I love this little hidden gem in Plano! I can't tell you how many times I've passed by KT Nails & Spa and didn't notice it. Because my regular nail tech was out of town, I had to find someone who was just as great. I found them on Yelp and after reading the reviews I decided to give them a try. I made a same day appointment and when I arrived, Vi was waiting for me. Omg! She did a fantastic job on my dip powder mani. She's very precise and thorough. They charge more than what's listed online, plus a $10 salon fee. I gave them 3-4 chances, but the nail designs were always thick, messy, and unprofessional. The staff doesn't listen and just does whatever they want, and if you ask them to fix it, they charge you again. Definitely won't be going back. read more

I have been going there for a while and have not had a problem but then I got a manicure and pedicure last week with matching colors. The manicure was great I had issues with the pedicure, the polish stayed soft for days. I got the pedicure on Wednesday, Thursday I wore closed toed shoes which damaged the polish. I went back in on Saturday and the Polish was still kind of soft. I had them redo it in the same polish that matched my manicure. They told me my nails weren't properly cleaned. They repeatedly told me I needed to be careful that it won't be dry for at least an hour. I went home, sat still for two and a half hours and the polish was still soft and could easily be scratched. I went back to the salon, it was 15 minutes before they closed but I wanted to show them that the polish had not set. Again, they said I need to be careful. I had them redo the polish in a different brand and I had no problem. What really bothered me is they kept insisting that I needed to be careful. I have gotten pedicures for years, I know what to do. There was a problem with the polish, not with me. I will not be going back there read more

My mom and I got pedicures they were able to get us in at least minute. My mom got a luxury pedicure and I got a basic. Cindy and Becky were great! Very friendly and nice. My mom loved her treatment and felt pampered! The place is nice and small, not flashy...simple which I like!! read more

My husband and I highly recommend KT Nails & Spa in Allen. Karen is so sweet and really works hard to make all of her customers feel welcome. They are a very busy small salon and they make every effort to accommodate appointments while still working with walk ins. Amanda, Q, Vivian, and everyone of the hard working ladies do a wonderful job and are very friendly. I get compliments on my nails often and the experience is fun but also relaxing. The spa is kept very clean and is always decorated nicely for holidays. They are closed on Sundays which I like so that their staff can enjoy church and family time. read more

Aggressive filing left sides of fingers raw, poor ventilation and overuse of solvents.

I have been going to this Nail Salon for almost a decade. There was a new staff who provided nail care to me after a previous staff damaged my nail bed. During the visit the side of my finger was cut. I immediately Informed the owner who I have known for many years, who informed me she would take care it. When I called to make an appointment, I spoke with the owner again who told me I was too emotional and to get over it then hung up the phone. My finger worsened and became infected. I was in so much pain I went to the urgent clinic, then to my primary care provider. I was prescribed. multiple rounds of antibiotics with no success. I was referred to a hand specialist for possible surgery . I was informed by my doctor that the utensils used on my hand were dirty, and My finger has never been the same. The doctor stated to me not to ever go back to this Nail Salon again. The owners are from Vietnam and don't seem to care for Black people. This is malpractice and unacceptable!! I was insulted and thrown under the bus because I was blacks. I rarely see Black people in the salon and they treat them different than the whites. I am now seeking an attorney for damages. I would not recommend going to the salon ever. read more

KT Nails is the best salon I've been to in my 28 years living in Texas. The sisters that run the salon, do an impeccable job on nails and pedicures. Their staff are also top notch! Not only are they fantastic at their job, but they are the friendliest ladies I've ever gone to. They go out of their way to please you. Their customer service skills are like no others. I had an appointment already made, and Tracy knew I would have liked something earlier. Well, when there was a cancellation, she called me , and asked if I would like to take it!!! I was floored. What a sweet, kind thing to do!!! They're salon has had many renovations to it. They are making it so inviting and classy. If you want friendly people, who care about their clients, snd who take their time with you, and do an awesome job, whether it be, your nails, a pedicure, or any other service you need, these are the girls to go see.
