When I asked for them to be redone, the nail tech called me spoiled and tried to play it off in a joking tone, then fixed one nail because of how terribly uneven it was with the others. Jenny is a Rockstar! I've been frequenting Nail Lounge for years & typically take whomever is available for my pedicure. Today I had Jenny & I will forever request her! She was kind & polite, but her massage skills won me over. This was the BEST hot stone & leg massage I've ever had, EVER! The pressure & length were perfect - so relaxing! Their pedicure menu really had it all & you can always add on extras too. I've always had great pedicures here. The chairs are clean, the polish options are vast, the massage chairs are incredible & my pedicures always look great. Whether I bring my own polish or use theirs the polish lasts for weeks. I visited this salon yesterday, 9/20, for gel manicure and coconut gel pedicure. My manicure was ok. It wasn't amazing in regard to the polish job however, I'm still giving 5 stars because of Julie. Julie completed my pedicure service and is 10 stars all on her own. She was friendly, professional, and did a fantastic job. Not once did she rush me or make me feel like she had other clients waiting. She took her time, giving me full value for my purchase and repaired a nail I didn't even know was coming off! Today was my first visit, will never go back. very difficult time communicating that I wanted my nails cut shorter. Took multiple people and still didn't understand, so I gave up. While removing the gel from my toes, individual slipped with the tool and caught my nail and it lifted away from the skin. It was indicated that the last time I had a pedicure it happened and the last person must have glued it back down on my toe. My appointment was at 5 and started at 5. It is now 6:45 and I am just leaving. the chairs are the most uncomfortable chairs I have ever sat in. Price for service was pretty average. read more

The two young ladies at the front were courteous and professional. The ambiance was relaxing and aesthetics beautiful! Lisa did my dip and did not use drill on my natural nail prior to applying dip powder. What a great experience! I requested almond shape and like it! Lisa was kind and professional. Oh wow! This place is hugeeeee and clean!! Omg cleanliness is one of the things that I look for know a nail salon. DID NOT DISAPPOINT So I walked in on a random Monday thinking it wouldn't be busy and welp it sure was busy! I walked in and was shocked by how big it was! I signed in and asked how long the wait would be and they were so nice and accommodating. For as busy as that place was, my wait time was only 5-10 mins. I spent that time picking out a nail color anyways. My nail techs were Souky (I think that's her name) and Hannah and they were awesome! I have found my go to nail place in the DFW area! Not only did they do an awesome job, they were super informative and they didn't try to upscale or rip me off in any way. It was my first time doing powder ever and they were extremely knowledgeable. They taught me a lot about the difference between acrylic and powder, etc etc. Tip: do the nexgen aka dipping powder, it lasts a long time! The picture shown is three weeks after. So, I called and walked in they weren't busy, which was good. I told them I wanted the dip nails and a pedicure and they got started. I told I believe Vincent I wanted my nails long & he seemed very judgmental about it and told me it will be an extra $5 dollars first and I told him that's fine. Then shortly after I decided to get acrylic cause it's better with longer neils then he said that's an extra $10 dollars, I said alright even though I was upset, but my nails looks alright, but his customer service sucks! So now to my pedicure, that was a rush job seem like he only spent like 15-20 mins for a $50 dollar pedicure! this weekend is my sisters wedding and i made an appointment to get dip 2 days ago. i had a photo of what i wanted for inspiration which i showed to my nail tech Dan, he said it would be possible and took me back to the chairs and started on my nails. he tested 3 different combinations and got frustrated with me because he wasn't able to get the color that i wanted. he was very rude and dismissive and made me choose an entirely different color. after that he was very rushed and did a hack job on my nails, they are all different lengths/ shapes and he kept nicking me in my cuticles. the front desk and other nail techs were very friendly, but i will not be returning because of Dan read more

Rude Management The manager yelled at me because I mistakenly asked for a manicure instead of a nex gen (powder dip) service which is more time consuming than a manicure. She wagged her finger in my face and said next time you need to ask for the right service and you got lucky this time because we have someone to do it. I told the manager that it was linappropriate and unprofessional of her to point her finger at me and she responded by laughing and rolling her eyes. She did not take my feedback or concern seriously. I later called and asked to speak to the owner. The receptionist who answered the phone told me that the owner wanted the manager to handle the situation as the manager sees fit. I tried to call back again to speak to the owner personally but my call was blocked. I would not go back to this establishment because of the manager's lack of customer service skills. The lady and gentleman who did my nails were nice. The lady who did my eye brow wax was also very nice. Unfortunately, there is very poor management and no recourse for customers to voice complaints. From reading some of the other reviews, I can see I am not the only person treated poorly by management at this salon. If I could give less stars I would. Not only is the work poor at this salon, the level of professionalism is completely non existent. Let's start from the beginning: I started coming to this shop because a dear friend of mine RAVED about their service. I've been getting my nails done for years and decided I'd be the judge. My first visit was nice enough, the girls were nice. I got a gel manicure and gel pedicure. The VERY NEXT DAY my nail chipped. This became a trend. Every time I would go get my hands done, I would need a fix within a couple of days. Why did I keep going? Convenience of course. I've invited my family and business associates here and they encountered the same issue. Nails popping off and poor service. I was actively searching for a new salon and the decision to leave completely happened my last visit. I went with friends and family and had $126 in service. For the first time I paid in cash. In addition to the the $120 in cash I gave an additional $20 to my tech Hannah and told her they could keep the change. ($14) Now of course the very next week I come in for a nail fix...I proceeded to wait an hour before anyone even attempted to help me. Finally Hannah approaches me and tells me the reason no one will help me is because I DON'T TIP. LOL. First of all, coming from the service industry I know how important tips are. In addition, I'm thinking in my head: Why didn't Hannah shut this down because I always tip her and she took my tip last time? The thing is, I go 3x a month as a standard to get my nails and feet done AND I ALWAYS TIP. I go in for nail fixes AND I TIP. The audacity to be ignored for a tip...which by the way is OPTIONAL is the rudest thing I've ever encountered. I HAVE RECEIPTS THAT PROVE THIS. To make matters worse, their techs blamed my lack of tipping due to the alcohol they OVER SERVE their customers. That's right...Nail Lounge gets their customers drunk then sends them on their way in the streets. Do they have a liquor license to serve?? Does TABC know about this practice? Should someone alert them??? My biggest concern is what happens to cash tips when you leave them with the techs? How is this regulated?? Perhaps some in house revamping would help them track cash tips better? I started going to another nail shop and had them remove my nails from Nail Lounge Allen. The tech there asked me how long I had that set and I replied 2 weeks. He couldn't believe that due to how POOR the nails were done. All My nails under my tip had a lip that and caught all dirt and grime. (Tips were not put high enough to be even with my real nails). The nexgen was cracking in the middle of the nail( which means it wasn't thick enough). He asked where I went and when I told him Nail Lounge Allen, he said, "This isn't the first time I've heard this about them." He told me that the reason my nails kept breaking and chipping was NOT coincidence. He said that often salons instruct their techs to do subpar jobs so that people have to come back SOONER to get new service. (CONFIRMATION) Needless to say...this shop is in a high end area, with Harry Hines service. These people will NEVER get my money OR TIPS again. TO KIMMIE: I do not wish to reconcile this issue as I know you have no genuine interest in doing so. Don't put up a front to people viewing this review. I do not wish to engage with this business any further. What you can do is run a better business. read more
