So I booked my first appointment with Maggie and walked in to the appointment slightly nervous. I've had a bunch of Brazilian waxes over the last couple years but for some reason still was feeling nervous! The first impression of the place was a smallish hole in the wall place but it opened up to a much larger set of rooms with many waxers. The front desk girl greeted me and I was seen quickly by Maggie. Maggie is an absolute gem! Very very nice and welcoming lady who truly seems to enjoy her work. She chatted with me and got to know more about my life which made me feel a lot better about getting waxed again. It had been awhile. I let her know and she was patient with me through the whole process. Now be forewarned! Maggie's technique was different than the other esthetician I went to before. But Bayleigh made the time fly by being so personable. So I really appreciated that! The service itself does not come with a wax but you can add it on, which I did, and if it's your first time waxing there you will receive 20% off. So that was nice as well. Michayla made me feel so at ease which is hard to do when someone's pouring and ripping something warm from you. The main reason why I'm leaving this review is because I've never been to a location where I felt like the waxer was genuinely trying to hurt you. I got a Brazilian done with Jessie, the way she spread the wax felt like she was pulling the hairs slowly and painfully off my body. She applied so many strips one after the other on the same spots that it had a later effect of me having ingrown hairs all over and irritated skin. Not to mention I would think since she did so many takes over each spot that ALL of the hairs would be gone. To my disbelief hair is still there. Not to mention I am seeing growth just two weeks after my appointment.
