Celina, OMG -- Peace Love Wax is now in your neighborhood! I've been getting these services for 10+…read moreyears in at least two states: trust me, Peace Love Wax is the BEST! If you're looking for the right place to get your brows, face, and all other body parts waxed (and lash and brow tinting)...no more scrolling, you found it. This location is especially convenient if you're in Celina, McKinney, Prosper, Little Elm, Weston, Melissa, etc. This is their third location in the Metroplex. This one has a cool, laid-back vibe owing to the home-like building it's in as well as the general geographic location. Waxing is all PLW does. I personally come for the brazilians, brow shaping/waxing, and facial waxing; however, they also do lash and brow tinting, bikini waxes, full body waxing, and sugaring. They're easy on your wallet and no tipping allowed! And...they don't do memberships! (Can I get a hallelujah...) The aestheticians are all good, though Miranda is my "person." I've been going to her for seven years -- she's truly great at her craft. (I did see a couple other aestheticians when she was on maternity leave which is how I know they're good.) She's all about skin care and even turned me onto a great facial skin care line that she uses (which I still use!). Also -- you can conveniently book appointments either onsite, over the phone, or online. If you're looking for the best waxing experience at affordable prices with great people, Peace Love Wax is it.

Hillary was absolutely amazing -- professional, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. As a first-time guest, I was a little nervous, but Hillary immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease. You can tell they care about both the quality of their work and the comfort of their clients. Hillary exceeded my expectations, and I'm so glad I found her. If you're on the fence about where to go -- this is your sign! I'll definitely be back.

I get it most places are like that now; but usually you can find a few places that take walk ins. Lucky for me this place answered and had availability to fit me in. The vibe of this place is super cool and the place smells and reminds me of Earthbound Trading Co. I really dig it. Hannah was my wax person; and she did amazing. Quick, painless and got the job done. I would definitely recommend coming here for your waxing needs.

I got there on time and they put me in a pedicure chair and made me wait 35 minutes. That was the only bad part, luckily I didn't have anywhere to go afterwards. Tony gave me my pedicure which was wonderful! Great massage he even massaged my feet; most nail salon salons forget to massage your feet!!!!! my dip nails were done great! Luni did my nails. Even though I'm assuming they took walk-ins before my appointment I will return. I just hope that when I make an appointment, they don't make me wait this long again.

Smiley Nails Spa? My Wallet Wasn't Smiling…read more Smiley Nails Spa sounded promising, but unfortunately, it left a lot to be desired. They market themselves as an upscale salon, but the experience didn't quite match the hype. Spas typically will offer you a refreshment or a water and I didn't get offered any of that. Don't get me wrong, my tech was nice and did an ok job, but I ended up paying over $150+ for dip powder on just my hands. No manicure, no designs, just a sparkly white dip powder. The salon environment was okay, looked typical and I was genuinely excited to try it, but I walked out feeling a little duped. Prices weren't clearly explained, and the sticker shock was real. Let's just say my wallet definitely wasn't smiling. They also say they take reservations, but I overheard my tech answering calls with "See you at [insert random time]!" and hanging up, so I'm not entirely convinced there's an actual system behind the scenes. All in all, it was a one and-done for me. There are better spots out there that won't make your bank account cry.

Bayleigh was great with explaining all of the steps she would be doing as well as explaining what the lumination itself is. The appointment itself was about a hour long. But Bayleigh made the time fly by being so personable. So I really appreciated that! The service itself does not come with a wax but you can add it on, which I did, and if it's your first time waxing there you will receive 20% off. So that was nice as well. Through out the whole appointment I was made comfortable, but was also allowed to make suggestions with brow shape and tint color. Overall, a great appointment and a great turn out with the lumination, tint, and wax. Thank you Bayleigh!
