Dr. Plano and his staff are the best, if your even a little bit curious go see him for a consultation. From the moment I walked in they made me feel comfortable and at ease. I wanted to lose some of the thickness around my waist and have a lift. Dr. Plano let me know the options available to me and I choose a lipo 360 with a lift with implants. The day of the surgery I met with the anesthesiologist who was awesome as well as Lana. They booth took great care of me, and to be honest the surgery was the easiest part. I'm really sad to write this review as this was my second surgery with Dr A. I really like to try and resolve issues first, but this practice has no interest in doing that. I had my first surgery withy Dr. A back in 2016. The results and process were amazing, he took the time to see me before and after surgery and I was treated like a valued patient. This time around it was a completely negative experience. It definitely shows that the doctor has shifted gears and is interested in getting more new patients than seeing the ones he already has. I did my consultation and booked my surgery in July of 2020. I got COVID a few weeks after that so I imagined I would be able to talk to someone about it to reschedule but it seemed like nobody had the time to talk to me when I called. I thought since it was at the beginning of COVID they were probably struggling like everyone else. When I was better, I booked another consultation and scheduled my surgery once again. For my appointment prior to surgery, there was paperwork with important information that was supposed to be filled out prior to the appointment. I did NOT receive the email with such information, so I couldn't fill it out ahead of time (consent forms and post-op instructions). I was given an IPad and told to fill out quickly as those we're supposed to be done beforehand, even though I had never received them. I quickly review the forms, signed and requested to get a copy so I could read at my leisure. Needless to say, I never received the copy. I tried calling as well but they would tell me it would get done and I'd be back to square one. I figured I would get discharge information the day of surgery, so I left it alone. The day of surgery I was given instructions to be there around 5am and that someone would let me in. The day of surgery it looked like nobody was in there building. I had to circle the building until I saw someone in the back and they let me in. Apparently, the person that was going to let me in was running late but didn't think to ask someone to let me know. The nurse that let me in got me all situated and ready for surgery. I saw the doctor and we talked about the procedure and my expectations and I went into surgery. My sisters picked me up after surgery, as they would be the ones caring for me afterwards, but it became a little difficult as everything that they had been instructed to do was given verbally and as you can imagine they forgot it by the time we were home. I was also confused about my medications. Luckily the nurses were very helpful and quick to reply on their nurse line. A day or so after surgery I developed a rash all over my body, call the nurse again and they I instructed me to come in right away. This was the only time I was seen by the doctor after surgery. The doctor seemed concerned about the rash but gave me a steroid shot and more steroids to take home. After that I was seen for pictures at the 1st,3rd, and 6th month. I never saw the doctor again. At the first month I could tell my 360 and BBL looked a little funny but at every appointment I was told to give it time as my body would settle and to continue using the fajas and abdominal and back board. I was also told that I would be seeing the doctor at the 6th month appointment but that never happened. Made another appointment to see him as he had also removed a mole on my back that was never talked about so I wanted to know more about that, as well as a possible revisions since my body still looked lumpy. Booked the appointment a month in advance and the week before I received a text saying he no longer sees patients on Fridays, so I booked again. For this third appointment with the doctor, I waited to see the doctor for nearly 3 hours. I would peak my head out in the hall and ask the staff if he was coming to see me and they would just tell me he was still in surgery, but he was almost done. At the 3rd hour, I left. I'm patient but this was just disrespectful. I proceeded to talk to Erica the office manager and tell her all the incidents that had occurred, and she was very nice and apologetic she looked into every issue I mentioned and said she would meet with Dr. A and call me back the same day or following morning so I could get this resolved. She also acknowledged that for some reason pre-op instructions were never emailed to me and that the doctor remove my mole but never sent it to the lab, so she was unsure as of why he did it. I finally had some relief that this would get resolved and I would get some answers, but I never did. 5 weeks after I still haven't heard from Erica or anyone else from this practice. I call their office, but I can never get someone to pick up. I've called from my sister's and my mom's just out of curiosity and when I called from a different number, the calls go through. I just had lipo done front and back and fat transfer in buttocks areas ( not full bbl) supposedly in certain areas..3/15/21...Let's just say I'm not happy at all with my results or the professionalism given at this establishment. Where do I begin... 2019 I had a tummy tuck , BBL and 360 lipo here I must say the tummy tuck was amazing but lipo of the back and BBl not pleased . I still had deep creases in flank area and bbl .. I just don't know what happen there. Anyhoo so I gave the dr another chance last week 3/15/21 and I was soooo specific of what I wanted to target which were things I felt I should not have had to re- visit again .. back flanks and my fat transfer to buttocks - I SWEAR IT LOOKS ABSOLUTELY THE SAME as if he didn't do anything ......but he did lipo me great in the front just as he did the first time but I was happy with that already .. I'm not sure what the issue is when it comes to the back and the fat transfer but I literally have cried two days .. the sad part of this all is that I'm 7 days out now and I have YET TO SEE THE Dr after my 1 day post op appointment and then my 1 week ( can you imagine) . I was shook that he didn't see me the day after to check me out or even a week to see if I was happy .. I'm sorry I had high hopes for this place but I wouldn't recommend anyone to go here because no matter if you saved your hard earned money and paid CASH for your surgery they don't cAre. About two months ago, I was "referred" to Dr. Angobaldo's office-Renaissance Plastic Surgery. I'm not sure if the ER had his office as a reference already or if the doctor on staff that night just randomly called an office, but I'm grateful he was the one we were referred to. My hand had been pretty mangled from trying to break up a dog fight between our own two rescued pit bull mixes. They've fought before and I've broken them up before, but somehow my hand got caught in the middle of this one. The ER cleaned it up and roughly stitched it together, then sent us to Dr. Angobaldo the next morning. I was very nervous about the whole thing, not knowing the extent of the damage to the muscle, tendons, nerves and veins in my hand. Kimberly was the first friendly face I experienced. She checked me in and assured me everything would be alright. She was also the one who took me and my husband into a room and took off all the bandages from the ER. She was so careful and sweet, making sure I was comfortable at all times. She asked me several times if she was hurting me and told me when she was about to remove a bandage so I could be ready for any pain. As someone who's never been in a traumatic situation like this, I really appreciated her patience with me. Then, Dr. Angobaldo came in to see the damage. Based on my reactions to nerve testing, he and I decided that surgery was not needed (at least at this time). I did have a severed nerve, but it didn't seem to be a major one, based on his test. He actually asked me if I wanted to have surgery or wait to see how my fingers felt in a few weeks. He didn't just make a decision based on his own assessment, which I liked! He was very thorough, making sure I was comfortable with letting him sew my hand up that day. It was nice to make a decision together, instead of having a doctor just tell me what he's going to do. If you think about it, a doctor can only see the damage and make decisions based on what he can see and what tests say. Dr. Angobaldo asked me what I felt and how I felt about his suggestions. Based on our decision, the doctor started administering the stitches. I was still in pain, even with the local anesthetic. I was getting waves of nausea and sweating. Lisa was the next sweet woman who helped me. She made cold compresses for my head and rolled an ice roller across the back of my neck while the doctor put the stitches in, asking me if I was ok the whole time. She tried to make me as comfortable as possible in a really uncomfortable position. I've been back to the office a few times for small things like steri-strip replacements and check-ups. Everyone I've talked to has been really nice and comforting. A lot of plastic surgery centers are known as "get em in and get em out" businesses, but this one is very different. The care they took with my hand shows me that they really care about their patients. I'm so happy we were sent to Renaissance Plastic Surgery. I will absolutely refer my family and friends to them. read more

First off they moved location 5880 Ashmill Dr, plano TX 75024. They haven't updated it on their websites or even on yelp. The staff and Dr. Angolbaldo were friendly. I came in for my consultation for a mommy makeover.. The wait was kinda long I spent almost 2 hours in the office and just about 15 mins speaking with the Dr. He was nice and knowledgeable, however I did have a few concerns.. because I felt he didn't pay attention to a few things when we were speaking. Maybe it's because I was overwhelming him with everything I'm wanting to get done etc... This is my first consult so I don't know if this typical. However his work is great saw tons of before and after especially on patients that lost tons of weight like myself. Overall my experience was great, if I decide to get my surgery here then I'll be able to provide a more accurate review, but as far as their hospitality and the office is beautiful! read more

I have been going to Renaissance Plastic Surgery & Med Spa for a little over 6 months to get laser hair removal of my Brazilian area. Every time I come there, the women are so incredibly accommodating. In the past, I have used someone else for my treatments but today I had Savanna. She was so sweet and explained when the areas were going to be more intense of a pain level. We also discussed other treatments that would help with scarring that I am self conscious about. I went to Savannah for LHR on my underarms in 11/18. I would like to get other areas done as well, but wanted to start with my underarms first. On a pain scale of 1-10, mine was about a 3. It wasn't bad at all, just a little uncomfortable as expected. Savannah kept me comfortable though and we were able to finish treatment in a matter of minutes...love it! I've heard that it can take about 6 treatments for full hair removal, however after just 1 treatment, I've only shaved maybe 4 times over the past 6 weeks and I can tell a huge good difference already. I received a gift certificate for $100.00 for Christmas 2016 and did not see the typing on the back where it states "Expires 90 from purchase date". Since it does not say days, weeks etc., I assumed the company would honor my gift certificate. Unfortunately, the front desk manager would not honor this incorrectly typed gift certificate. In my experience, most gift certificates either expire in 12 months, so I am very disappointed that this company will not honor mine. read more

I recently got a breast reduction and I had the best experience ever! This was my first time having cosmetic surgery and I was nervous to say the least. I have now visited Renaissance Plastic Surgery 4 times for laser hair removal on my legs, under arms, and brazilian and I can honestly tell you I cannot believe my results! Just on the first session with Renee, the esthetician at RPS, I saw an immense difference. The laser that Renee uses has the biggest head attachment I have ever seen, and I have been to plenty of locations for laser hair removal! The bigger head allows for the areas to get done in half the time. The laser also has an iced cooling system on the head so it provides relief when it comes in contact with the skin!  I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), which for those that don't know causes my testosterone levels to be higher than majority of women. Hair removal is a long life struggle for me, I have spent thousands of dollars towards removing my unwanted hair, and majority of the time I have had laser hair removal done, I have never been this pleased. Irritation is my number one battle, especially in the creased areas of the body, as well as the most visible, my legs! Between my sessions I have only shaved 2 times in 6 weeks because the follicles were so very well treated! I definitely suggest you trying this place out. They are very professional and sweet, and just seeing the huge amount of red bumps (successfully zapped hair follicles) on my legs after each treatment, I keep leaving here looking forward to my next visit! After I finish my laser hair removal, I look forward to having a consult about my acne scars! They have a number of options so far that I can tell including fraxel, Co2, IPL photofacials, chemical peels etc! They seriously have everything there. Best to do more research. I am semi happy with the results. There were 2 really bad staff members and because of her mistake I had to pay $2,000 extra. The doctor refused to correct this error. His wife does most of the billing and paper work. After I had the surgery I went to another surgeon because Dr. Angbaldo did not stay true to his word about fixing the work if I was not happy with it. The other doctor who is much more reputable said they they see a lot of Dr. Angobaldo's patients. I don't have the money to fix it right now. I would if they hadn't over charged me with hidden fees. I tried to challenge it with Care Credit. The scars are AWFUL!!!! I had to have a small tumor removed this year and after coming to in recovery the doctor mentioned about my breast augmentation and the scars. He wanted to know who the doctor was that did such a poor job. It's really sad it ended up like this. I give this review 2 stars because at least when my clothes are on they look decent and work just fine. I am not happy they are uneven, the bad scaring, and the over charging they didn't mention to me at all. If you are willing to take the risk and deal with his creepy demeanor then go here. RIPOFF!! I went there for a facial consultation. I have very thin face, the () from my nose to my chin and I feel older than my 48 years. I saved money from a 2nd job for plastic surgery thinking I would have either resurfacing or filler. Never having anything done, I was very nervous. The staff was nice. Then the Doctor came in and basically told merest results would be to have a face lift. I didn't want a facelift and certainly didn't have the money for it so I said I would keep saving and that's when he suggested he inject filler. I agreed. he said you will look fantastic before you leave here. The results are immediate and I think you'll be very happy. So I had it right then. the Doctor said I would need 2 vials of the filler. I said ok. Hurt like hell. My face was in pain, swollen and already bruising when I left. Oh, and when I paid it was $375 more than what he told me because he had to use more than what he thought but didn't say so during the process. I didn't have enough money and argued that I didn't agree to that price. I had a sheet of paper with the info they gave me to read before the injections with the total price on it... I signed it so why where they able to add without my consent? So she tried to get me to open a credit card to pay for the rest right there. My face is hurting and she's telling me I can't leave without paying the full total. What was I suppose to do sell my car to them? I was so embarrassed that I'm in front of other patients discussing my financials. My credit isn't great due to a divorce and I knew I wouldn't be approved for the care credit card. I borrowed money from my brother to pay it off but I can tell you that the pain swelling and bruising lasted longer than the filler did. I look exactly the same after the swelling subsided and the bruising went away which took about 10 days. Actually the swelling was gone by the next evening but the bruises were everywhere and lasted 10 days if not longer. I had a lump on my cheek the size of a marble for about 4 days. The girls at work said they had filler without any bruising. The doctor's nurse called me a couple weeks later and I told her it didn't work and she said oh that's too bad, Doctor Angobaldo said you needed a face lift but we tried to help you with filler but I guess it wasn't enough. What? I didn't insist on filler at all, in fact I was ready to leave after he said a face lift would be the best solution. When I said Ok thanks... that's when he said the next best thing would be a liquid face lift with filler. At no time did he say it may or may not work. I don't feel they cared about me, just about what I could pay. I made it clear that I had saved for a year and I don't make a lot of money. Don't go there! read more

Another great experience with Dr. Angobaldo! I am a returning customer who left satisfied again with his practice. The building is stylishly decorated with a lavish waiting area. The lobby staff are friendly and attentive. I am always greeted by name and have even had follow up phone calls and emails with regards to my satisfaction. There is little to no wait time. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Dr. Angobaldo is always so patient with me and listens to what concerns I have. His warm smile and calming bedside manner relaxes you so that any anxiety you might have, disappears immediately. He customizes my visit based on what I hope to accomplish. I have never felt pressured to get more procedures than I need, but he fairly instructs me on what will serve me best. The nursing staff is professional and courteous.
