3.5 rating? Artisan Nails deserves way better reviews because FOR SHAME. Y'all are sleeping on them - respectfully . After almost 20 years of getting my nails done in New York, Florida, and everywhere in between... I finally found my nail tribe. Sunny & Tiffany are my dream team. I try to book them together whenever I can because they just flow. No chaos, no over-talking, no nonsense. Just straight-up good service, ON POINT EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. They always send me out looking expensive. Sunny does my dip nails and NEVER misses. I work in the field ( ladders, tools, heavy equipment) and I have YET to break a nail. The shape is always clean, feminine, and somehow my natural nails are healthier now than they've been in years. I swear she shapes my nails better than some people shape their entire personality. And Tiffany... her pedicures are lethal in the best way possible. Her hands should clealry be federally regulated. I leave feeling like I paid for therapy. She can massage the trauma out of my soul with those hands As a result elder millennial woman "trying" to embrace a soft life after living in survival mode for years, - finding a nail salon that is consistent, drama-free, clean, kind, and actually talented means EVERYTHING, you hear me!! Also, shoutout to the salon itself because they're genuinely and truly professional. Yes they offer beverages / alcoholic or non and prices are reasonable and fair. But that's just a bonus. I've had them call and communicate if someone was running behind or if they can fit me in sooner. They're always accommodating, and I never leave irritated or disappointed. After having recently moved here from Tennessee, and having a great nail service for several years, I was not sure where to go here in Princeton/Mckinney. By chance I tried Artisan Nail and Spa. My experience was EXCELLENT! I made an appointment online the morning of, which was incredibly easy. I was able to review and pick the service I wanted. I was able to get in early in the morning, which fit my needs, and was greeted with a smile and a genuine welcome when I arrived. My nail tech was Daniel. I just went back and I happened to get Sunny and she is phenomenal! From now on I am going to make appointments and go to her exclusively. She is efficient, meticulous, and just really wonderful. After filling it out she said no it's wrong and tried to mark a higher service (colored acrylic) I then showed her that in fact the part of my nails that needed the fill was regular acrylic. She then tried arguing with me that at this shop it was colored. I then showed her up close that it was clear acrylic and she said whatever. I then sat down and she in another language called me the equivalent of "dumb bit**". I laughed and said ma'am you need to stop trying to up charge people especially people that know what they're asking for. She then got mad and said that no one will be available for my services. My suggestion is don't come here. They have sneaky ways to up charge you and if you question it they get mad. The vibe is very hostile and tense. read more

Maybe it's best they don't take people on a rush during closing times. 1st time here and paid $80 plus 15%tip and well wasn't offered a free drink as it says on there glass window also the gentleman was super rushing on me and felt stressed out with him do to his stressed energy and handling me made me want to run out of there. I always make appointments. I do not walk in. I usually just have pedicures. I'm not sure why they ask for a technician because often who you choose is not there for various reasons. Today my appointment was at 9:45. It is currently 10:00. They have just now filled the bowl with water. They open at 9:30. 8 pedicure chairs are filled. In my opinion, technicians should not start working on other clients if they have a client arriving soon. I appreciate the prices and that they give senior discounts but I would like my appointment to start on time. Not 20 minutes late. read more

First off, I loved my nail techs Tracy and Nick. They did outstanding. I took my boyfriend and my sister here for a spa day. We called a few hours ahead and they accommodated everything we asked, sitting next to each other and getting our mani/pedis done at the same time. At one point my sisters nail tech (didn't catch his name) cut her and messed her nails up twice so I immediately asked Tracy to get us someone else. My sister is pregnant and I wanted her happy with this treat! Anyways, she let the manager Jessica know and then Tracy took care of my sister herself. Loved the service and customer care. My visit to Artisan Nails and Spa, Princeton, was surprisingly unprofessional today strictly due to unprofessionalism by the owner. To explain, I sought clarification of my pedicure and manicure (mani/pedi) during the service. Do to the language barrier between myself and the lady doing the mani/pedi, she asked the manager to come over and explain. The manager refused to do so. At checkout, the manager (informed me she was the owner) upon asking why she did not explain the types of pedi/mani programs, she replied because the servicing person had. Thereafter, i asked for the owners name, which she refused to provide. Moreover, our conversation ended on a note of poor customer service, a no named owner, and closing remarks advising me that I am welcome to go somewhere else. In over 20 plus years of pedi/mani all over the free world, I never had this type of experience. read more

I don't usually leave reviews but I recently went here, yesterday to be exact. Although I am please with my nails, I felt like the workers here are dishonest. I asked for a quote three times. One on the phone, once in person, and right before getting started on my nails. Every time I asked I kept getting different prices. They kept trying to up charge me and the prices they advertised suddenly did not exist anymore. There was one service that I wanted to get because on the website and on their menu it is listed, and they kept trying to convince me that, it is not possible to get/they just simply do not do it anymore and that I would have to settle for a more expensive service. If that is the case why not remove it off the list to keep situations like this from happening. Felt lied to many times, taken advantage of, and felt like the money was all they had in mind. I wasn't offered a drink or anything on top of that. Please be upfront about your prices and stick to it, this feels like a scam. read more

I showed her the picture of what I wanted and that I wanted the nails to be thin, as in not an overwhelming amount of gel and it turned out EXACTLY how I wanted it! Also got a pedi! I've seen some bad reviews as how they are "overpriced" but they spent about 30-45 min on it and yes every pedi has some sort of special herbal package which they bring out in tray with fresh flowers, using hot stones with massage... the works! If you're looking for something cheap and just to get the job done, go elsewhere! This is definitely a pamper yourself place and the money you spend is well worth it! This place is the spot to go!!! Everyone is super friendly, the atmosphere is chic and very very clean. The pedicure chairs are out of this world. I'm so torn about this review because overall the actual service was decent. Nails look great, toes are nicely painted, and staff was.. okay. Not very talkative, but that's fine. Here's where they lost my business (and 2 stars). - The menu shows pricing that is just incorrect. I did nexgen when shows $28. I had to add tips because my natural nails broke during quarantine. That was $5 extra which was fine, but I was never made aware (until check out). Then they charged another $5 because I got a shape. No, not almond. Nothing crazy. Basically I just had them file my nails lol. - The pedicure was $40 and very mediocre. Massage was weak and short. I've paid $30 and gotten way more for my money. Most likely won't be back unless I'm desperate because the pricing is deceiving and fairly steep for the service you actually Receive. read more

Giving it 3 stars only because Sunny was amazing with my acrylic set. Tiffany on the other hand was in a hurry since she started. I came in on the Friday before Mother's Day and decided to treat myself with a deluxe pedicure which includes "18 minute massage" well, she started the timer and then went off to get the hot wax and stones. Then put my feet in the hot wax. In total I maybe got about 8 minutes of actual massage. She also did not push the cuticle all the way back and pretended to push back on the pink toe (lol) just hovered over it. She rushed through the entire thing and it honestly wasn't relaxing because she was half assing the entire thing. Whole pedicure lasted a total of 25 minutes. As soon as she was done with me just immediately got up and raced over to the next client. I don't like their tipping system either. If it were up to me I would've tipped Sunny the majority and given Tiffany 5.00 just out of courtesy. read more

Went here yesterday for the first time and I'm pleased with my nails. I've been struggling with my local nail salon and after 4 times and at least one broken nail within 2 weeks every time and I was fed up. A coworker goes here so I decided to drive the 20 min to this salon. Took away one star because I scheduled an appt for nextgen and a pedi. Young started on my feet and after about 15 min I asked if someone was going to do my nextgen and she went and checked and said I'm going to do them, is that ok....are you in a hurry? I wasn't in a hurry so I told her it was fine. Almost 2 hours in the salon but Young addressed and fixed my broken nail issues and did a really nice job and made sure they looked good. I will def go back and have Young do my nails but hope next time I can have both services done at the same time and not have to be there that long. read more

But the last time I went here I was very displeased with the hour wait time (after having a confirmed appointment) and additional lack of care at all for my time or letting me know what was going on. Went and got a mani/pedi/brow wax. Due to COVID they're pretty much by appointment only. If you do walk-in they'll ask if you have an appointment and if you don't they'll put you down in the appointment book and ask you to come back at suggested time. They're trying to maintain social distancing as much as possible with customers. They're not doubling up on mani/pedis. So if you're getting both expect to be there a while.
