I still think about this spa every time I exfoliate, mainly because the esthetician told me I had one of the dirtiest faces she had ever worked on. She went extremely hard on extractions for my blackheads, to the point where I was in tears. She wiped them away and told me I did a good job, but I couldn't help but wonder if a gentler approach was possible, especially since we finished early. Came for a facial appointment 10 minutes early but they didn't see me till 20 minutes later and had the nerves to end early before the hour facial. In addition they tried to charge me when I had a certificate on file for the facial. As for the signature facial, it definitely was not worth it. The esthetician must have been new or just not experience. She was tugging on my skin a lot especially when removing a mask. Not a pleasant experience and I won't be back. So let me be clear this 5 star rating is only for Amy. She is very VERY good at what she does. She's constantly bettering her craft. Why wouldn't you go to someone who constantly excelling at their work. I don't get the comments about the front desk. They were quick to reschedule and move around my appointments and greeted me when I came in. Now for the not so great stuff. I got a firming facial. Would I get it again? No. Would I even try another facial? probably. I'd have to get add-ons and/or the more expensive facials. It was a VERY underwhelming experience. Cleanse, exfoliate, mask, extract(horribly), mask, cream. You can literally do that at home. Maybe I'm a skincare snob and like the bells and whistles such as microcurrent, LED light, etc etc. So don't get their basic facials because they are TOO basic. Also y'all need to be clear before the appointment about what no longer is included because of COVID regulations. I didn't get a steam. Sooo it was lower than a basic facial. read more

This place seriously needs a new scheduler/receptionist stat! First appointment - they tried to cancel on me the day of - because you know, the injector is really busy. They said someone should have called me earlier in the day but forgot so they told me when I showed up for my appointment. WTF, right? What about the appointment I've had scheduled for weeks? So my injector rushed through the procedures and messed up my Restalyn. Lumps at every single injection site, even after a month. I've never had this result. I'm sure they'll respond to this review and blame me for doing something wrong post injection, as that is their MO, but I didn't touch my lips or lay down. Rescheduled a procedure that the injector didn't have time for at the first appointment. Literally three hours later they called asking me to reschedule. Who in TF at this place cannot read a schedule? The excuse - the injector is going to be off that day. And you didn't know that three hours ago? Asked for a refund and they are only willing to give a partial refund. Told them that was not acceptable and that I'd dispute the original charge with my credit card company. The girl said "well, that works". Well, alrighty then! As a side note, I asked when I checked out if they are part of the Brilliant Distinctions program and was told yes, that they would credit my points. Big surprise - nothing was credited. They were very nice the whole time even thou I show up 10min. before and they make me wait 33 min. by the clock. I just moved to the area and was due for Botox and found U Med Spa. I easily booked online (I would give bonus stars for this if I could) and had my appointment with Leslie today. When I arrived, I was greeted by Paige and she was so welcoming! I asked to have numbing cream put on my crows feet area, and she was happy to accommodate! (Believe it or not, I have had other establishments give me push back, I do it because for me, it prevents me bruising like a peach and makes getting Botox in the area more comfortable for me). The U Boutique and Med Spa is definitely more Med than Spa. Not the place you go if you want some quite pampering. Here is what my experience was like. 1. I booked a facial online with no problems. 2. I called the next day to add a massage and called every 15 minutes for an hour before someone answered the phone. They were able to add a massage with no problem. 3. The interior is very upscale med and not pampering spa. The music was very "euro club." The waiting area is two chairs behind a divider/wall. Next to each chair are the lone one-person restrooms Ladies on one side and men on the other. 4. I was offered water which was delivered in a small plastic cup. 5. I waited for a few minutes and was wondering why I wasn't taken back to the changing room. Ohhhh, that's because there is no changing room. You undress in your treatment room and are given a robe and a tote bag if you need to move to another one. 6. The treatment rooms are basically rooms on either side of a short hallway. The main hallway. So while you're in one of the rooms, you can hear the traffic going up and down the hall. 7. During both treatments, the crazy upbeat clubby music played. Every now and then it would be mixed in with a classical song. I had the massage therapist turn it off. 8. There was a lag between my massage and my facial and I had to sit on the massage table with the door open wearing nothing but a robe. 9. The treatments themselves were actually good. Charlie did my massage and except for her slight chattiness in the beginning, she was great. The esthetician was keen on expounding on the virtues of the clarsonic. However, I didn't feel pressured to purchase one. 10. Check-in and check-out were smooth. When I asked about the music I was told that they often get complaints, that it's the owner's preference, and that they change the music when the owner isn't there. BOTTOM LINE: With all the great day spas in Dallas, including the Woodhouse Day Spa across the street, I see no compelling reason to go U Boutique and Med Spa. read more

They did my partners dysport and he loved them. I had done a bit of internet research on where to go in the area. The last place he had went to get botox ended up not mixing their injections properly and it had no effect the 3 times he went to them. He told the doctor here and she was offended a company would do things like that. She made him feel right at home and he loved her. And I don't know about you, but if someone is going to stick a needle in my lips I would want them to be nothing but a perfectionist! If I could rate lower I would! I purchased a groupon for an amazing deal for laser hair removal. My consultation went great, the technician was wonderful! My first appointment was scheduled for 12:30 on a Saturday. I came in and immediately the girl who checked me in moved my appointment to 12:45. At 12:53 I went to the front desk to ask them how much longer it would be. One of the girls said she would go check and left the desk, a few minutes later she returned with the only news that the technician was with a client. At 1:05 the technician came to call me to tell me they are waiting on the machine and it should only be a little longer. I informed her that I did not want to wait any longer and asked if there was a manger or owner I could speak with. The girl that checked me in yelled across to lobby that she is the Spa director and that she would take care of it. I was horribly offended. She should have informed me when I checked in they were running late so I could have been aware. She was also at the front when I asked how much longer to the other girls and it was obvious I was upset at that time, she should have tried to resolve the matter at that time. The spa director also walked right by were I was sitting after I had asked how much longer and did not say a word to me. Obviously if she was incompetent to help me at any of those opportunities I did not want to take her help almost 40 minutes after my appointment time.
