Became familiar with U Spa through a Groupon & have been a loyal customer ever since. There's been no turnover so I like the fact I can develop a relationship with my specialist Caycee about my "Beauty Needs". From Kate and all her front desk staff to Carol the owner they make you feel comfortable and educated about what you are looking to do next. Once you become a regular they send you monthly specials on FUN things to try out. I love the spa and the location is great Legacy Village lots of places to eat after a beauty quickie. read more

U Med Spa - Medical Spas Near Me - Plano, Texas

Amy does my Dysport and lip filler and she is amazing! She really takes time listening to exactly what I'm looking for and makes it a reality! I cannot believe the results. I have always been self-conscious about my thin lips but I've been too scared to try any enhancement for fear of it looking unnatural. Well, let me tell you, my lips look naturally full and my brow lines are gone! I get compliments on my youthful look a lot. People ask what skin care products I use, they are blown away when they hear I've had injections. If you are looking for quick, beautiful results, this is the place to go! read more

I have had two appointments rescheduled due to poor planning on Umedspa's part. I also missed two scheduled appointments because the wand was broken for laser. I have been informed that they are phasing out laser so now I understand why my appointments are not important to them. I'm not having to find a new place to finish my half done laser hair removal. I do not recommend this place to anyone. read more

U Med Spa is the only place I will EVER go for injections or facials. The entire staff is so kind, understanding, and professional. Carol and Amy are the worlds best injectors and explain everything in depth until you fully understand and make sure you know how things work and how to take care of your injections post appt. Katie and Angela give the most relaxing facials and help you treat any problems you have regarding skin and give the best recommendations for skin care. My skin has never looked better and I am finally confident enough to walk out of my house without makeup. I have seen everyone that works here and have never been disappointed. xoxo read more

The entire staff goes above and beyond. Amy and Katie checked in daily to make sure I was doing okay after my first deep DOT treatment. I was a nervous wreck from the beginning to end and I couldn't be more appreciative of their patience with me. They have consistently reassured me and even squeezed me into their schedule to make sure I was healing properly. I can't thank them enough. read more

My service with Carol was awesome. I received some botox and filler in my lips. It looks totally natural and I've gotten so many compliments. Carol is a true professional at what she does and I would definitely recommend her. I've been getting botox and fillers for years and she has a very gentle touch compared to most. Her receptionist was very accommodating and helpful as well. read more

I went there and wanted to get rid of or 90% reduce my acne scars which where not bad at all and they said it would take 2 to 3 micro needing sessions and i would be good. i got 3 done and that did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. My face is still the exact same as before session 1. It does not work and o am very unhappy. They also messed up my lips and made them uneven which i got fixed at another spa. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. They will blame it on you and make excuses that people are different and different results will happen after you complain. They will promise you success up front then once you pay they won't fix any issues. They get their employees and friends to post good reviews. read more

Had really loved this place. However after having lip filler and the filler all sitting in the middle of my lip I called. The lady I spoke to was pretty rude and said to call back in a few weeks if it doesn't fix itself. I did. Twice. Both times being told someone would be calling me back. No one ever did. I won't be going back. For the price you pay to go here, you should be getting amazing service. read more

Nurse Amy all the way! She has been doing my Botox for over a year now. She's so hip, so sweet, AND a board certified Nurse. She always leaves you with smooth, natural, "I woke up this flawless" results. Literally cannot wait for her to give me the perfect pout before my wedding. Schedule an appointment with her immediately. You'll love her! read more

I went to nurse Amy before my wedding for some Botox on my forehead and around my eyes. She made me look smoother, younger, and happier (okay that could have been my newlywed glow ) too. It wasn't even painful like I thought it'd be. Her hands were like tiny delicate fairies dancing on my face! After the first injection, all of my fears went away..just like my fine lines and wrinkles! read more

I would give NO Star if possible. I came to U Med Spa because of the good reviews. Now I start to wonder if they are even real. My wife have been doing Botox and/or Dysport for quite a while now. EVERY TIME she uses 100 units to a PERFECT look. PERFECT! She did at Beverly Hill Rejuvenation Center, Result: Perfect!. She did at Blush Aesthetics & Wellness, Result: Perfect. 100 Units. Well, at U Med Spa we did 100 Units. Lots of movement after 2 weeks. ALL the clinics we have done the procedure before offer a FREE touch-up if results are not satisfactory to the client. So I called U Med Spa and I was told i could get a touch-up since. I went there, the technician stated it was indeed needed a touch-up but WE would be responsible to pay for it, because it was not their fault. That perhaps they could have applied more to the forehead. WHAT? YOU are the professional, you know WHERE to apply, not us! So they applied 15 units more and charged us $50. Fine. Problem is, there is still some considerable movement and I will NOT come back to this place. I am starting to be suspicious they dilute the product way to much and hence the results. Never coming back and if anyone ask me for my feedback which I will freely give everywhere I can, it will be: CHOOSE ANOTHER PLACE! Unbelievable.... read more

This was my first time getting Botox and I was extremely nervous. Amy was soo sweet & walked me through the process and answered all of my questions. She did an amazing job and I was very satisfied with my results. The salon is very clean and the staff was very professional. I would definitely recommend them ! read more

I went there a few times. I was not thrilled any of the times. The service offered was not provided. When I enquired about having it corrected as promised I was threatened. When I called the medical doctor associated with the spa I was told if I wanted to pay a few hundred dollars he would look into the damage. The event was of great concern. Having had that service for decades thighly qualified medical doctors I was shocked at the lack of regard for ethics and the fact that they owner of the service lied to me on multiple occasions. I made the owner and the doctor aware I had a witness with me. I told that to the supervising Medical doctor and they did not response with anything other than if I wanted an apt to see the doctor that was supervising the clinic it would be several hundred dollars. Do not go there unless you a willing to take a big risk with your wallet or your outcome and appearance. read more

I went there today and was deeply offended when I was told that I could not have laser hair removal because my skin is too dark. I think it is unacceptable for a business to choose to cater only to people with certain skin tones. read more

Came here for one visit and was happy with service. Tried to call for more service and wow!! Kept me on hold to disconnect me and then when I tried back repeatedly to schedule no answer. Trying to take advantage of a special I made the 30 minute drive to take care of it only to have to wait again! By the time someone had time to help me I was so frustrated I don't even want to come here any more. Rather give my money to someone interested in my business. After reading your response I made a point to check my missed call history and make sure I haven't overlooked or missed a message from u med spa. Since these multiple calls never happened I double checked again and also checked my emails. No contact at all!! I would have taken the call and returned it but this response is simply not true! Either you called the wrong number or this attempt to make things better is just a lie. read more

I bought a Groupon for a photo facial at U Med Spa. I left thinking my experience was descent. The lady that gave me my photo facial was really nice and sweet. BUT, after going elsewhere, I now know that the photo facial I had at U Med Spa was terrible. They actually did about 25% of the procedure on me and they didn't use the laser that blows cold air as the laser hits your face. Making the procedure at U Med Spa VERY painful. I won't be back. read more

Carol, the owner, is the BEST person to trust your face with! She takes her time, makes you feel completely comfortable, answers all your questions, and her passion for making people beautiful truly shines through her attentiveness and perfectionism. She is a P.A. and IMO, the most experienced and best person with facial fillers and injectables. She has been doing my lips for years, and nobody ever believes me that they are not 100% real. Many Doctors have a habit of rushing you and brushing off your concerns and questions, Carol really takes her time and that's why I continue to recommend her to everybody I know. Not to mention, she looks unbelievable, her face is flawless and you wouldn't believe her if she told you her true age! She does all her own work on her face. I can't say enough great things about U Med Spa and Carol Robinson! read more

I called to inquire about booking a new patient appointment and the person that answered the phone was of absolutely no help. She didn't offer to schedule me for an appointment after I asked her some questions about the time frame of obtaining services. I would think if you want business, it would be better to have someone who is knowledgeable and willing to help. I'm moving on to another more capable spa. read more

I first found this place on groupon and have been coming back for several years for laser hair removal. This place is so awesome! Their laser beam hair removal prices are super affordable and they do SUCH a good job. The technicians ensure that you're comfortable and I know the extent of their patience as I test it frequently since I'm a baby when it comes to laser pain. They've always been so kind and understanding and allow me to take a break. I love coming here and imagine I'll be going back for a while to try all that they have to offer! read more

I've been going to this spa for a few years and the customer service has gone downhill over the last 4 months. The front desk staff - especially Chandler - has a terrible attitude. The manager -- believe her name is Kate -- is arrogant and shouldn't be in this position if she isn't going to get back to her customers. I would have recommended this place a while back but would strongly advise you to take your business elsewhere if you're wanting to be treated with dignity and respect. read more

This spa is owned by Carol Robinson and let me say, she is absolutely amazing. First of all, what a lovely person she is. The staff at UMed is extremely friendly, professional and accomodating, too. I tend to give high star ratings, but I'd frickin' give her a hundred stars if I could. I'm no stranger to Botox and Juvederm injections (Oops, did I just write that?) Carol is an artist and expertly does these. I had someone wonderful I went to in the past when I lived out of state, but have to say Carol is the very best I've ever been to. I also had a scar on my cheek that really had me very upset and self conscious. It's something that affects your confidence and outlook in a huge way. She corrected it and had more knowledge and skill than the dermatologist and plastic surgeon I had seen. The correction didn't happen overnight. Not from laser treatments (though they do offer those) or other costly procedures, but through her skill with a needle and syringe of Juvederm- which cost me way less. The process took time, healing, patience and a series of appointments. I wholeheartedly agree with the other poster who said her professional judgement, concern and determination to get it looking right are what make her so outstanding. She goes well above and beyond anyone in her field. I call her my Fairy Godmother. And I mean it. I am so happy with my results, I was almost crying. Thank you so much, Carol!! You have no idea how much you did for me. ETA: The review claiming that Carol "will not work on you if you're not white" has me shaking my head, it's so ridiculous. Fraxel lasers pose a risk of PIH (post inflammatory hyperpigmentation) on olive to dark skinned individuals and it's not uncommon for many to not want to risk the client getting bad, irreversible results. It has nothing to do with discrimination against anyone because of race- or anything else, for that matter. read more

I bought a Groupon for a package of 3 microdermabrasion facials. Have used 2 so far and am looking forward to the third. Atmosphere is nice and relaxing, and the aestheticians and receptionists have been wonderful to deal with. read more

I tried U Med Spa for the first time thru Groupon. It was for Botox and it was a great deal and the first time I ever tried Botox. This place to me is definitely more of a Med than Spa. It's not very large and that's not a big deal. But if your looking for a large spa that is quiet, this place didn't strike me as such. However, I do not go to spa's so I am no expert on the subject. The Doctor who gave me my shots was wonderful. She made the experience very easy since I do hate needles. After getting the shots I was then on the email list and received a promotion for photo-facial. There was two appointments, one for a consultation to see what my skin could handle of the treatment and if I should even get the treatment, which I appreciated, i do not want my skin more damaged if I do not have the correct skin type. I came in for my appointment and being someone who hates pain, my technician made the process fast though she couldn't do anything about the pain because well, that's part of the photo-facial. She was nice and cheerful and very positive which is very helpful. My face was on fire for a good hour but after that it was tolerable and only took a few days for the redness and dark spots to be gone. I will definitely be interested in returning to do that procedure in the winter. I didn't find this place to be intimidating but I didn't find it too casual either. I think people will be happy that there is a happy medium in the atmosphere. read more

I dropped in on a Friday afternoon just to see if I could schedule an appointment for Saturday. Unfortunately I couldn't but as I was standing there Carol (one of the PA's) was at the front desk getting ready to leave for the day. She said she could fit me in immediately if I could do it then. Yes please!!! I travel constantly for work so getting an appointment anywhere is a struggle for me. Carol was a life saver!! read more

The personnel issues seem to be solved. I was contacted by owner and all was made right. I'm so happy to update this review and continue my services again. I love this place. read more

Spent thousands of dollars here. Botox and Dysport. Neither ever really took hold. I don't know if it was the person injecting or if they are using counterfeit/Chinese or old or too watered down product. Don't waste your money. read more

Today , I visited with Carol Robinson to get 60 units of dysport. I received a groupon as a gift for the dent between my eyebrows from years of squinting. I must say she was wonderful, pleasant, experienced and very kind. I am usually very reluctant with these type of things, however I walked out happy and with no regrets. I totally recommend her and happy that I got her by luck as my PA... I will definitely be going back to her for anything else I may need in the future. :) read more

Carol is wonderful. I am a registered nurse and I am so impressed with her technique, knowledge and professionalism. I would never get injections from anyone else. I just relocated to Seattle,WA and will very likely go back to Dallas to see her. read more

The best experience from start to finish! From walking in to completing procedures. Carol is an expert and I wouldn't trust anyone else! Been back at least a half dozen times. If you have had any qualms on who to go to, rest assured this is the place! read more

Amy is the best!! I was a nervous wreck with it being my first time getting Botox, and Amy made me feel completely at ease. She is so nice and very knowledgeable about all the products/services. I absolutely LOVE coming in for my appointments with Lindsey! Not only does she do a wonderful job on all my services, she's sweet and so professional, as well. I've only had 2 sessions of laser hair removal and I'm already seeing great results!! She's very detailed with her work and makes sure I always leave happy. At the front desk, Armando is so polite when checking me in and booking my next appointments. The spa itself is so modern and clean! Very pretty place.
