Hello, I have been a client of The Secret Med Spa in Frisco for the past four years. About two months ago, I transferred to the Plano location due to the construction at the Frisco office. I initially purchased a microneedling package with exosomes. On January 30, 2025, I was then sold a Skin Brightening package for $804. Two days later, when I came in for Botox, I was also sold a membership for $299 per month. That same Sunday, I called to ask if I could cancel the Skin Brightening package I had just purchased two days earlier since I had enrolled in the membership. The front desk told me they would check with the manager. I called again on Monday and left a voicemail, and again on Tuesday and left another voicemail. No one answered the phone at the Plano location during these calls. I don't know if the front desk intentionally not picking up the call. On my third attempt, I called from a different phone number and someone finally answered. I was transferred to the manager and placed on hold for about 10 minutes. When I did speak with the Plano manager her, she said she would let me know whether the package could be canceled. I also asked that, if cancellation was not possible, perhaps the amount could be applied as a credit toward another service. It has now been four business days (not including the weekend), and I have not received any call back. I left another voicemail on Monday and also sent a text to the location, but I have received no response. I have continued calling, and no one answers. I am very disappointed with this experience, especially given how much I have spent over the years and the fact that I have referred several clients to the Frisco location. At this point, I truly regret signing up for the $299/month membership due to the lack of response and follow-up from the Plano location. I am asking for someone from corporate or management to please contact me. I should not be treated like this. I also owned a business never will or my staff will I treat my client like this. My recent experience was extremely disappointing. Instead of talking at your patients, engage with them to understand their desired results. Having received Botox for 17 years, I don't need an educational seminar on the product or its placement benefits. Please ASK your patients what they're looking to achieve before starting the injections. The self-righteous attitude from the recent injector I saw, isn't necessary either. I shouldn't have to come in every 10 weeks for Botox when movement is visible, plus endure ridicule about my membership benefits (unlimited Botox - $300/mo) or lack thereof. This was a very off-putting experience, to the extent that I am considering canceling my membership. Additionally, stop pressuring people to add a 20% gratuity to a medical procedure. I have many friends in the industry who agree that tipping 20% on medical procedures is absurd. Patients in the waiting room don't need to hear that you're behind on sales for the month. First time customer at this med spa and loved it! I had an appointment for my lips with Alisha and she was awesome! She was so sweet and friendly, really eased my nerves. She knew I was a little nervous about the injections (I hate needles) and did everything she could to help me out. Between the small fan, a ball to squeeze on, and a little ice pack on my chest I didn't really feel much and it was totally fine! My lips turned out great, I am so happy with them! I went to an open house introduction party at this spa. At the end of the presentations I was given a complimentary 10 unit botox treatment. Today was my appointment to get the complementary treatment. Upon arrival they asked for my drivers license and took me to a room to wait and closed the door. I then went back out and asked for my license back because I don't think they needed my license for a 10 unit treatment. He didn't explain why he needed my license. Actually, I love this location because they never overbook, never have to wait more than a few minutes even on weekends, reception never blurts out what treatment you are receiving even if there are no other guests waiting. I have used this company for over a year and have spent over $10,000 on services. Recently, I took a female friend in to watch my Botox. Before it was over, she got a consult on having Morfeous done on her face and some lip filler. I agreed to use a credit I had on "MY ACCOUNT" to pay for it. Today I get a credit card bill for $2580.00 to have additional work on her face and $576.00 for product. Wow! Who approved that? They did not take a credit card from her and instead decided to charge my card for HER ADDITIONAL SERVICES. When I confronted the manager her explanation was that "they thought it was to be on my account". I understand how this can happen. However, what I don't understand is how something that was never discussed with me could be charged to my credit card. They are very undisiplanned about making sure the services are agreed to by getting a signed service agreement. this place is AWFUL!! They waited til i got back in the room to tell me that they couldn't do lip filler if i've had a fat transfer to my lips. i got the transfer in 2017 and have had filler done 10+ times since then with other companies. I just moved to the area and waited three weeks for this appointment. I was hoping to establish regular care and get everything cosmetic done here. The lady that was going to do the filler had terrible bedside manner to begin with. She seemed like she was already in a bad mood and the way she talked to me was patronizing. She told me she didn't think she could do the filler but would go ask. okay sounds good. When she got back she told me they couldn't and that they would still do the other things i had reserved for (laser hair treatment and scar laser treatment) but if i have to look for another med spa immediately i would rather go there to get laser hair removal! She told me I had wasted their time and I would be paying a cancellation fee. I told her that wasn't right and went up to the front desk before leaving. They, again, told me they were charging me a $100 fee for canceling because I had wasted their time. I drove 2.5 hours to go to this appointment and spent half an hour in their waiting room all while my daughter is at daycare. If you're a mom you understand that three hours while baby is at daycare is a much bigger waste than some corporations bottom line. I told them It was unreasonable that i'd have to pay a fee since they canceled on me, and that they could've told me about those limitations at any point, online when I contacted them, over the phone, etc. They told me that I could've done a quick google search to know that they couldn't give me filler. What??? Google says it's fine too! That comment was rude, condescending, and unnecessary. They were trying to make me feel stupid. The entire time I remained polite, even through my frustration. I already contacted my bank and they are going to reverse the charge. The lady on the phone was flabbergasted as to why they would charge ME when they can't perform a service due to their policy. After I booked everything online We texted back and forth for like a full day because they kept moving my appointment time around, canceling it, redoing it, telling me I could get treatment and then couldn't. After checking in, I was left unacknowledged for over thirty minutes. I watched GM, Jaimie Marmolejo invite the staff over to eat at the refreshment table, speak in his office with a certain "type" of client and others who came in after me go in to be seen.
