What doctors office asks you to sign one while trying to offer a small amount of money for the nightmare you lived and the 35k it took to fix what was done there. Literally this alone is viewed as medical coercion by the board. How quickly he lawyered up after I stated, I would not sign his non-disclosure agreement and report him to the medical board for . We are not the same. Thank god. I have reviewed more than 6k peer reviewed medical cases and brought them to m&m reviews. I know when things are off. And as of yet- asking people sign NDAs to cya - That's called medical coercion in our industry. He's so kind and walked me through every detail. His nurses were just as wonderful. I'm deathly scared of needles and they did an amazing job of distracting me. The entire surgery process was so easy. They have you in and out in no time. Dr. Choucair personally called me the night before surgery and the evening after my surgery. His nurse then checked on me the following day. On day 3 I got another personal call from Dr. Choucair to check on me and see how I was doing. They really make you feel cared for and not just another number. I would definitely recommend Dr Choucair to anyone. He's a wonderful doctor and it's an awesome facility.

She initially texted asking what time would work for a call. We agreed on a time, but the call never came. Seventeen minutes after the scheduled time we texted to ask if it was still happening. She did not respond until 11:37 the following day, asking when would be a good time to speak. We replied that we were flexible, but again received no response. I then tried calling the office directly to schedule the consultation. Monica refused to schedule it, citing HIPAA, and would not even provide a general price range to confirm Dr. Bader was within our budget. Then my wife tried calling the office. The receptionist said Monica would email her. She did, asking what time my wife would be available the following Monday. My wife replied with a suggested time -- and once again received no confirmation or response. After calling again on Monday, my wife finally got Monica on the phone for a "pre-consultation" call. Instead of scheduling the consultation, Monica insisted she pick a surgery date first, claiming the consult date depended on when my wife planned to have surgery? (We are ready to move forward immediately once we find the right surgeon.) When my wife mentioned we were planning to travel to Dallas for in-person consults with Dr. Bader along with two other surgeons, Monica abruptly ended the call mid-conversation, saying she would call back in an hour. She never called back. This was the FIFTH TIME she blew us off. In researching rhinoplasty we have spoken with several practices from Dallas to Turkey to Beverly Hills. Every office we interacted with was courteous and professional. Except this one. If I ran a business and discovered an employee was treating prospective patients this way, I would be mortified.

From the moment I walked in, the dark-haired woman at the front desk was rude and unwelcoming. I drove 40 minutes for this appointment and paid a $50 consultation fee, so I expected at minimum for my appointment time to be respected. The nurse who brought me back was actually very sweet and professional, and she was the only positive part of the experience. I was taken into a room and then sat there waiting for 40 minutes past my scheduled appointment time, and the doctor still never came in. No one gave me an update or explained why I was waiting so long. At that point, I decided to leave. What made the situation even more frustrating was that the manager came outside after me once I had already walked out and said the doctor was available and asked, "They didn't get you?" That honestly made the situation worse. If the doctor was available, why was I sitting alone in a room for 40 minutes with no communication? I understand doctors can run behind, but this wasn't simply about waiting. it was the lack of communication, organization, and professionalism, especially after paying for the consultation and driving 40 minutes to be there. I came here because I was seriously considering trusting this practice with my surgery. Unfortunately, my experience before I could even meet the doctor made me uncomfortable moving forward.

However, I had a very pleasant first appointment with Dr. Spencer at the Dermatology & Skin Surgery Institute in North Texas this past week. I've had some actinic keratosis (a precursor to skin cancer) about 14 years ago, and I also have some occasional acne and general aging skin issues. I've been figuring I needed a checkup with a dermatologist since I turned forty just a couple of years ago. I chose Dr. Spencer because he appears to be a serious skin doctor, as shown by a number of academic papers he's written, and he also appears to have been schooled in some of the latest modern treatments for skin conditions. I had virtually no waiting, and the Dermatology Institute's office staff were very professional and efficient. Dr. Brent was brisk, knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions capably. He examined my skin, identified minor spots of sun-damage, and removed some questionable patches very adeptly. Although he worked rapidly, I felt I was given very personal attention, and I feel a lot more confident about any future dermatologist visits I might need. Very cool to meet someone who's so intelligent and warm!
