I had some left-over gel on my fingernails that needed to be removed, not a lot of gel. The tech buffed off the remaining gel rather than using gel nail remover. The buffing weakened my nails. I've read that buffing and nail remover can be used. I think the tech should have determined by my nails which process was appropriate. I also didn't want polish, so she used Nailtique. It's been less than a week and the polish is peeling off my nails. I am very familiar with Nailtique as I have used it this seems wrong that the Nailtique is peeling off my nails. I've had better mani/pedis for the same price. Also, I had to file some of my toenails as they were rough. Needless to say, I will not return. read more

The woman at the front desk was miserable. Such a bad attitude. This was a negative start for my first visit. Because of her and her attitude, I won't be back. Please note that regular polish isn't in bottles at the front to choose your color. You pick your color from a book as if you were choosing gel. Their regular polish is super cheap so it chips and you have to come back faster. read more

I really had high hopes for this establishment as it's literally down the street from my house and next to HEB and Buckee's. The owner Lee is really awesome (I love his hair) I will say he did an amazing job with the decor and cleanliness of his new nail bar. They offer so many services ranging from of course nails, eyelashes, facials. HOWEVER Tiffany did my eyelashes TWICE and they fell out, I have never had this happen at other places that I have been to. I went in on a Monday and they all fell out by Thursday. Saturday she had to replace them with an excuse that it was the nail glue that she uses AND gave me an attitude referring me back to Stephanie. The nail tech Stephanie is amazing and everyone else who conducts pedicures are also awesome. Tiffany and her bad attitude is the reason why I will never return. read more

I have been getting pedicures for a very, very long time. I have gone here multiple times because it is very close to where I live and so out of convenience I have gone maybe five times. Each time the nail polish chips within 1 to 2 days after getting it done the last time I got a GEL pedicure and within two weeks, the entire pinky toe color came off. I have never experienced gel polish on my toes coming off within two weeks. It usually lasts a month in some cases maybe more. I suspect this is because the quality of the product is very bad and it's not lasting. To be clear it is not a cheap service. It is probably one of the most expensive ones in the area. Do not recommend. And will not return. read more

We moved to Anna and I was looking for a good nail salon. In total I gave Aurora three tries and all three times I had to go back for fixes. The first time the top coat on my nails bubbled and had to be redone buy the "owner". The second time I went in I had issues with the color matching. I picked a hot pink dip with matching gel polish for my toes which when applied was actually a hot pink on my toes and purple on my nails. When I questioned the color I got push back. I was told it was matching and clearly it was not. I was handed off from the girl doing my nails to someone else to fix the color. I figured I would give them one more chance. The last time I went in my dip nails lasted exactly 24 hours before eight finders started to lift. I have never had dip lift like that. Again, I made a trip to melissa and was told the wait was too long to consider coming back the next morning. Ok...that means a third trip to get nails I paid well over $100 for to get fixed. I personally feel like I warranted a bit more attention than being turned away. On my final trip to get my dip nails that I had to glue down to fixed. I spoke with the "owner" about the issue and his response was "the nail person had just retured from vacation and was maybe rusty" Ummm...that is no excuse. I feel like the service was super lacking and apparently my time to go back time and time again was unimportant. I hate to give negative reviews but Aurora nails just lacks professionalism and customer service. Yes the salon is nice but the service is lacking. read more

This is the third time I have been here and I'm so disappointed to say the service here was horrible. We came in on a Saturday morning, they were busy and we are walk-ins. There is obviously a wait, but the front desk women were actively trying to dissuade us from waiting for service, I guess this establishment only works on appointment only basis and does not want walk-in business. Our time there deteriorated and did not improve through the rest of our time here. Moral of the story, if you are a walk-in, don't come here, they don't want your business. read more

Second time in: Longer wait but that's to be expected as a Saturday walk in. The front desk staff offered to text me when they'd be ready so I got to hit HEB to spend time which I thought was great. I brought in my own tea and they offered a cup of ice for it. (More bonus points!) I saw they actually sanitize their pedicure chairs this time in between guests, which I love. Steeping into my CBD pedicure now and it smells like heaven! (Lava scent is what I picked) I will certainly return a third time. Try this place! read more

Tiffany did a great job on my nails. I tried the hydro gel and I love it. I usually get dip but Tiffany told me this makes your nails look and feel more natural. She is really nice and they were super friendly at the front check in. They will ask you several times if you want something to drink read more

Two stars instead of one only because if you don't need a pedicure and use Lin for powder dip nails, she is amazing! Unfortunately, I tried a pedicure here twice (and a toe color correction once), and I am simply shocked at how terrible their pedicure service is! I truly do not understand how it's possible. First time, technician set a timer for an 8-minute leg massage that was just okay; polish chipped after only two days, and it's the highest priced pedicure in the area. Store gave me a bit of a hard time about fixing polish because I waited too long to tell them, but ultimately, they did fix it. Again, lasted 2-3 days. Went back for a second try and was barely greeted, never offered a drink, and told I'd have to upgrade to gel polish if I wanted It to last more than a couple days! Wrong- been using regular polish for years! This time, no timer... no massage...just a few minutes of a foot massage using some random foot tool. Apparently, no uniform training on salon pedicure technique. And...that polish also chipped only a few days later. Removed it, repainted myself and going on week two of perfect polish. Makes no sense. Too bad- really wanted to love this place. Hope they are able to implement better training and be successful. read more

Went with my sister- turned my slip in and then she did . I waited 35 minutes while my sister was being taken care of - after 45 minutes we said something to her tech and the lady at the front desk said she didn't know what happened to my ticket but in the mean time several more people came in and I was told I could be taken care of in 30-45 minutes. Told them thanks but no thanks. I'll go to my regular salon who takes great care of me . They offered me a free drink which is always free and I don't drink. Would not recommend this salon.
