i get my lips done here and every time they are great, no matter the location... mandy from the plano office is an amazing receptionist, she always fits me in last minute and shes the reason i keep coming back. the quality of there products is unmatched and their precision of the lipper is wonderful. the care is good and they actually care about your results long term. i go for acne reasons as well and its always very hands on and consultations.

Had surgery for skin cancer, and I received excellent care from Dr. Dharamsi and her nurse. I had a 4 inch incision and a week after the stitch removal, you can hardly see the scar. Her entire staff is amazing and gives excellent customer service. I have been to many dermatologists over the years, and she is the best yet. She is so kind and compassionate!! I really want to give her 10 stars!! I have seen very few doctors with her attitude and great bedside manor. Keep up the good work!! I highly recommend her office!

I sure tf did

However, I had a very pleasant first appointment with Dr. Spencer at the Dermatology & Skin Surgery Institute in North Texas this past week. I've had some actinic keratosis (a precursor to skin cancer) about 14 years ago, and I also have some occasional acne and general aging skin issues. I've been figuring I needed a checkup with a dermatologist since I turned forty just a couple of years ago. I chose Dr. Spencer because he appears to be a serious skin doctor, as shown by a number of academic papers he's written, and he also appears to have been schooled in some of the latest modern treatments for skin conditions. I had virtually no waiting, and the Dermatology Institute's office staff were very professional and efficient. Dr. Brent was brisk, knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions capably. He examined my skin, identified minor spots of sun-damage, and removed some questionable patches very adeptly. Although he worked rapidly, I felt I was given very personal attention, and I feel a lot more confident about any future dermatologist visits I might need. Very cool to meet someone who's so intelligent and warm!

With living on the coast most of my life I have had several issues. I 100% trust Dr. Spencer. The office is clean and so organized. The wait is minimum. I have a Dermatology office in my neighborhood that was reluctant to biopsy an area of concern because she felt it was "nothing". Dr Spencer took one look and said yes, it needs to be biopsied. Two cancer removals later done by him and now I am cancer free !

I'll be honest, I'm probably not the typical person to write a review for a dermatology office. As…read morea guy, going to the dermatologist wasn't exactly something I was excited about or used to doing. That said, I've been going to Rodgers Dermatology for a few years now and I've had a good experience. I recently had a few procedures done, and everything went smooth from start to finish. The staff was friendly, the providers explained what was going on, and they made the whole process easier than I expected. I felt comfortable during the visits, never felt rushed, and appreciated that they answered my questions without making it a big deal. Overall, I'm glad I went and would recommend them, especially to anyone who may be putting off going to a dermatologist.

During those two weeks, not a single person from the office contacted me to explain that a parent or legal guardian must be physically present for a minor's initial visit. I intentionally scheduled this appointment before school started so my son would not have to miss class. Instead, he took time off work, drove to the office, checked in, and was then informed he would not be seen because I was not there in person. My son is nearly 17 years old and less than two years away from leaving for college. He is more than capable of attending a routine dermatology appointment on his own. If the practice requires a parent to be physically present despite a patient being mature enough to drive himself, hold a job, and manage his own appointment, that is certainly their prerogative--but it is also their responsibility to communicate that requirement before the appointment, not after the patient has already arrived. To be clear, I have absolutely no issue with that policy. I have every issue with a practice that fails to communicate it. When I spoke with the office manager, I expected a simple acknowledgment that the situation could have been prevented with a phone call, text, or email. Instead, I was told I should have known, that I should have called the office rather than using Zocdoc, and that there was essentially nothing to be done. If this office chooses to accept appointments through a third-party scheduling platform, then the responsibility to communicate office-specific requirements belongs to the office--not the patient. Suggesting otherwise is simply an attempt to shift responsibility for an entirely preventable mistake. I offered to FaceTime during the appointment or complete any required paperwork electronically so my son could still be seen. There was no willingness to accommodate, no effort to problem-solve, and no recognition that their lack of communication had now caused him to miss work unnecessarily and will require him to miss school for a rescheduled appointment. Policies are understandable. Poor communication is not. A complete lack of accountability is even less so.

Nancy validated all of my concerns and actively listened when I told her about my struggles with acne. She doesn't just give you a skincare plan (anyone can do that). She gives you diet and lifestyle changes to consider and also gives you lists of ingredients to avoid in your hair, skin, and home products and in your food! I thought I was very conscious about my products and my diet, and then she politely steered me in a better direction. If you're looking for alternatives to anything, she can help you find them AND they will all be acne safe! In addition, if you have sensitive skin, she's your best bet. My skin is VERY sensitive and I have reactions to nearly everything! She tested different products on me and found a routine that was safe for my sensitive skin and even helped me toughen my skin up so it's not as reactive as it once was. Trust the process! Take lots of pictures! Your skin will slowly but surely start to improve. It has been a night and day difference for me and I've only been seeing her for 7 weeks! Investing in your skin will be the best investment you ever make. I started this journey to get clear for my wedding in the spring, but I'm quickly realizing that this is a lifestyle I really enjoy!
