Every aspect of this Med Spa is top tier. The ladies at the front desk are always kind, friendly and helpful on the phone and in person, all while having smiles on their faces. I've been seeing Melissa for almost two years, she's a saint of a human, making you feel as if you're best friends while keeping her professionalism. She takes time to truly listen to your goals, wants and needs and plans the treatment accordingly. I've always only had Botox, which turns out phenomenal every single time. My last appointment we really had fun doing Botox, Skinvive around my mouth & Voluma. First let me say I am a whimp in her chair no matter how often I go I'm always nervous, Melissa has patience to stop when needed making sure you're comfortable the entire process and keeps the conversation light and airy to ease my nerves. Second I went in planning to do a different treatment, once I expressed my concerns we discussed other options and changed the plan. She said to me "can you trust me and explained why she decided on another plan." My response "ABSOLUTELY". I trust she knows me and the level of expectation based on our conversations. Continuing from my recently edited review on 7/2/24: Then she said that I could be seeing the lines because I'm sleeping on my left side (because SHE noticed her "11's" being more pronounced when she slept on her left side). Not once did she ask which side I sleep on (it's not my left!), so it frustrated me that she felt okay to make that assumption. She kept insisting that the line isn't visible, AS I WAS POINTING IT OUT TO HER WHILE HOLDING A MIRROR! She then leaned back against one of the counters and said I had 2 options. First, she said there wasn't anything she could do and that I just had to let it be. Then she said I could spend money to buy additional units to inject, but she didn't seem like she was interested in truly helping me figure out a reasonable solution to an issue that was created by a service from their medspa. I left feeling like I'd wasted my time (and lunch hour), was pretty much dismissed and made to feel unheard. Ironically, if I had actually felt like she was hearing what I had repeatedly tried to convey and suggested that the issue might be resolved with the purchase of a few additional units I would have gladly paid for it. Instead, she tried to make me feel like my concerns were not valid and then showed absolutely ZERO concern that I was leaving their facility more frustrated and without a solution. They (including the ladies at the reception area) seemed more concerned about getting out of there since they will be closed for the rest of the week for the July 4th holiday. Maybe other clients have just had the good fortune of having better experiences and better people to provide their services to them. This just doesn't happen to be the case for me. I have been using this spa for five years! The staff are fantastic, pricing is good and they give many opportunities to get services and product at discounts through online specials. I have had multiple services and not once was I dissatisfied. I see Kristin for my facials and lazer, and Amy for injectables. The staff are educated on latest cosmetic procedures and there is always a nurse practitioner available to answer medical questions. I've been to every location this company has and am blown away by not only their professionalism but also their stellar customer service. I've has massages, facials, haircuts, hydra facials, Kybella and Juvederm and Restylane fillers with this company and plan on adding other services as well. Melissa T. is the first person I've ever let stick needles in my face (lol) and I couldn't be happier with my choice. She does fabulous work, nothing crazy or overstated (unless you are into that and ask, I suppose). How have I never reviewed Hidden Door Spa? I love love love this spa, best hidden gem in Southlake. I signed up for the VIP program in 2020 after resolving to take better care of my skin as I entered my 40s and haven't looked back. It gives me discounts on products and a selection of services at discounted prices for a flat monthly rate. So worth it! I now do monthly facials, pelleve, IPL and peels. Kristen is the best aesthetician ever and puts me on a preventative sequential program while working within the services on the program as well as my budget. I'm so much happier with my skin and I know I'm taking good care of it with premium products. They have great monthly specials on everything from haircuts to Botox so it's worth following them on social media and signing up for email. I started getting my hair cut here due to a $40 special and have been really happy with both Jen and Katie for cuts and color. Their prices are way better than at my dermatologist and they're friendly and helpful. I can't say enough about how great this place is, check it out! My main issue with massage therapists is that they can't get in there and give my back the beating it needs. I don't need soft, gentle hands, I need some rough handling to get my back in shape. Capala, the fantastic massage therapist at Hidden Door Medspa, has been the first female massage therapist I've ever had who was able to deliver. The clinic itself is a little strange, because it is a clinic. I was totally thrown by the unmarked door with a box for lab samples hanging off of it. Once inside, there was information about liposuction, dermabrasion, and all those other types of cosmetic enhancements. Not quite what I was expecting, but I was moved into the massage room which was much more typical. Capala asked questions to make sure she knew what I wanted and expected and then followed through like a pro. She only talked to check in, and followed what I asked for exactly. It was perfection. Even better, after the massage she showed me some therapy tools and moves that I haven't ever been showed, and I've been through some serious physical therapy for my wonky back. This was my first visit to HDM. Scheduled a microdermabrasion facial but was convinced to upgrade to a hydrafacial. Sounded like a good idea, but it was just ok. I've had facials before and I'm used to the esthetician doing at least an examination first to see what she's dealing with. Not this time. A VERY quick hot towel was applied (no steam to open the pores first?) and then she jumped right in to using this device that felt like a wet microderm wand, scraping it across my face haphazardly. It didn't hurt - but she didn't seem to really get my entire face: focused on half my forehead for a minute, then jumped to my chin, then to my cheek, not really getting thorough coverage. Same progression for the extractor and the infusion. Just didn't seem to be very thorough and the esthetician didn't seem to be very experienced. She never applied anything to my undereye area which is what I noted on the intake sheet was my top area of concern. The whole thing lasted 30 minutes. What I originally booked a 50 minute session. I guess my "upgrade" was a shorter procedure? Overall not that impressed. I've had better for less money. Won't likely return. read more

I have been a loyal customer for over 5 years. I have been very please with Michelle so this is not a reflection of her or her work. She is fantastic and I would recommend her to anyone. My legitimate complaint is with the manager, Ashleigh. I joined their VIP program ($119 a month and get 1 free service a month) and I was entered into a contest, which was get your service a month, and use at home products. Take a photo of your face on day 1, and when contest is over, the person with the best results wins. I did this religiously. I was working very very hard to win this contest. As the prize was a FREE year of VIP services. Every month, I would talk with Michelle about winning and ask the front desk staff when the contest was going to be over. No one really had any details on the contest or when it was ending. I was in the salon on Tuesday, and I inquired about the contest. Again, no one had any information on it. Later this day, I receive an email that the winner had been chosen. I called the manager immediately and asked why I wasn't included in the contest (my final photo had not been taken nor submitted). She then said I didn't buy any product. I said I purchased all sort of product. She then said I had to buy it from them. I said, I found it cheaper else where, so I went the cheaper route. She said, well you aren't eligible to win because you didn't buy product through us. I tried to explain to her that as a customer, no one ever told me I had to buy from their salon, and that the staff had NO information about the contest and I asked her to reconsider. NOPE. She refused to reconsider. I asked for a few FREE months of services (VIP ) and she said NOPE. So, I said it doesn't really matter what the results were, the winner (no name was provided, no photos, no data nothing) was selected on who spent the most money. She then stated she felt attacked by me. Attacked????? Really, as I am trying to be treated fairly and given a chance to enter a contest I have been working hard at for a year??? Mind you the winner was going to receive 12 free months of VIP which equates to around $1450 a year. She also told me the contest wasn't a big deal and was suppose to be fun to encourage you to do your home care. I stated "not a big deal" clearly not to you, but it is to me. I have reached out to the owner who has not returned my phone calls. This is my last resort to let people know, while I have been a loyal consumer to Hidden Door Med Spa (Southlake, Alliance and Roanoke - which is now closed) for years.... I feel like they only care about $$$$ and not about their consumers and running a fair and legitimate contest. read more
