I waited 2 years to write this review since the doctors asked me to wait and wait and wait to see better results over the time and this never came. Maybe they are good doing another kind of surgery but not with belly and arms liposuction, not even a word about breast lifting. I'm not happy at all with the result and I kept going there even 1 year and a half after surgery. At this point, I think they were laughing in my face. Now the worst part of the upper arms liposuction is a scar that they said is something that use to happen in this kind of surgeries but I have consulted 3 other specialist surgeons (including a renowned one in LA) and they keep saying it was malpractice in all the areas they did surgery to me. I had looked around the city and surrounding areas who could do an abdominoplasty/tummy tuck without general anesthesia by a plastic surgeon who had the knowledge and expertise. Dr. David Azouz and Dr. Solomon Azouz - both board certified plastic surgeons who have exceptional expertise did a phenomenal job. They took their time in understanding what needed to happen and used the latest advanced tools to help with healing and recovery. Post-op they called me daily, supported me holistically. Not just from incision healing and recovery but also from a nutritional and mind health support. I am so thankful for finding them and for having my surgery done by them. I had originally booked with other surgeons a few weeks prior to meeting both Dr. Azouz's- and felt that something was not right based on the duration of the surgery they had told me. I had Gynomastia surgery performed by this facility about three years ago/ The cost all-in was about $25000. Following surgery I had a deep crevice extending horizontally from my areola to under my arm. I was told various things. It will get better with time. It was there before. I am now recovering from my second attempt to correct the initiual surgery having been informed that the initial had been overly aggressive. So, another $40,000 odd in and I am waiting to see what happens next. Side note. No other provider charged a consultation fee and no other provider required the purchase of one's own compression vest at WalMart to be dressed in following surgery. Too late for me. Hope it is not too late for you. In my opinion, a poor business model. read more

I have breast augmentation two years ago. Dr. AZOUZ removed both previous implants. He recommended a DD. I took his advise and they stuck straight out NOT NATURAL, looked ridiculous for my body size. The left breast was stitched poorly and opened up allowing bugs, as he called it, into my body. Azouz took the left implant out and did not insert anything. This lead to my breast tissue stuck to my muscle. It looked like a mastectomy. It was horrible. I moved to Arizona and went to another physician that had successfully inserted a breast tissue expander. I am finally in the process of having a normal and healthy breast. Do not consider using Dr AZOUZ for anything complicated!!! It has been painful, embarrassing and I have spent well over 25k for this mess. I sent a photo to AZOUZ with not a response at all. Dr. Azouz is a gifted surgeon who has succeeded where numerous others have failed and enabled me to live my life without constant pain. I'm a healthy, young marathon runner, so when I started to have significant pain in my upper thigh that kept me from running, I was highly concerned. I visited 2 orthopedic surgeons, both of whom said imaging was clear and that they couldn't find anything wrong with me. They both referred me to physical therapy where I wasted months of my time and thousands of dollars and saw no improvement. Finally, someone suggested that I should see someone in a different surgical specialty, so I reluctantly went to Dr. Azouz, wondering what a plastic surgeon could possibly to help. Within a few minutes of his first examination, he said he felt a mass in my thigh he wanted to remove. We were a bit incredulous that he could find something in 2 minutes that numerous surgeouns hadn't found over the course of a dozen visits, but we agreed to move forward. The following morning he removed from my thigh a fibrotic lymph node which had been pressing on a nerve, and I was running pain-free several weeks later. I was shocked that the other surgeons who specialize in that area of the body could not have figured this out. About a year later I started having knee pain. I looked for the best knee surgeons I could find and tried everything from cortisone shots to physical therapy. Nothing helped, so eventually one of the orthopedic surgeons concluded I had plica syndrome and performed an arthroscopic surgery. However, even after surgery, the pain continued to increase in severity and became chronic over the course of 10 months; it would keep me up at night and was literally ruining my life. Post-operative imaging looked clean and multiple orthopedic surgeons -- the best I could find in Dallas at multiple top-rated clinics -- agreed that I should just wait it out and it would eventually get better, but it never did. Finally, with nowhere else to turn, I went back to Dr. Azouz hoping for another miracle cure. After a couple visits, he felt reasonably confident that the lump that had developed over the arthroscopic entry points should be removed. In the surgery that followed, he removed a significant amount of scar tissue, and also repaired a hernia he found on the tendon. Once the surgery healed, the chronic pain was gone yet again! Each time I went to Dr. Azouz was a Hail Mary attempt at fixing something nobody else could fix. He initially just wanted to take a look and hadn't even planned on doing surgeries for either of them, but upon examination correctly concluded that surgeries were necessary. This whole situation brings to mind the old adage that "when you're a hammer, everything looks like a nail." All these other surgeons were so focused on the specific types of issues and surgeries they're used to that they missed what was right under their noses. Dr. Azouz, on the other hand, looked holistically at the person and the problem from all angles before he decided on an approach. I highly recommend Dr. David Azouz and Dr. Soloman Azouz to anyone suffering with lipedema. I knew for many years that something was wrong with how large my legs were, but I did not know what was wrong. I did my own research and when I suspected I had lipedema, I visited Dr. Azouz and he confirmed that I did have it. I was very nervous to discuss the surgery, but went prepared with a list of 15 questions. The doctors took their time to answer everything in detail and reassured me of any worries I may have had. Dr. Azouz removed 10.5 liters of fat from my legs. As of today (5 weeks later), I am down 19 pounds. Both doctors are very personable, informative, professional and attentive. They both called me every day for the first week to check on me. If I had a concern, I called the phone number given and would receive a call almost immediately after. It's been a month since I had gynecomastia surgery with both Dr. David Azouz and Dr. Solomon Azouz (they're a dad/son dynamic duo haha). I currently need to wear 2 compression shirts & 2 binders at all times except during showers; so I'm not able to enjoy the full benefits of wearing fitted shirts in public just yet. But even 4-5 weeks out of surgery I can notice an immediate difference in wearing fitted shirts. Prior to surgery, I would need to wear hot, sticky compression shirts or put bandaids over my nipples to mask its appearance in public. However, I'm confident that I'll no longer need to do this once I'm cleared to take off my binder! I'm so happy about this. Price-wise, expect this to be pricey for several reasons: this procedure is elective, these surgeons are very experienced, and they have generally outstanding feedback from their patients (he gave me a discount for being a healthcare worker). Dr. David Azouz is one of the most in-demand board certified plastic surgeons in Dallas. He also treats patients from all around the world and performs gynecomastia surgery very frequently as its one of his most popular procedures. He conveyed to me during my appointment that sometimes he performs over five of these procedures on different patients on a given day. Therefore, he has likely perfected every tiny surgical detail as well as its typical post-operative management. My insurance didn't cover this. However, because of their long-standing experience, I didn't have a problem with their price tag. I paid the whole thing out of pocket but I believe they offer installment plans if I'm not mistaken. As far as the surgery itself, I was given IV sedation with Propofol and Versed; there's no need for intubation. Of course anesthesia is individualized based on your history and preferences. For myself, Anesthesia was able to manage this procedure without an invasive airway (its kind of like if you've ever had a GI scope - similar level of sedation). The CRNA I had was pretty chill and answered all my questions pre-operatively. It takes place at an outpatient surgery center near Medical City Dallas and you can go home the same day with a designated driver after recovering in PACU. The day will go like this: you go to the surgery center, you change into a gown, a nurse inserts an IV, and you walk yourself into the OR. During this time, the CRNA (or whoever is the Anesthesia provider) places EKG stickers on your back and you lie down on the OR table while they restrain both your arms. The last thing I remember is this and Dr. David Azouz starting a pleasant conversation with me (I believe he does this to calm your anxiety and assess your level of consciousness to see if you're adequately sedated for the procedure; at this time the CRNA is pushing sedating medicines through your IV). I honestly don't even recall seeing my CRNA pushing meds through my IV. I was asleep during the procedure. The next thing I remember is being in the car at CVS Pharmacy with my family telling me they're going to go inside and get my pain meds real quick. Side note, my family said I was trying to jump out of the car on the highway on the way home hahahahahaha). I don't even remember waking up in PACU. I got home, they got me dressed in my PJs, and I went to sleep. I don't really recall much else from that day. To your benefit, the IV meds you're given intraoperatively produce varying levels of amnesia. As far as pain, I didn't have any pain at all following the procedure. I think I was given Tylenol #3 with Codeine (I forgot tbh because I didn't use it much), but it's a narcotic for mild-moderate pain every 4-6 hours PRN). My only complaints was the soreness (like doing a chest workout) and the skin agitation I developed from the compression shirts and binders (I have a lifelong history of eczema). I did develop blisters and inflammation around my torso which was WAY more uncomfortable than the surgical sites themselves. Dr. Solomon was really nice to me and gave me free Aveeno eczema sample creams and balms as well as a prescription for a corticosteroid called Clobetasol propionate cream (which worked wonderfully). My rash quickly resolved on post-operative day 4-5 after being able to take off the compression garments, airing out my torso, showering, utilizing the creams and gel, and wearing a soft cotton undershirt to cushion my skin from the binders and compression shirts. The follow-up appointments are weekly for the first 2-3 weeks. My next one is in 2-3 weeks. Some surgeons utilize bulb drains to drain fluid from the surgical sites but Dr. Solomon and Dr. David do not. Therefore, you don't need to worry about them being taken out at a follow-up appointment. I was cleared to shower on POD 3. There are certain restrictions that they will give you. These include no heavy lifting, no bathes, and no high intensity exercise or sports. They will clear you at each follow-up appointment as to when you can resume these activities. They tal read more

I couldn't have chosen a more knowledgeable doctor to remove my implants. He asked what my ideal results would be, and then he explained exactly what would happen to obtain those results. The results of the surgery far exceeded my expectations! The after-care was amazing. He called me himself Saturday after the surgery to see how I was doing. And I had weekly appointments for a month to make sure everything was healing well. Dr. Azouz staff was courteous, friendly and , most of all, competent. In 2016 I went to see Dr. Azouz for a carpal tunnel CONSULT. All of my testing had been completed by another doctor which were forwarded to his office so the visit was a conversation in his office. He nor his staff ever performed ANY testing during my visits. I was involved in an accident and was in litigation at that time. So when the billing from his office was sent to my attorneys office, there was a charge for $500+ and we were ALL shocked. Oh...and I paid my co-pay that they verified but claimed they had no insurance information. Not sure how you know what a co-pay is if you don't call and verify with the insurance company. When I called and spoke to the office manager, I was told that they were the charges for my 'consult's. If I were coming in for plastic surgery my office visit would've only been $75. But for some unexplained reason, my office visits was $300 and $250, for a carpal tunnel consult.. (BTW, carpal tunnel surgery takes 15 minutes) The office manager was RUDE as hell and told me that they 'carried' my bill for 2 years. Let me add that they never sent a bill or called for my delinquent bill because they knew I was in the process of getting a hefty check from my lawsuit. So they waited then came out like vultures!! Dr. Azouz is either clueless that his staff is rude, incompetent and ripping people off or he's signing off on all of this craziness. While my case was not in the traditional plastic surgery realm, Dr. Azouz is a knowledgeable and skilled doctor and surgeon across the board. He found a mass in my groin (missed by all other doctors, chiropractors, and physical therapists I had visited!) and surgically removed it the next morning. He's compassionate and reassuring (especially in the OR, when most people are understandably nervous!) and truly cares about his patients. His office staff is great, too. Dr. Azouz is wonderful! His work is excellent and he truly goes above and beyond with his sense of caring and compassion. I had breast reconstruction and also blepharoplasty. When he treats you, he makes you feel at ease with the sense that he cares about you as a person, the results that you want that will make you look and feel your best.
