex and none have been able to compare to the level of service I receive here. The friendliness of the staff, pricing, quality of service and products & timeliness are SUPERB!! read more

Candee made me feel instantly at ease upon meeting her. I've been getting waxed for three years and with recently moving was dreading having to find someone new.
