I walked in and they were able to take me right away which was great considering it was a holiday and the schools where closed for the day. I showed the lady a picture from Pinterest and she nailed the look I wanted ! I also had a polish change to match my nails and I was happy with the outcome. I saw Nancy and will definitely be back to see her again. I was very specific with the shape and how much glitter I wanted showing and she listened.Which was really nice. She was easy to understand and didn't take forever to do my nails ,which I like. Relaxing and clean environment.Everyone was friendly and professional. The color section was decent and they had a good mix of services. As I was sitting there waiting for my toe polish to dry I saw many customers come in and they all seemed to know everyone which shows me they have loyal customers.

When I scheduled, I specifically asked to be placed with someone experienced because the last time I left with the skin on my toes burning from how careless they were. Yet, they still handed me off to someone who clearly didn't know what they were doing. Now, more than 24 hours later, several of my fingers are still burning. My nails are lumpy, different lengths and different shapes. The pedicure was the worst I've ever gotten in my life. They don't value loyal customers. They don't care if you're happy with the service. As long as they get paid. It costs absolutely nothing to treat people with basic respect and decency but that clearly wasn't a priority here.

I think they just opened, otherwise I knowwww I would've been here already. Made an appt with whomever (since I was new, didn't really know who to make it with) and luckily was taken care of by Kelvin - who was AMAZING. OMG the care and patience he put into my nails!!! I don't usually do designs and am usually a solid color girlie but dang he did such a great job and now I'm ready for spring. I already have my mom bookin an appointment lol. I'll definitely be returning for a mani and pedi next time! Their prices are awesome too. It was $40 for the gel manicure and $55 for designs total on 8ish nails. So glad they're in the area now! Can't wait to be back.

I had my first experience getting a professional manicure with builder gel here at Milano. Michael…read morewas the artist that worked on the design I requested and I was blown away by the experience and the results. The cuticle treatment was performed beautifully and completely painlessly (in fact, I'd found it relaxing) and I didn't have any issues with my cuticle area after leaving the establishment - the skin looks beautifully manicured as it should be and closely resembles a Russian manicure. Didn't experience any "fly-aways" at all. He was also very open and professional when it came to picking the final color of the gel - I was able to compare several options directly on my nail and take a few moments to decide on which one I wanted. For the design, I was also able to stop him in the moment and request for a different color of the metallic after he'd already designed one of the nails - this interaction was professionally handled. In the end, I was amazed by how closely my nails matched with the inspo photo, although going into the experience I was open to the idea of the artist practicing some creative freedoms with the design. I am beyond happy with the result and highly recommend anyone to book with Michael at this location. The ambiance is very cute also, the staff is friendly and helpful. Everyone is professional and I didn't feel like I was ever being up-sold or swayed towards something other than I wanted. I came with a friend, we were offered drinks of preference (coffee is delicious) and were able to socialize comfortably. Note: they don't seem to do nail sculpting, so if you come for nail extensions, they attach the tip with glue instead of building on top of a form and then removing that.

This is my second time going to Starry nail spa. I went back because the first time I had a…read morepleasant experience and they did a good job with mani/pedi and adding on acrylic nails and painted toenails. When I went back this second time it was a living nightmare! First off they lack workers so you have to wait even the first time I went. This second time I was worked on by a man who immediately started working on painting my toenails without beginning my pedicure. When I brought it to his attention he said "afterwards". I was dumbfounded. He asked me to pick out colors. I picked out three and showed him a picture of the look I was going for, which was a French look. He dismissed what I told him and started painting the whole nail a solid color. I said "no sir like the picture". He says something to me in his native language and again the same thing happened as we proceeded. I said "like the picture" The picture had designs on the nails and he said "I don't do designs and pointed to a lady worker and said "She do". I told him "don't worry about the design. It's the colors. I want just a line of color". He then pulls my foot and scraped it across the foot sink. I asked for the manager. He said, "I am manager". I told him he was being hostile with me. He said I was the difficult one. I would have walked out but I needed the service done before a wedding the upcoming weekend. When the other worker finished with her customer, he told her to start with me. He continued being hostile towards me the whole way through. She started on my hands and shortly after another customer walked in. She left me to go with that customer and I asked why and she said "she client". I guess I chopped liver. So this made the manager even more upset because now he had to start working on my manicure and nails. No manicure, he went straight to the adding the nails. Same hostility. After the woman worker named Jenny finished with her "client" he told her to come work on me. Her and I had a conversation and she said he was the manager and "he never works, he never likes to work". Now the same thing happened with Jenny because she used two different colors after I chose only one color and when I brought it to her attention she said she forgot, "she can't fix no more". The manager walks over to me and they start talking again in their native language and he yells at me "you difficult customer". I am crying by this time. Not wanting empathy but am appalled at the treatment I was getting. When he walked away I asked Jenny for the owner's name. She said she didn't know. I ask when he/she comes to the salon, again she replied "I don't know". When I was done I paid for my service and wasn't going to tip but I did anyway because Jenny did half a better job than the manager Dan or Dein did, and I paid a pretty steep price. I asked Dein for the owner's information and he said they never come to the store. He tried buttering me up and attempted small talk with me, something he didn't do when he was servicing me. Again I asked for the owner's information and Jenny says, "we don't know. They don't come here". I just walked off. The following morning when I showered my two acrylic toenails fell off. I went into panic mode because I was not going to go back to that hostility. I beg you and warn you not to go to this salon!!! There are so many to choose from in Melissa. This is the quality of work I recieved:
