My eyebrows have never looked so good! I get them tinted and waxed. And the tint... omg the tint is so good! For me, it lasts several weeks! With previous tints, I was lucky if it lasted a couple of days. Since going to Southern Chic Wax, I get compliments on my brows, which was never a thing. Carrie was awesome! I was a little nervous because I've been getting my brows threaded for years and another salon recently messed them up. This was my first wax in years, and my first ever tinting. I actually went in last week while I was home for college to get my eyebrows/eyelashes tinted again. I had the pleasure of meeting with Carrie this time (disclaimer: can officially say both Courtney and Carrie are great!). I told her I didn't want to go too dark and that I had sensitive skin which she accommodated to both. Also, she was really fun to talk to and SO personable! I was amazed how methodical/detailed she was with my eyebrows while, yet, still somehow holding a casual conversation. I wanted to follow-up mainly to show those interested in visiting this cute business that I have had a consistently great experience with both estheticians. The salon is cute and clean. The music is great. The prices are very reasonable. No tipping. No pain. Scheduling an appointment is quick and easy. Both Carrie and Courtney really are kickass estheticians, entrepreneurs, and individuals. The wax they use did not irritate or cause any bumps around my eyebrows which is a big deal for me. Could you ask for anymore? I have to drive about a hour to get to Allen. I don't say this as a complaint but as a reference to how worth it Southern Chic Wax really is. I had a Yumi Lash Lift & Tint done on my lashes and am more than happy with the results! I had gotten a lash lift/tint done before at a different salon and was disappointed with how mine turned out (note that I have long, full lashes, so I was expecting a difference - I could barely tell my blonde lashes were tinted). Came across the results from Southern Chic on Instagram and was impressed, so I decided to try again and make an appt. Carrie took excellent care of me and made sure she informed me on each step of the process - I appreciated this since your eyes are closed for over an hour. I couldn't believe my lashes once the process was done. At the other salon, I felt that I had to wear mascara to really show the "lift" in my lashes, but after my appt with Carrie, I have barely worn mascara. Looks so natural and effortless. A bit pricey, but will be very worth it during the summer. Sporting a more natural makeup look now which helps cut down on time, too. Super happy! read more

I'm guessing that their wax is top of the line because it really went "smooth" ;) for my first time with them.
