I get it most places are like that now; but usually you can find a few places that take walk ins. Lucky for me this place answered and had availability to fit me in. The whole thing was painless, and dispite the location not a bit uncomfortable. Amanda is a GEM!, one of the most genuine people I have ever met. She gets straight to busness, and all the while is able to carry on an easy coversation that maks time go by fast. Price is completly reasonable too! The only downside is that my Nav took me to the old location,( the Blue-gray building in the picture) - Bare is not there anymore, but 1 block to the West, with the entrance on the corner of Crockett and Lamar, in a Large, white Buildng. She runs a great business, provides excellent results, and is pleasant to talk to. The facility is clean, beverages are offered, and the facility is spacious and pretty. She remembers me from prior visits which makes me feel valued, as does the receptionist. The color selection is large, including new seasonal colors just added! My difficult nails simply look better and last longer than other places. I've had GelX, Acrylic, and Dip from Phoebe as well as pedicures from the other techs, and love it all every time. The massage chairs are comfortable and relaxing. A nail tech and pedicure tech will work on both at the same time to allow me to get in & out of there quicker. This seems to be a Texas practice, it was new to me when I moved here and I do like it to help manage my busy working mom schedule. When I have the time, I may reserve my nails separate from my pedi to be able to fully enjoy the massage chair as needed to turn it off during any detailed nail work. My first summer with Phoebe included many different colors and designs on my nails. She never disappointed and always checked to make sure I liked it! My 4th of July nails were my absolute favorite with blue & red nails and a few well placed stars. Phoebe also did marbling for me one time, and I was truly amazed at her artistry. So beautiful. The area is growing rapidly, so recommend making an appointment, but walk ins are welcome. I REALLY appreciate that I can text to schedule an appointment as it is hard to make calls during the day. Also, Bliss offers a cash discount!!! Thank you!! My understanding is Phoebe purchased this business a couple? few? years ago, with significant previous experience.
