I have received services here at least 3 times and every time I've went in this shop, I feel disrespected, the feeling of knowing they're talking about you and treating you as if your feet are the most disgusting thing they've ever seen while treating the white people as if they are above you. You could set an appointment and they will leave you waiting while a white person comes in and is hurried to a chair. The last time I went I was asked about the tip as I didn't leave one as if that was required and not up to my discretion. Christine gives the best manicure and Dana will truly take care of your toes. I was so surprised because it's so close to my house but I'm sooooo picky when it comes to nails so this place genuinely surprised me. Please make this your new spot because I sure as heck have now. Beyond dissatisfied. The first time I went to this place I was so impressed with the quality of the service, the price, & the length my nails lasted. The 2nd time I went, we received not so great service. I was hopeful that the 3rd would be a charm... I went there to get my wedding nails done as well as my bridal party. Unfortunately it was the worst service I received at any nail salon I'd EVER been to. The lady that was doing my nails was beyond rude & when I noticed the terrible job she did she refused to correct it. Not only did she do my toe French tips crooked but she (without consulting me) added a hideous shiny top coat to my nails to "cover up" a flaw. The work the people do here is great! I came here yesterday to get my toes done & I messed them up and I came back today to get it fixed for FREE! There are a lot of nail shops that will charge you $2-$5 just to get ONE TOE fixed! I give it 3 stars because some of the workers here have a very unapproachable attitude. This was my third time going to this place and I won't be back. Each time it gets worse. The lady doing my friends pedicure cut her 4 times. I asked to have my eyebrows tinted 3 times to no avail. I got my nails and pedicure done here. It has not even been a week and 3 nails have already broke off. The first nail that broke off is went in to get it fixed. They had some girl who didn't know what she was doing fix it I told her several times she was doing it wrong and it was not straight at all. 1 hour goes by I'm finally getting it fixed the semi correct way and I leave. The very next day 2 more nails break off. I call today and try to get them fixed and they want me to come in 3 hours for 2 nails. Smh. It seemed as if the only people that gave this salon a 4, are the people that work there. Today I paid 78.00 plus tip. I gave them a second try. Its was a horrible experience. The person didn't spend enough time on my feet, and now it shows. I still have most of the callus there. I had asked for a manicure was charged for one; however, I didn't get one. The place was nearly empty! It was just me and two other women. The manager and her coworkers were getting their nails done when I asked for the manager. However, she couldn't leave her "nail time" to tend to the issue at hand. I couldn't believe they were charging me for items that I didn't get and the manager didn't want to come to the desk to resolve the issue. I paid. I went home with unfinished work on my feet and hands and with less money in my bank account. I never write bad reviews - ever. I had to inform this time. The manager seems aloof, and no pun intended - callused. They quoted me a price for next-gen nails (the first time), but then they didn't keep their word (when I came back). They are very unorganized and do not offer a relaxing visit. First thing is you have to fill out a menu with what you are wanting done. Each item has a price listed next to the service. I got acrylic French nails and a basic pedicure the menu price was $35 for nails and $28 for pedi. The pedi was fine, however my nails are not even, She cut my finger with the file and several nails have small bubbles in them. Once my mani/pedi was finished and I was ready to pay. They had crossed out what I had circled for service and wrote higher prices next to them$45 for the nails $8 for shaping them and still $28 for the pedi. When I asked why that was the manager told me the girl doing my nails did a more expensive service. I told him I wasn't willing to pay for a service I didn't ask for nor was told I was getting. He got 2 other techs involved to explain why I needed to pay more. I felt lied to and left the salon feeling upset with my nails and even more upset that they tried to take advantage of me. Well I didn't think that was a good experience because we got in there and we had to wait like 10 minutes for me to get a pedicure and sit down in the chair and put my feet in the water it was a long time long wait in the chair and my sister sat there for like 30 minutes to get her nails off and they knew that they had to get her nails up and they finally called her up and she had to wait there for like another 10 minutes and she was just sitting there until like when I was finished with my nails and my pedicure and they finally did her nails so I had to wait like 30 minutes because the lady just put hers in hand hands in the water and just left and I thought that was very responsible of them I don't really think I want to go there anymore I think there's another one that I really like and it only took like 10 minutes to get my pedicure done and it was really nice so I don't recommend there read more
