It is a doctor's office environment (not a spa) and the staff seems efficient at their jobs although they do need to keep their voices down when complaining about patients...they probably don't realize just how much their voices carry into the lobby. The guy was really in shape so I imagine he knows his stuff but I felt he had a very difficult time communicating the information to me. I have pharmaceutical experience so it wasn't like he was speaking over my level, he just needs to practice his delivery or something. Anyway, I left feeling slightly overwhelmed at how much he talked AT me but I guess it's better than not having any consultation. I will hold my decision until I've had multiple visits He administered the shot to my hip which was rather painless. Subsequently, I had itching, it's been sore and numb for 2 weeks. I've yet to go back for another shot to allow the side effects to subside. I can't definitively attribute the symptoms to the shot (even though the symptoms are in the shot area) because it felt like I was bitten by something but it never bruised it was only red and swollen. Anyway, I will discuss it with the practitioner on my next visit and report back to y'all. BTW: I take the Slim Shot from Diet by Design in my arm and have the typical soreness but have not had any side effects after 6 shots. I was able to go in and meet QC and experience this amazing healing experience. QC told me things about my body I've never been diagnosed with- scar tissue from ovarian cysts, stagnant lymph that is stuck in my breast tissue, hormones out of whack...well, everyone who has been around me can see that one, but you get the picture! QC walked me through the entire process as she worked. She explained that your body is like a lake, and when your meridians are blocked and your interstitial fluid can't move freely nothing works properly. When you're interstitial fluid is free, your body can heal as God intended it to. The treatment itself does not hurt, even though I'm black and blue in some places where I was very toxic. It's not painless, but tolerable. I also did a facial detox and I can't even begin to explain what a noticeable difference there is in my face. I had no clue I had so much fluid trapped in my face!
