Don't step inside! My experience with Novuskin has been extremely disappointing. Although approximately two-thirds of the estheticians, along with Erika, Makayla, the nurses, Genicey, and Jenna, have been skilled, kind, and professional, my interactions with some hostesses, billing and sales staff, management, and other estheticians have left me feeling that customer satisfaction is not a priority. Do not purchase a promotional 90-minute facial through Groupon, Facebook, Instagram, or another platform. In my experience, the advertised facial provided about 20 minutes of treatment followed by a lengthy sales presentation. Before visiting, I expected to purchase a membership and ultimately chose the most expensive option. As a disabled military wife living with chronic pain after more than 50 surgeries and years of putting my family first, I viewed it as something positive to do for myself. Unfortunately, problems began almost immediately. The membership and scheduling Novuskin strongly encourages customers to pay the full annual membership balance upfront. Financing can add thousands in charges, and month-to-month payment is unavailable unless a contract has been completed and no new one has been entered. Important treatment limitations were not explained before purchase. At my first appointments, I learned that dermaplaning required waiting several weeks before a facial procedure. I was also told that Venus Freeze results required treating the same area for an entire year, despite having specifically asked about the expected timeline. Scheduling is another major issue. Advanced treatments may require 4-6 weeks' notice, while Botox and filler can be 6-8 weeks out. As a Diamond member, weekly wellness shots were a major selling point, especially because I live about an hour away, but Novuskin often cannot coordinate them with my other services. I have paid for shots I struggle to use and have sometimes arrived only to learn that the nurse was unavailable. Treatments I cannot use After 10 months, I have received only four body treatments and three facial treatments despite paying for 10 of each. I schedule months ahead, but family obligations, emergencies, or severe pain can make the two-hour round trip impossible. Even when I request a change two weeks in advance, I am often told there is no availability until my next monthly appointment. I understand that medical requirements may limit treatment frequency, but customers need a reasonable way to pause memberships and use services already paid for. I was told that pausing would only delay billing and that I would be charged for the paused months upon reactivation. I ultimately had to become confrontational before the billing manager agreed not to charge me during the pause. I am paying approximately $600 per month in advance for services I struggle to schedule and use, yet management has shown little concern. Skincare and customer service I purchased several expensive skincare products after discussing my needs with Nina. They smelled pleasant, but I felt less expensive products I already owned performed better. When I returned four barely used products, I was told Novuskin has a no-return policy under any circumstances. After repeated requests, they allowed me to exchange one product to which I was allergic and offered two complimentary service upgrades--services I already struggled to schedule. One collagen gel caused increasing redness and inflammation when used with red-light therapy as instructed. After reviewing the ingredients and stopping that product line, my skin improved within days. During the discussion about my concerns, managers moved me to a back room. Although I understand the desire for privacy, I did not feel heard or that they were genuinely seeking a solution. My overall experience Nearly every visit has brought another problem. I spent thousands hoping to care for myself after years of pain and hardship, but I have repeatedly felt that my concerns were minimized and that management was unwilling to provide reasonable solutions. As a Diamond VIP member, I have often felt more like an inconvenience than a valued customer. Before committing, carefully review the membership terms, treatment availability, cancellation and pause policies, and skincare return policy. Do not purchase expensive products without researching the ingredients and return policy. I hope Novuskin improves its communication, scheduling flexibility, customer service, and membership policies. There are talented, compassionate people working there, but those positive experiences have been overshadowed by the management and membership structure. I made an appointment and when I arrived there they said my appointment was canceled because I don't qualify for the promotion but I wasn't asking for the promotion and they dismissed me like they don't care for a client. The place is so DESPERATE it's SCARY! They literally harass and call numerous times in a day. I had initially signed up but then saw their promotion was a consultation that you actually pay for without much service plus they want money to make the appointment. They asked me to confirm my appointment several times during the week of the appointment. They asked again at 8am the day of the appointment, and then sent a text an hour later saying they were over booked and asked if I could move my appointment by 6 hours. They offered to give me an add on. When I arrived at the new time, fifteen min early as they requested.... They took my payment for my service before if was even performed. I never had that happen before at a med spa. Then it was a full hour before they actually took me back to start my treatment. I came trying to get the five in one special that they had for new patients. They asked me multiple times when I was booking my appointment if I had any allergies and I explained that I was allergic to vitamin C. Well, it turns out that that five in one has vitamin C in it. So all in all they just wasted my time. They were not punctual. And were very unprofessional from beginning to end. I never got an explanation as to why they booked me while knowing my allergy. I never got an apology. Even during the consultation, I reiterated that I was allergic to vitamin C and she never said anything about the five and one having vitamin C in it. Luckily, the sweet girl that was going to do my treatment was the only one that advocated for me the whole place had a very disingenuous and gimmicky vibe from beginning to end. read more

I have been a member for 2 years at Novuskin Frisco. The first year was great. Great service. Nice people. Great treatments. It was easy to schedule and I tried all kinds of treatments. But I just signed a new 1 year contract in February and I did a treatment then but I have not been able to get in until July for my second treatment. Now I have a crazy schedule and it limits me to weekends only. And so I can make an appointment but if I need to reschedule it's at least 5 - 6 weeks out for weekends only. And for Botox. You better schedule for the year and for now they have no nurse for Botox treatments until after June 30th and then she's out another weekend or 2 in July. So, if you are really busy or your schedule changes frequently I strongly suggest you look for another place. I have found several places closer to me now but unfortunately I have $1300.00 tied up with Novuskin. Great treatments but zero flexibility. read more

This place is not a med spa ! They are so aggressive with getting you to sign up for a membership with them . I went in for a facial and spent so much time listening to all of them talk about their levels of membership. They text me all week long about confirming my appointment even though I had already confirmed it twice , then they called me to confirm it . They bombard you with text messages and then push the sales of membership . The facial was okay , nothing great though. They sent a lot of confirmation emails, which was fine I even confirmed the day before and the morning of through their link and text. I have screenshots. But right before my appointment, they told me it was canceled because I "didn't confirm." Even after I showed proof, they said I could come the next day but I had already taken time off for that day. 1-Star Review Warning: Novuskin Medspa lacks compassion when it matters most. A little over a month ago, I received unexpected medical news that required weekly doctor visits and made money tight. I called Novuskin to explain my situation and asked to pause my membership temporarily until I could get back on my feet. Instead of understanding, they told me they still needed at least half of a payment and wouldn't consider helping until I paid. I felt dismissed and disappointed--especially when I was only asking for 2-3 months to sort things out. They also advertise "free gifts" that actually come with hidden fees, something they don't mention until problems arise. Later, my mom and I visited another medspa where she was getting a treatment. After hearing my situation, the staff showed incredible kindness and compassion. My mom paid for me to get a service there, and I actually saw a difference in my skin right away, I was so emotional I cried, and so did my mom. The women at that spa hugged us and assured us I was in good hands. That's how people should be treated, especially when facing health issues. Novuskin Medspa showed me they care more about payments than people. Be cautious if you're going through anything unexpected, they may not offer the flexibility or empathy you need. read more

Never even made it to the appointment because they canceled on me at the last minute. After calling me and texting me multiple times a day for over a week I had to tell them to stop calling me. It was extremely annoying. They require you to do a final confirmation an hour before your appointment except they called and texted me 2 hours before, when I was not available and could not respond, they canceled. I confirmed this appointment at least 3-4 times during the week but those don't count apparently. Don't sign up for an appointment or you will be harassed by their marketing team. It is horrible business to cancel on people at the last minute. Just don't do this. It's not worth the frustration and from reading other reviews sounds like a ploy to get you in to sell you on an expensive plan anyways. read more
