I had Gortex lip implants put in 20 years ago, and 10l years ago they started to retract on my top lip. Gortex lip implant removal can ruin your natural lips, and most Doctors do not want to take them out, due to possible damage. In attempt to fix the problem, I've had fillers by different people/Doctors, and it never looked normal, and sometimes looked much worse. Most injectors are not used to injecting fillers in a patient that has Gortex implants (and yes I've tried different kinds of fillers, in hopes one would work better. I researched and found Dr. Jejurikar, and made an appointment to see if he could help me. I was, and am so impressed with this Doctor, his bedside manner, his staff, and the time he took with me during the consultation. He actually decided to go ahead and do the procedure after the consultation. He gave me a dental block, then used a small tool, and went into my lip and separated the scar tissue from the Gortex strands. This made a small channel in the lip to assist in proper placement of Juvéderm, as well as make the lip less "firm" feeling. It's impossible to inject fillers in places where there may be a lot of scar tissue, and expect it to look good! After he did this procedure, he injected Juvéderm Voluma (2 syringes) and the results were amazing, compared to what I was used too! It's now two weeks later, and the difference is unbelievable. Happy! So, for the ones out there, that made this same mistake with Gortex implants, you need to go to Dr. Jakar for a consultation. Thank you Dr. Jejurikar, you're a miracle worker!!! read more

I knew within 20 secs of my zoom call that he was the ONLY doctor for me. He was honest and forthcoming about each and every question I had.
