I have been post-op for only one day, but I wanted to share my experience thus far. The first thing I noticed when I came in for my consultation was that the women working there were naturally beautiful, not over-botoxed and over-filled. When I go to med spas, the first thing I look at is the staff, and if they all look overdone, it is a red flag for me. The staff is friendly. After meeting Dr.A, my husband and I liked him. He is like talking to an old friend and is very personable. I could tell he is a cerebral thinker. He didn't overpromise and explained possible outcomes with my unique case. I appreciate the honesty. He was very informative and took his time with me. On the day of surgery, I felt comfortable, and again, his staff is so friendly. The anesthesiologist was so kind, and she even put nutrients in my PIC line. I woke up and felt very alert and had minimal discomfort. My recovery time was short, and I believe the nutrients helped. When I saw my after photo, in surgery, before the swelling kicked in, I couldn't believe it was my body. Dr A is a Michelangelo, A renaissance man! I am so impressed by his skill and artistic eye. I am looking forward to seeing the results as I heal. I am using infrared light to aid in discomfort, swelling, and inflammation, along with supplements and a high-protein chicken bone broth soup, so my discomfort level is minimal. I highly recommend an infrared light. Dr A should be on your list of doctors to consult with. read more

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE MAKING A DECSION AND IF YOU HAVE A PRE-EXISTING SITUATION! I am one week out from my final surgery of 4 from a surgeon other than Dr. Plano. About 3 years ago, I went to Dr. Plano after I had an encapsulation in my right breast implant that Dr. Herman in Denton replaced it, and then it encapsulated again after a year. A friend recommended Dr. Plano and I consulted with him and he recommended that I have both implants replaced and to include a lift. The left breast healed fine. Unfortunately, the right breast would not heal and the skin would open and the implant would be exposed. He repaired it in surgery, and it healed for a short time and then the skin opened again, and he repaired it again. Finally, on Thanksgiving 2021 the skin not only opened, fluid was flowing out of the breast, the implant was exposed and I had surgery the next morning in which the implant had to be removed and I was totally disfigured (picture a deflated balloon that caved in on itself). At this point, I went to UT Southwestern and consulted with a doctor that said the damage was too extensive to do anything for a year. During this year, I had to wear a prosthetic breast in my bra (the left breast was still in tact). I wanted a 2nd opinion, so I went to an amazing miracle worker of a plastic surgeon (Dallas Magazine 2022 Plastic Surgeon of the year for 15th year) in Richardson. He too said I had to wait a year. After that terrible year passed, my new doctor tried to repair the breast with additional tissue, but it broke. The reality is, Dr. Herman had scraped out all the fat and tissue from the breast, and each surgery Dr. Plano did (4 in total) diminished the integrity of the breast structure even more. I ended up having complete reconstructive surgery with a lat flap (I had the lateral muscle relocated from my back and used as structure for the right breast, much like what a breast cancer survivor goes through) which was, by far, the worst experience of my life. It is incredibly painful, and it will forever feel like I have a girdle gripping my entire chest cavity and back. I posted pictures of only the scar revision that I just had done because the lat flap pictures are frankly too gruesome to post. The net of this review is, if you are a patient with no issues or history of encapsulation, you will likely be fine using Dr. Plano. If you are looking for a doctor that has experience in resolving a pre-existing issue, Dr. Plano is not the surgeon to entrust with your body. read more

I had been researching for months and finally decided on Dr. Angobaldo for my surgery. The consultation process was a breeze and Dr. A made me feel very confident in my decision and that my results would look amazing. I did my consult in late October and was approved by my insurance by late December. I would say my only negative from Dr. A's office was the insurance approval process - not fully their fault though - just lots of follow up needed that they don't specialize in or have the staff for. Approval did take longer than usual but I was approved and scheduled for surgery in April 2018. Before surgery I was a bit nervous but Dr. A made me feel comfortable and his nurse and anesthesia guy were amazing. I remember being wheeled from the waiting room but thats it until I woke up. I was an insurance case so I got to stay overnight at Plano Surgical which was awesome - I am not sure how the ladies do it that leave immediately! Pain was not nearly as bad as I imagined and I healed very nicely with thin scars. I would highly recommend Dr. A for any procedure. I have had 2 separate surgery occasions with the folks at Renaissance Plastic Surgery and the experience difference between the two was night and day. My first set of surgeries I felt like a valued patient. Everything was explained very well, follow up calls and information were abundant, the surgeries themselves went very well with super high quality work and after care/follow up appointments were great! I was VERY excited to go back and finish up my skin removal surgeries with thereabout 2 years later. I wish I had shopped around more and went somewhere else. My second set of series covered a reverse tummy tuck, inner thigh lift and removal of extra skin on my arms. Every single appointment I had I waited at least 30 minutes past the appointment time to even be shown to a room where I waited for an additional 15 to 30 minutes for someone to conduct the appointment. The surgeries were not explained as clearly as my first set had been. My initial surgery date had to be pushed back due to a miscommunication over pre-op procedures. What really drove my desire to leave this review was the quality of work performed in the surgeries and the utter lack of acknowledgment or assistance to address the incomplete work after surgeries. Once the procedures were completed each follow up appointment had the same wait times, only this time I was dealing with healing wounds and having to stay in very uncomfortable positions for long periods of time. Once the wounds were healed it was VERY clear that the reverse tummy tuck was not completed ( extra skin was still very much on my stomach) and my right arm now has a permanent crease in the bicep due to that surgery not being done correctly. When I attempted to make appointments to follow up on revisions for these unfinished items I was given the run around for 6 weeks. Wait times, Dr not being at the appointment, correct revision information not getting passed to the correct departments for pricing and scheduling...eventually after a 5th appointment where I had to wait for over an hour after my appointment time for no one to assist me, I left the office. They have not followed up with me in over two months since this. I am now left with unbalanced/gnarly scars, loose skin on my abdomen and I still have a crease in my upper right arm. It is worse than it was before I had surgery. While they were once very helpful and had the time to really do quality work, I feel this office has decided to pursue quantity or quality and as result surgeries are rushed and aftercare or assistance fixing errors post surgery is non existent. Please shop around and make sure you find an office that will treat you as a valued patient not just another body to make money off of. read more

Day 1 of post op. Feeling good, feeling great. Had a consul w/ 1 PS in Mansfield, wasn't quite feeling him so I stopped my search until my friend reached out and informed me of " Dr.Angobaldo AKA Dr.Plano. Watched his snaps on snapchats, checked out his IG for a bit. Set up a consul, and the rest is history. Gave him the spill of my daily life to life activity, to ensure I'd have enough recovery time etc etc. Must say, have not met such a confident PS as Dr.Angobaldo. I told him what I wanted & the look I was aiming for & right there and then, he already knew what to do/go for. The pic attached is day 1 of post op, in what I call ..." my granny bra" I feel great, feeling good & excited to see how these bad boys look after a few weeks. Also, staff, ommmgaaah, they are amazing. Any questions you'll have, don't ever hesitate to call and ask, C.C, is the sweetest. My nurse on day of surgery, she was a gem..I love her & how she was able to keep me calm. And Kim, called to check up on me a few hours after, just the sweetest staff team he's got & down to Jason, the anesthesia...he's one hell of a gem himself. Totally adore him! I had the best experience ever with this facility. I had a Tummy Tuck with muscle repair, Lipo 360 + BBL. Everything is absolutely perfect I wasn't in any pain the entire time a little uncomfortable but what do you expect. Most updated review: I'm really sad to write this review as this was my second surgery with Dr A. I really like to try and resolve issues first, but this practice has no interest in doing that. I had my first surgery with Dr. A back in 2016. The results and process were amazing, he took the time to see me before and after surgery and I was treated like a valued patient. This time around it was a completely negative experience. It definitely shows that the doctor has shifted gears and is interested in getting more new patients than seeing the ones he already has. Long story short, never received pre-op information and after surgery it was very confusing due to the lack of written information I had to give my sisters, who cared for me. For the 6-month appointment, I was supposed to see the doctor and never happened. I made another appointment and it was cancelled and the third time I waited 3 hours and decided to leave as he was in surgery and for some reason, I was scheduled to see him at this time. I even spoke with Erica, the office manager who was going to call me back with a resolution and never did. I followed up on the call but she's never available. I have a terrible scar on my back that has a dip from the doctor removing a mole, something that was never talked about or agreed on. I have cellulitis and lumpy/uneven spots on my butt, hips and legs, something I never had. I also had lipo on chin and arms which I don't see any difference. And I never saw the doctor again after surgery, except for a few days later when I developed a rash all over my body. Other than that, I have not been able to see him to express how unhappy I am with the results. I was thinking about a revision but never even got the chance to talk about it and at this point I wouldn't want him as my surgeon again. Horrible horrible experience. I had a breast reduction 4 months ago. I went from a 40I to a 40D(ish). I'm still far off from my final results as the healing process is long. However, I am very very happy with my results so far. I will say I had a lot of communication and scheduling issues with Dr. A and his office for a while, but they have hired a lot of new girls and the organization and communication does seem to be getting a lot better. I came across Dr. Angobaldo while looking for an experienced surgeon who would perform lipoma removal surgery. I had several lipomas removed in the past by a general surgeon and the scars left are large and unsightly. Most general surgeons that I consulted with also wanted to put me under anesthesia which means a visit to the OR and a A LOT more money. After my consult with Dr. Angobaldo, he felt confident that he could remove the lipomas that were causing me pain over the course of two office visits with only local anesthesia and minimal scarring. I have to say, Dr. Angobaldo is a very skilled plastic surgeon. The surgeries went very well and only a couple of weeks after, the incision wounds are already looking better than the scars left by the general surgeon I saw in the past; best of all, the pain from the lipomas has been completely alleviated! I highly recommend consulting with Dr. Angobaldo; he is an excellent plastic surgeon with great office staff and a clean facility. read more

7 year's ago I was in a horrific car accident that almost took my life and left me with some serious injuries. Dr.A was my plastic surgeon who worked his magic. He and the rest of my doctor's teamed up together to make sure they all knew what eachother was doing and what the plan was. Dr.A performed 5 surges on me. He did everything from skin graph to replace the skin on my sclap to somehow make my elbow look as "normal" as possible. His team at his office and hospital are the A team as far as I'm concerned. They make you feel comfortable and more importantly they treat you like a person. I don't know how many times he or his staff most of the time both would call and see how I was doing way before my next appointment. This Doctor left a very ugly scar on me and the whole point of using a plastic surgeon was to make the scar as nice as possible. Well the one he left had track marks and was very ugly. Before the surgery he told me scars were his specialty and then after the surgery he was trying to charge me extra to make it look better. Although I'm an " Elite Yelper" I don't have the words to describe the excellence my entire experience has been. I've been researching surgeons for two years and landed on Dr. Plano on my 40th birthday last November. I paid the consultation fee and knew he was "the one" -but-I went back in the spring to make sure to ask all the questions that had surfaced regarding my specific desired outcome. I work out 5-6 days a week and wanted to look badass-not fake. He described what he could do for me and I put down that deposit. His results speak for themselves, there was no doubt he would turn my 4 pregnancy, saggy tummy and breasts into a masterpiece. I knew from his RealSelf reviews, Snapchat, and work he completed on a friend, that my "mommy makeover" was going to be spectacular. What I gambled on was the aftercare, because photos can't show that...and for me that was the scariest part after seeing so many women go to other surgeons, who all but ignore them after the procedure. I've been waiting to post my review because I wanted to be sure that they were the total package. Now I'm four weeks post-op and can say with confidence that this surgeon and his staff are the real deal. I can't get enough of the nurses but especially the massage therapist. They are the most gentle, professional, and thorough medical staff that I've experienced-and I know my way around a medical facility due to my background. He WILL deliver the results and his staff WILL take excellent care of you. My husband and I both used Dr. Angobaldo for cyst removals. Mine was minor but my husband had a much more involved procedure. They took excellent care of us and we are both very happy with the results. He was also able to get us in for surgery quickly so that our recovery time would be a "joint process". The entire staff at Renaissance Plastic Surgery and Med Spa are amazing! They were so caring and attentive before, during, and after my surgery. I am so happy with my results and so glad I chose their office for my procedure. Dr. Angobaldo really took his time during my consultation to help me decide on the best procedure for the results I wanted. He did a great job on my surgery. Courtney has been treating my scars post-op with a laser and she's so sweet! She's always on time, and my scars are really starting to improve at just 7 weeks post-op! I'm really sad to write this review as this was my second surgery with Dr A. I really like to try and resolve issues first, but this practice has no interest in doing that. I had my first surgery withy Dr. A back in 2016. The results and process were amazing, he took the time to see me before and after surgery and I was treated like a valued patient. This time around it was a completely negative experience. It definitely shows that the doctor has shifted gears and is interested in getting more new patients than seeing the ones he already has. I did my consultation and booked my surgery in July of 2020. I got COVID a few weeks after that so I imagined I would be able to talk to someone about it to reschedule but it seemed like nobody had the time to talk to me when I called. I thought since it was at the beginning of COVID they were probably struggling like everyone else. When I was better, I booked another consultation and scheduled my surgery once again. For my appointment prior to surgery, there was paperwork with important information that was supposed to be filled out prior to the appointment. I did NOT receive the email with such information, so I couldn't fill it out ahead of time (consent forms and post-op instructions). I was given an IPad and told to fill out quickly as those we're supposed to be done beforehand, even though I had never received them. I quickly review the forms, signed and requested to get a copy so I could read at my leisure. Needless to say, I never received the copy. I tried calling as well but they would tell me it would get done and I'd be back to square one. I figured I would get discharge information the day of surgery, so I left it alone. The day of surgery I was given instructions to be there around 5am and that someone would let me in. The day of surgery it looked like nobody was in there building. I had to circle the building until I saw someone in the back and they let me in. Apparently, the person that was going to let me in was running late but didn't think to ask someone to let me know. The nurse that let me in got me all situated and ready for surgery. I saw the doctor and we talked about the procedure and my expectations and I went into surgery. My sisters picked me up after surgery, as they would be the ones caring for me afterwards, but it became a little difficult as everything that they had been instructed to do was given verbally and as you can imagine they forgot it by the time we were home. I was also confused about my medications. Luckily the nurses were very helpful and quick to reply on their nurse line. A day or so after surgery I developed a rash all over my body, call the nurse again and they I instructed me to come in right away. This was the only time I was seen by the doctor after surgery. The doctor seemed concerned about the rash but gave me a steroid shot and more steroids to take home. After that I was seen for pictures at the 1st,3rd, and 6th month. I never saw the doctor again. At the first month I could tell my 360 and BBL looked a little funny but at every appointment I was told to give it time as my body would settle and to continue using the fajas and abdominal and back board. I was also told that I would be seeing the doctor at the 6th month appointment but that never happened. Made another appointment to see him as he had also removed a mole on my back that was never talked about so I wanted to know more about that, as well as a possible revisions since my body still looked lumpy. Booked the appointment a month in advance and the week before I received a text saying he no longer sees patients on Fridays, so I booked again. For this third appointment with the doctor, I waited to see the doctor for nearly 3 hours. I would peak my head out in the hall and ask the staff if he was coming to see me and they would just tell me he was still in surgery, but he was almost done. At the 3rd hour, I left. I'm patient but this was just disrespectful. I proceeded to talk to Erica the office manager and tell her all the incidents that had occurred, and she was very nice and apologetic she looked into every issue I mentioned and said she would meet with Dr. A and call me back the same day or following morning so I could get this resolved. She also acknowledged that for some reason pre-op instructions were never emailed to me and that the doctor remove my mole but never sent it to the lab, so she was unsure as of why he did it. I finally had some relief that this would get resolved and I would get some answers, but I never did. 5 weeks after I still haven't heard from Erica or anyone else from this practice. I call their office, but I can never get someone to pick up. I've called from my sister's and my mom's just out of curiosity and when I called from a different number, the calls go through. I'm not happy with the results of my surgery. I have a terrible scar on my back that has a dip from the doctor removing the mole, something that was never t read more
