I originally posted an amazing review of this company because I had an awesome experience. WARNING: Groupon allows you to purchase 3 additional times however; this company REFUSES to accept it unless it's got a new customer. I was told "it's in the fine print".... If this is their rules it should be in BOLD letters before any other wording... not fine print. I then asked if they would put the Groupon price towards a service for me to pay the difference. They again refused. Groupon doesn't allow refunds after 3 days. I asked if this means I just wasted money and I was told "I guess so". What?!?! This is LITERALLY FRAUD. You can't take money from a customers bank account and refuse the services that they paid for. I was then told they haven't been paid I only paid Groupon. MULTIPLE PURCHASES SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED IF YOURE GOING TO REFUSE SERVICES! It doesn't matter that they allow it so you can "gift" it to someone else only. NOT ACCEPTABLE business practice. I came here on a Groupon deal and I really enjoyed my facial today! It was the first I'd had in AGES and I feel so fresh & dewy! I didn't have any specific concerns so I just wanted something relaxing (I specifically asked for no extractions or scalp treatment). The treatments were light and nothing overpowering. The upper body massage was just what I needed - all the way down to my fingers! I'll definitely consider coming back! I will say, the parking situation here is not easy. I've been getting facials over the past few years in LA and recently moved to Dallas looking for a place to go. I found Facelogic through Groupon and decided to try it out as it was the closest spa near me. I would say that the estheticians here seem like they aren't very knowledgeable about how to do facials and don't know much about skin but maybe I haven't received a facial from someone who's skilled at what they do. However, staff is kind but just the lack of skill is an area of improvement in my opinion. I've tried with 3 different girls and my skin got worse after getting it with 2 out of the 3. I bought a package because the first facial I got was pretty good, but she is no longer working there so I tried with two others and it was not good. Most likely won't buy another package unless I find a good esthetician there. Overall, the spa is fairly clean, but there aren't private rooms (it's in an open space with curtains). read more

(Reposting from my post on Facelogic's page) I am a very white white girl. Strawberry blonde, with a burn-then return to ghostly white skin. I've tried tanning booths - paying money for a burn to turn ghostly white. I've tried applying sunscreen and sitting in the sun - only to burn and turn ghostly white. The thought of being tan was merely dreaming the impossible dream. Then I received an email from Yelp with a variety of free to try service offers from Facelogic in HP. While I'm no spring chicken and probably should have picked a microdermabrasion, I ran to the phone to book a spray tan. I've never had a spray tan before - scarred by memories of Ross Geller's experience on Friends. Why risk glowing teeth and two-tone skin? Now was the time to put on my big girl pants - or in the case of a spray tan on a 40-something-year-old body, remove my big girl pants. Prep for the appointment was super easy. The spa told me what to do (exfoliate, don't use lotion/deodorant before the appointment). They sent text messages the day before and day of my appointment. I had great advice from a friend to put lotion on the heels and outside of my feet, and on the palms and outside edges of my hands to prevent color build up there. As a pale girl, my friend also told me to pick the "fair" tone spray. Facelogic is a hand-applied tan. After checking in, an attendant takes you back to a private room. From there, you're given a shower cap to protect your hair and are given privacy to strip to your level of comfort. The attendant returns and proceeds to spray. She was super nice and made me feel comfortable through the process. Her instructions were clear and conversation was easy and professional throughout. After she sprayed me all over (including my face - which was optional), she turned the sprayer to air and dried me off. I had to avoid showering for 8 hours, then I was good to go. The results were GREAT. The tan was evident but not orange or outrageously dark. My pastor even asked me where we'd gone on vacation because I looked so relaxed and glowing. It's now 5 days later and the tan is still lingering and nice, fading the way a natural tan would. I was told to expect my color to last for about a week and that looks to be true. Will I get another spray tan? Most definitely. I think will stick with having it hand applied from Facelogic because, you know, Ross Geller. read more

This was my first time coming to facelogic. I purchased a deal on groupon for a signature facial and microdermabrasion treatment. I was able to get an appointment for the next day which was great. The person I spoke with on the phone was very nice and informative. She told me that it can be difficult to find a parking space so to come early to make sure I had time to find a parking spot. It is in an area of high traffic. Luckily i was able to get a spot right in front of the shop. The receptionist area is very clean. My esthetician was waiting for me in the reception area when I walked in. She looked really young so i was nervous that the service might not be good. She opened a door and there was a dark hallway. There are service rooms off this hallway that are closed by curtains. Since there were no doors you could hear people talking and walking by. Instead of a table they have these very comfortable lounge chairs that lay back. They have towel wraps if you want to uncloth and they wrap you in towels so you are warm. It was pretty cold in the room. She took her time and explained everything she was using and what she was going to do. The products had really nice smells. The facial was very relaxing. My skin was smooth and glowing afterwards. Even the next day, it still felt really good. I definitely plan to come back for another facial. Massage/Facial/Wax Spa. Parking is very tight at this location, I drove around a few times to find one spot. You walk in to a lobby that has a lady behind the desk doing it all. There are 5 people waiting but she's getting everyone taken care of. She immediately says please sign in and we will be with you shortly. I am happy I got here 30 minutes early, I sign in and have a seat, about 10 minutes go by and she announces out loud, "Jason have you been here before?" I told her no I have not, and she tells me to fill out some paperwork. The lobby is nicely set up with products you can buy and a chalkboard with specials. Nate is the massage specialist they set me up with, he walked up 10 minutes before my appointment time to introduce himself and he was very professional. You walk through a door behind the lobby and its dim lighting. There are no actual rooms just wall separators with curtains. Sort of reminds me of a hospital set up, the way they have patients separated by curtains. It's not very quiet but they have soothing music to drown out some noises. We walk up to the room and the first thing I notice is how small the room is. There isn't much room for the massage therapist to move around. It was a 50 minute massage with a hot towel foot scrub and eucalyptus aromatherapy. The massage was ok, I could tell he was struggling to move around me in the small room and the technique used was ok. He wasn't as gentle as I would like when moving my arms or legs around, it was slightly aggressive. He also had a hard time getting the knots out of my shoulders and back. Overall it wasn't a bad massage, just not what I am used to. They have a different set up here, unfortunately just not for me so I won't be back. For a massage I wouldn't recommend them. read more

I've been here twice now for a spray tan, but unfortunately my visit yesterday did not turn out how I was hoping. I left with a very dirty look on my hands, under section of my arms clearly just weren't sprayed, and my face does not match my body tone. The customer service I got yesterday from the lady spraying me was 10/10 just saddened I didn't get the end results I was hoping for. I've been going here for two years but today is the absolute last time. The facial was terrible! In addition, traces of mask were left on my nose, between my eyes and my hairline. I asked the receptionist for a wet towel to clean and she came back with a towel that she wet in a hurry with luke warm water. I should have asked for a refund! I should have stopped going a long time ago when they cancelled my appointment (multiple times!) the day of. The last time was 1 hour before the appointment! Mind you, they charge for the service if cancelled within 24 hours. However, they didn't compensate me for canceling. Talk about double standard! The good estheticians would leave and they would schedule you with whoever without telling you ahead of time. I showed up expecting my regular girl and a new one greeted me for service. I purchased a Groupon to get a facial and this business did NOT live up to its positive reviews. Not only did I break out and look worse after the facial, I honestly felt like my "esthetician" was unskilled and questioned whether she even had a license. It did not feel like a true facial, and it was incredibly dark in there with nothing but a curtain to separate you from your neighbor... I also never received the microderm part of the treatment? Alsoooo... what spa serves cucumber water that tastes like tap water?! To me, that says a lot about the quality of this "spa". What's cool about Facelogic is that they have a membership. For $50 a month, you get one "signature facial" per month. If you're a member, you can upgrade your services at membership prices which are discounted. Upgrades include peels, microdermabrasion, etc. With a membership, you also accumulate points! With these points, you can purchase skin care products they have for sale in the main lobby. I've been a member for hmm... 2 years now? They have MANY ecsteticians - I would say each one has her own style and level of experience. I've been to 4 or 5 and I absolutely LOVE Breanna the most. She is very thorough with her extractions and gives the BEST facial, neck, and upper body massages. She applies the perfect amount of pressure to put you in this trance. I don't ever want her to stop! She's also a sweetheart. I'm one of her regulars and she gave me a Christmas card during the holidays! How sweet and thoughtful of her! Not only do they offer facials but they have a massage therapist on site so with your membership, you can choose either a massage or a facial... or even both! Unfortunately, there are some cons... Instead of beds, they use these chairs that fall back so you're essentially "lying on your back". It's a space saver for them I suppose. Instead of rooms, they have sections that are closed off by curtains. The place has wooden floors so you can hear people walking by or talking from the next room. Just try to block out all that outside noise I suppose. I also wish they had aromatherapy.. that would be so nice! Overall, I love coming and I look forward to my monthly facials and massages. I responded to an offer for a free microdermabrasion service, and I played phone tag for a few days to make an appointment. I assume they were too busy to answer the phone when I called, but the man I eventually spoke with was very nice. I left work early one afternoon, and arrived early for my appointment. The facility was impeccably clean and the staff very friendly. After quickly filling out two forms, I was brought into the back room, which is a series of "rooms" divided by curtains, not unlike a hospital, but dimly lit and slightly less clinical. The friendly girl who did my treatment had great customer service skills. In talking with her, I learned that she'd only been out of school for a few months, but she was very happy working at Facelogic. The treatment only lasted about 20 minutes (I was told it was 30+), and although it seemed that she was giving great attention to my face, I honestly felt like it was just washed a couple of times, and then briefly touched a few times with the vacuum-like tool. When I got in my car (and again later at home) I tried looking in the mirror to find some improvement in my skin, but I quite frankly couldn't find any value what-so-ever in the service. I was really looking forward to seeing some improvement to my skin, which is completely average for a 30 year old male, but I walked out looking the same as I did walking in. We had great massages, and Allie was fantastic - extremely good masseuse. BUT if a bulk of your business comes from Groupon, you should have a very good idea of what the packages include. The Massage Package includes: - 50 minute massage - upgrade to hot stones, deep tissue, etc. - peppermint aromatherapy - exfoliating foot scrub The first of us go the 50 minute massage and hot stones, but the aromatherapy and exfoliating foot scrub were completely missed. After bringing it up at the end, the second of us was able to get the exfoliating foot scrub but still missed out on the aromatherapy. Unfortunate. Worst part of the massage? Unlike every other massage place I have ever gone to, this place uses curtains (like the hospital emergency rooms) to divide all the rooms. I REALLY didn't want to splurge just to have to hear people chatting, giggling, stomping around the halls, etc. Lastly, we scheduled our appointments for 3:15 and 4:15pm back-to-back. Later on in the week, they called leaving a message that they had to move our massages an hour earlier. I called literally 10 times over the next few days, left messages, and never could get ahold of staff. Finally was able to get them 2 hours before the massage was to start. Bottom line? This is a smaller spa but very nice. It's located in a little shopping center off the tollway service road and Lovers Lane. The wait area is tiny but beautiful and smells amazing. They sell jewelry, makeup, lotions, etc. I came in to get a spray tan. I had been to Mexico the week before so I wanted to keep my tan color up without damaging my skin. I asked for a color in between light and medium. The girl who did my tan was so sweet. From start to finish the whole thing took about 15 minutes and that included the wait when I signed in. Not bad at all especially if you're in a hurry! I was told the tan would get darker by the next day. The next morning I woke up and I looked like I was a different race! I think they went a little darker than my request. But one thing I will say is this stuff does not come off easily!! I scrubbed and scrubbed and even used an exfoliant. No luck. Eventually it started to fade but I'm not complaining! Now I know to go with a light color and that it'll stay on through showers! Live and learn! I would definitely recommend getting a spray tan here. They come out even and stay on long! Just make sure to have a conversation with the person doing the spray tan and make sure to keep in mind that they always come out a little darker than you expect. read more
