She runs a great business, provides excellent results, and is pleasant to talk to. The facility is clean, beverages are offered, and the facility is spacious and pretty. She remembers me from prior visits which makes me feel valued, as does the receptionist. The color selection is large, including new seasonal colors just added! My difficult nails simply look better and last longer than other places. I've had GelX, Acrylic, and Dip from Phoebe as well as pedicures from the other techs, and love it all every time. The massage chairs are comfortable and relaxing. A nail tech and pedicure tech will work on both at the same time to allow me to get in & out of there quicker. This seems to be a Texas practice, it was new to me when I moved here and I do like it to help manage my busy working mom schedule. When I have the time, I may reserve my nails separate from my pedi to be able to fully enjoy the massage chair as needed to turn it off during any detailed nail work. My first summer with Phoebe included many different colors and designs on my nails. She never disappointed and always checked to make sure I liked it! My 4th of July nails were my absolute favorite with blue & red nails and a few well placed stars. Phoebe also did marbling for me one time, and I was truly amazed at her artistry. So beautiful. The area is growing rapidly, so recommend making an appointment, but walk ins are welcome. I REALLY appreciate that I can text to schedule an appointment as it is hard to make calls during the day. The buffing weakened my nails. I've read that buffing and nail remover can be used. I think the tech should have determined by my nails which process was appropriate. I also didn't want polish, so she used Nailtique. It's been less than a week and the polish is peeling off my nails. I am very familiar with Nailtique as I have used it this seems wrong that the Nailtique is peeling off my nails. I've had better mani/pedis for the same price. Also, I had to file some of my toenails as they were rough. Needless to say, I will not return.

We were regulars there, but it's gone terribly downhill, and this was the straw that broke the camel's back. First, it was obvious that the techs were talking in another language, and making fun of me. They started it after I told them I had an injured shoulder, and needed the pedi and mani done separately, not at the same time. They didn't like that answer and kept pushing me to do both together. They'd argue with me, then talk about me in another language. Everytime there was anything odd, they'd switch to their language so I couldn't understand them. But the way they'd laugh and look at me, pretty sure it WAS about me. So unprofessional. I requested a simple square shaping of my already long natural nails. Sadly, my nails were chopped down to nubs before I knew it, as she very quickly did whatever she wanted to do. My nails were gone. I asked for gel polish on my hands and the matching regular polish for my toes. Which they said they had that, "no problem, we have exact match". Instead, the tech picked her "matching" shade that was completely wrong. My hands ended up a bright, ugly blood red, while my toes were glittery burgundy for Fall (the original color I had chosen for both). When I pointed this out, they argued with me instead of apologizing. The only "solution" offered was to put the ugly red gel on my toes too, and I NEVER wanted to get gel toes in the first place. We tried to discuss our grievances with any of them, but either they didn't understand us or they simply didn't care. No one apologized, and no one took responsibility for the mistakes. The two female techs walked away to the back as I was trying to talk to them about my issue. Poof! Gone! That. Was. Rude. That was very flipping rude. Worse, both my husband and I were burned severely by their overheated neck wraps. We both have multiple bright red burns on our necks and shoulders, and we will be including pictures. His wrap was at least inside a real towel, but mine was bizarrely wrapped in what looked like a cheap store bathroom paper towel. I was badly burned in three separate places because of it. When we pointed it out, they acted like they didn't understand us, even though the burns were large, painful, and obviously burns. I was also nearly burned by scalding hot water. The tech left the faucet on full hot and never once checked the temperature before putting my feet in. Luckily, I pulled away quickly enough to avoid an injury, but that should never have happened. On top of that, I specifically asked for no stone massage. They agreed, and it was ignored, hot stones were used anyway. We also paid extra for paraffin wax, but they were rushing so much that it didn't even harden before they ripped it off. A complete waste of money. I left with wax still all over me. It was a slimy mess. The salon itself was filthy. The gel lamps were sticky and gross, surfaces were VERY unclean, and my tech spilled my drink on me TWICE! She just left it on the floor and ignored it. Hygiene and safety clearly aren't priorities here. And then came the bill: over $220 for a basic crappy gel manicure, an ugly gel pedicure (which was their "only option" to fix THEIR mistake), and a basic men's pedicure. They never once warned us it would cost a lot of extra to "correct" what THEY messed up. We paid way more $$$ because of their mistakes, and they didn't care about any of it. Horrible customer service and completely dishonest. This experience wasn't worth $100, let alone $220. Between the burns, the filth, the chopped off nails, the dishonesty, and the careless service, Villa Nail Bar has gone downhill beyond repair. We should have walked out the moment things went wrong. You've lost our business permanently. Update.....Days later, the burns are still there. I'm going to talk to the Health Dept and a Dr about the burns. They shouldn't be present days later. And the Health Dept should look into how filthy this place and unregulated this place is.

I was a walk in customer and while I got seated right away. I wasn't asked to pick a color for my…read morepedicure till after the tech came by and said "oh! You can go pick a color, it's over there" gesturing with her hands. I asked for a standard pedicure which was $45 and included callouts removal. I got a pedicure where I was asked to put my feet into water hot enough to burn them, no apologies provided. Then the tech barely soaked my feet for 3 minutes before she asked me to take them out and proceeded to cut off my te nails almost to the quick without even asking how much I wanted t shorten them. Them proceeded to file them roughly causing pain, then she scrubbed my foot for a 40 seconds with the disposable scrub sponge and proceeded to do what was a poor excuse for a foot/leg massage (honestly an 8 year old could have done a better job) running your fingertip up and down my calves with no pressure at all is pointless IMHO. Then she slapped on the polish and handed me a bill for $32. So instead of getting the standard pedicure I had asked for I got an express pedicure because I guess they felt like they could just do whatever they wanted. On a separate note, I watched the giving the customers who were getting the gels and the dip and acrylic nails a leather bound drink menu to chose a drink from, all I was offered was would you like to drink something no details on options. The tech that did my pedicure spoke all of 2 words to me the entire time. It was the most underwhelming, disappointing pedicure I've ever had in my life and I would never go back there. If you're going to be careless, unfriendly and overpriced don't expect customers to return. I don't recommend this place to anyone! If there was an option to give them zero stars that's what I would do.
