I am male. Every so often, I have used excellent dermatologists that gave me botox before but with mixed, mostly mediocre results. I have had filler from one of the best reviewed Doctor's in my area with mediocre to poor results. When I read the reviews here of Dr. Adelglass, I didn't know what to believe. I knew nothing about him except what I read on yelp before my visit last week. I came for botox for some of my age lines and he didn't try to upsell me. I asked him about filler for an area that really needed it. Both botox and filler results have been excellent and I am _not_ exaggerating. The results look so natural and really made a difference. I just saw a photo of myself from 10 years ago. I realized that was the look he gave me yet it doesn't look phony or obvious - its appropriate for my age. Barbara was incredibly compassionate and helpful throughout the process. All I can say is the experience was worth it!! Thank you Dr. Adelglass. Thank you Barbara. p.s. For all those tattoos with regrets, this is hands down the best place to go when wanting to get rid of bad choices. Picosure laser tattoo removal will remove tattoos quickly and less painfully than all of the other lasers out there. And skintastic is the only business that has the technology. It took me 3-4 months to write this review. After going to Mexico in October my melasma had a small flare up on my cheeks. There aren't alot of options but I saw something called picosure that could temporarily help the issue. I immediately called and scheduled an appointment to get picosure. When I arrived at the appointment I consulted with a doctor who had NO IDEA why I was there. After re-explaining my issue and telling her exactly what I wanted she advised me to do chemical peels, hydrafacials, pico, etc... I scheduled an appointment to do a hydrafacial one week before my hydrafacial because that was what was recommended to clean my pores prior to the picosure treatment. Tina was who I was advised to get my hydrafacial from so I went with her. Upon arriving to my appointment Tina came out and told me she had called to reschedule because I was there 2 MINUTES late and somehow the appointment after me was already there because she called her to come in. I didn't allow her to tell me my appointment was canceled considering she DID NOT call me and I told her I drove an hour and a half! Seemed more like scheduling issues in my opinion. Anyway, she went ahead and did my hydrofacial and told the girl AFTER me who got there early that she would "hook her up", which left me thinking WTF are you about to do to my face then?! So I went into the office to get a hydrafacial and it looked like Tina was using the same attachments from the person before me. I never saw her open a new attachment but I went with it because I assumed that couldn't be something a trained professional would do! The treatment itself actually hurt, it was not a pleasant experience due to Tina only trying to upsell me on different facial packages and asking for me to leave her a good review over and over again. My skin looked AWFUL after she was done. My pores were the biggest I have ever seen them look and I knew something was wrong. I started breaking out within days. I text her and let her know and she kept saying it was normal for the skin to purge and kept urging me to leave a 5 star review for her. Since then it has been 3-4 months and my face looks worse than when I went through puberty. I have horrible acne constantly and I NEVER had anything close to this skin before. I am the type of person who maybe gets 5 pimples a year. Now my face has acne scars and reoccurring acne in a pretty severe way. I want to post pics but I'm truly embarrassed of how bad I look! Now to the picosure! A week after getting the facial I went in for the picosure! My face had already started breaking out but I was assured it would go away after picosure and that I would see results RIGHT AFTER getting picosure! I did not use numbing cream because I was told my results would be better without. There was pain but it wasn't too bad, actually felt like the hydrafacial was worse. What I didn't like was how the lady who did my picosure told me that she could burn a hole in my face with the laser if she did not do it properly. That left me pretty scared! The picosure only left my face red and I had no results after one treatment on a mild case of melasma. I am currently trying to get my face back to how clear it has been for years. It has been a true struggle and I am contemplating taking oral medication to cure my acne. I recieved a text message from Tina a few months ago saying she had left skintastic, didn't really care except she screwed up my face! Then I got an email saying skintastic in Plano was closing down! This is all so messed up. I regret going there, my face looks jacked up! Spent hundred of dollars for my face to look worse than going through puberty. read more

Put off before even getting an appointment, the girl on the phone didn't know what she was talking about, I've phoned prior to this and been told $300 per 2sq inches now I've been told $350 per 1sq inch which is a very small amount. Horrible. I had 1/2 cm skin tag removed. She completely botched my forearm. I did everything as told, kept it bandaged and used aquaphor. It was now 2.5 cm large. I was told by coworkers it looked horrendous and I went back a few days later. She assured me it was fine and healing as it should be. It bubbled up like a gross blood blister. This was 9 months ago and my arm is scarred with a brown/pink 2.5 cm mark. Clearly visible and disgusting. I have never been so infuriated. It wasn't even precancerous and I have a horrible scar. Shitty doctor and rude. DO NOT GO! If the dr is not there why don't you realize my arm is botched and you fix it! read more

I have been seeing Dr. Adelglass did the last year for Botox and the last two times I have been beyond disappointed. I work in healthcare and the last time I called and told them I paid $600 and saw little to no results. His wife cane in when I returned because of my complaint and explained that they like to be conservative. I had a second round of Botox and still little to no results. I do not care about the cost I just want the results I paid for. I am not sure if they do not store their Botox properly or if it is expired, but no one could tell I got it including myself. Unfortunately I am now looking for another plastic surgeon or dermatologist to get my Botox done. I would not recommend spending your money here for Botox specifically. read more

-Today I had my second laser hair removal appointment with Darshana for my lower jawline/lower face. Here is an explanation of how it went, and how terrible she was to me and just a warning that no one should get any procedures done by her. -Didn't address me when walking into the room -Seemed to be in a rush, unfriendly -Scolded me for not shaving my face prior to the laser hair removal, which I wasn't even aware of (my first laser appointment was with Kacie) -Asked how the last time was, I explained some hair I didn't have before started growing, and she told me that its my fault for letting someone remove hair where there's no hair. How is that my problem that someone in the clinic she works in did laser treatment on places I didn't have skin -Rude to my mother, did not answer questions, gave extremely rude looks. -Asked her if I should take tylenol, she scolded me for not taking it earlier -Asked if I could have a break because I was in pain, told me I could either go home and come back or she would finish at the same pace because she had other patients (she did not have other patients) -At the beginning she was giving command like instructions and forcefully marking my face with a marker -I didn't even feel comfortable enough to ask for any more breaks because of her attitude that made it seem like I was an inconvenience. -If she didn't want to be there, she should have cancelled the appointment -It is not okay for someone who is doing a medical procedure to take out their angst on a patient. -She would do 8-10 laser points before stopping. This was very painful and I asked her multiple times for a break and she would not stop. I had to move my face for her to stop. Even then, she would ask "are you done?". -My mother was motioning her to please slow down as she could see the pain on my face and she gave her dirty looks and not stopping -When I asked for a break, she said she didn't have any time, as she had other patients, there was no one else in the lobby. When booking an appointment, it is a 30 minute slot. -I arrived at around 3:55 for my 4 o clock appointment, she took me in immediately like she was rushing, I exited the office at 4:08. -My last appointment was fine with Kasie. She was kind, kept me well informed of what she was doing on my face, and went slowly paying attention to the pain I was feeling. Doing 3/4 laser points at a time and asking how the pain was. Take my advice, do not do laser with Darshana. She was awful, rude, unprofessional. She should not be qualified to work with people. If you want to be treated like a dog, go ahead. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this facility and their staff. I recently had a IPL facial there. She was incredibly through and made me feel comfortable right away, as I was a bit nervous! I thought about whether or not I should do this review for quite some time. But I do want to share my experience so that others are well informed of what could happen with Skintastic. I had smart lipo done last year in May I had my upper and lower abdomen and my upper and lower back and flanks done. It's coming up on my one year anniversary of the first cosmetic surgery. I'm 5'9 and my weight ranges from 195-200lbs. My intentions were to get rid of stubborn belly fat, back fat, and love handles. Today my body looks like it looked maybe a year a two before this procedure which does not say much. Today almost a year after the procedure my abdomen still protrudes with fat my back fat is unchanged the ONLY improvement I see is my love handles. Now with that being said the staff was very nice to me with every encounter. My only issue was at my post surgical visit I asked about my back and the lack of change and the doctor told me it was just loose skin and when he saw that my stomach was still FAT he pushed into my abdomen and said that's just bone... Well let me also share with you that I am a nurse!!!!! I very well know the difference between adipose tissue and SKIN and I most certainly know there are no BONES in my abdomen. So not only am I not happy with my procedure I was especially upset that my intelligence was tested with the doctors remarks... like I said I started not to say anything but I know I worked really hard to save the $7000 for this procedure to not be satisfied with the results. I've read the other reviews which are great so maybe Skintastic is great at all the services they offer EXCEPT smartlipo... and to prove I'm not being malious I referred a friend to them a while back for a different procedure and I'll be damned if he wasn't told "Oh that's just skin" SMH... read more

I was really looking forward to my free consult at this location in Dallas. It was easy to set up my appointment as the phones are answered right away. The ladies answering calls are super friendly and helpful. I had my appointment scheduled at 1pm on a Friday and was told I had to give my credit card number as they would charge me if I did not show up to my appointment. It was pouring down rain the day I was supposed to go in but I managed to make it downtown in terrible traffic and panicking slightly because I was going to be a few minutes late...then I couldnt find the place. I called the office to find out where exactly to go and thankfully they directed me. I was soaking wet by the time I get there.. socks and all. I go to enter the place.. it was locked... I rang the doorbell, knocked, tried to open the door multiple times..nothing. I called the office again and they said that there was supposed to be someone there for sure and that they would text him/her and would call me back. No call back. I stood there in the cold rain for 5-10 min longer and called back. They said they texted the staff member but no response, and they were so sorry but to wait a little longer. They would call him/her again and would call me back. It was 1:15 at this point and I couldn't wait much longer. I asked the woman to please call me back to figure out what to do next. She said she would but never did. I am assuming I didnt get charged for the appt but have not received my statement yet. I am very disappointed and irritated that I wasted my time rushing somewhere only to get soaked. read more

I knew i should have trusted my gut instinct of not having an Uptown doctor perform a lipo & fat transfer surgery. He might be great with Botox but I had the worst experience with surgery, he left visible incisions all over my stomach and sides. They failed to mention he was left handed. He was supposed to remove fat from certain areas and it only looks like he poked the area because it looks exactly the same as before. When I asked Dr. Adelglass about the area, he suggested charging me an extra $5k to fix the issue. He also said he was removing fat from my upper back and after the fact when no incision was made in that he area he says they don't perform that area, therefore he lied. The day after my surgery I contacted them to get pain killers, left several voicemail's but they went unanswered. My post-op was not what I expected either, they were rude and not considerate at all. I guess after you pay them they really don't have to deal with you anymore, go figure. I will not recommend this place to anyone. My advise it to do extensive research before surgery and really pay attention to reviews that pertain to your procedure. I felt cheated with this doctor. read more
