I signed up for a "model call" for full-face contouring with Carly at Magnetic Aesthetics after…read moresaving for years and carefully researching filler. I explained multiple times that I wanted a very natural result and was scared of looking overdone. During my consultation, the telehealth nurse advised against filler based on my medical history, but Carly proceeded anyway. I was told I would need around 3-4 syringes, but ended up being injected with 6 syringes of RHA4 filler in my cheeks, chin, jawline, smile lines, and lips. Within days, the filler became extremely hard and painful. By week two, my entire face swelled severely, including around my eyes. I repeatedly contacted Carly and was told it was "normal swelling." I ultimately had to see my own doctor for steroids because the swelling was so severe. Even after two rounds of dissolving with Carly, I remained swollen, uneven, and in pain. I then saw a cosmetic MD who used ultrasound and found widespread inflammation and filler placed improperly in multiple areas, including near my tear ducts and facial nerves. I now require multiple expensive ultrasound-guided dissolving treatments to correct the damage. I tried very hard to handle this privately and fairly before writing a review. I asked only for partial reimbursement to help cover corrective care and was offered back only a small portion of what I paid, despite the complications and ongoing medical expenses. This experience has been emotionally, physically, and financially devastating. Please thoroughly research providers, ask detailed questions, and make sure your injector has proper medical oversight and complication management available before proceeding. Not to mention her Dr not prescribing me steroids, telling me that it wouldn't help with inflammation Her office is not what's pictured on her website , it's a small salon suite , and her instagram model pics are digitally altered I'm embarrassed to even post my pics for the whole world to see. I'm left scared, heartbroken, and in debt. I don't even think I will go back to what I looked like before
