They have a electronic sign in system and when I asked if I needed to sign in as a walk in he said "just sign" in, again not pleasant at all. Called my name and escorted me to a chair for my pedicure, quickly ask me to move again after I was seated and had taken off my shoes. He never explained that he had two people who wanted to sit with a family member. I want to be open and not say that what happened next was due to my race but the two newly seated people where then assign an employee who started serving them. Absolutely unacceptable. Do not give these people your business. On December 18th, I purchased a gift card from Lemon Drop Nail Bar as a Christmas gift for my wife--top-tier manicure and pedicure packages totaling around $130. The card sat untouched on her vanity until today, April 9th, when she decided to finally treat herself before leaving for a trip. To our complete shock, she was told there were only a few dollars left on the card. According to them, someone named "Morgan" used it on December 28th. My wife's name isn't Morgan. We don't know a Morgan. We've never met a Morgan. When she asked if they could check the security footage to confirm it wasn't her, they told her they only look at footage if there's a theft (spoiler alert: this is theft) and said they had "left a voicemail for Morgan." Whatever that was supposed to accomplish. My wife--calmly and respectfully--asked the person in charge to look into it. She was repeatedly told there was nothing they could do, and that the only way the money could have been spent was if the physical card was present. Well, I can say with 100% certainty, that card has been in the same spot since Christmas morning. Their response? "Sorry about your luck." I was already angry because a few weeks ago, they upsold multiple services to our 11-year-old daughter, without informing her GiGi (grandmother) that there would be additional costs. We let that slide. We shouldn't have. That should've been our warning. I've worked in customer service. I don't make a habit of leaving negative reviews. This is actually the first one I've ever written. But what happened here goes beyond bad service--it's theft, it's negligence, and it's disrespect. And to top it all off, it took me calling the salon and threatening to report them to the Melissa Police Department before the manager magically decided to resolve the issue. Why did it take that? Why did it take a man getting involved before the situation was taken seriously? Lemon Drop Nail Bar has shown complete disregard for accountability and basic decency. Not only was the money stolen, but the attitude from management was dismissive, unprofessional, and frankly, cowardly. This business does not respect women, does not care about its customers, and clearly has no standards for ethical conduct. I've been going here for 2 years and never had any complaints. All of sudden I go in and they have sold to someone else and the people that have been there are gone and the prices have changed without notification. The dip nails and pedicure I received was not up to par but I decided to give them a second chance and this is what I got the second time around! I paid a good amount of money for a builder gel fill on my natural nails with a French design. Unfortunately, just two days later my nails are chipping badly. For the price I paid, this is really disappointing. Because this has happened to me here more than once, I don't feel comfortable returning--even for a fix. Very disappointed! I've gone here since they opened, but tonight they completely ripped me off. I took my 7 year old in for a kids pedicure ($22). I told Tim, the manager, twice that I wanted a kids pedicure. However the technician did a deluxe; I didn't catch it until they started doing the wax and hot stones and it was too late to stop. I told the technician what I had requested. She then said she would do a little design for free. She offered gel on my 7 year olds toes and I said "no", but she went ahead and did it for free. When I went to the counter they said I had to pay $48 for a deluxe because she gave me all these "free" things. I told them I didn't want them, and they still charged me more than double for a $ year old's pedi. Will not be going back! read more

Jennifer was very sweet however the pedicure was not. She clipped my nails but didnt file them. After getting home, i realized how jagged and sharp they were. The massage was not great and she cut the.massage 2 minutes early to clean up since a lot of people had come in and were waiting. Not worth the $52 plus $10 tip. read more

They need to work on customer service and communication. I felt very rushed and technician had an attitude as well as the manager. The employees are talking amongst themselves and then laughing. I came for a pedicure and when the technician went to take off my polish she started to use the drill with a metal rigid attachment (not just the sandpaper one). I immediately told her that it was just regular polish and she did not need to use the drill. She told me it was okay because the glitter made it too hard to get the polish off. (I take my own glitter polish off at home all the time). I was skeptical and questioned her again, then the technician next to her tried explaining but she kept going. Once she was finished there were divots in all my toenails, one which was so deep it hurt and was red. My toenails were paper thin. The manager came over and apologized but went on to say she thought it was gel. I told him I told her more than once it wasn't. He said she couldn't understand me and at least I wasn't bleeding. Seriously!? I asked for her license and asked why they would have someone he could not understand their costumers working there or nonetheless get someone to help translate when the costumer is explaining something rather important. Went in on 12/23/24 to have a set of powder dip nails done. I've not had acrylic nails in over 15 years. The very next day the cuticle area of one finger became red, swollen, and angry. Within a few days, it was exuding pus. When my dermatologist saw it, he immediately prescribed a powerful topical medication. He said it appeared to be a fungal infection in the nail bed under the cuticle. He asked where I had my nails done recently and stated I should advise them of the problem I was having. It took nearly 12 weeks for the acrylic nail grow out far enough to come off. What I found underneath was a nail bed which was malformed and scarred. Luckily the nail wasn't completely destroyed. Helen did a terribly messy and lazy job of my pedicure. She seemed to be in a huge rush, and was doing the bare minimum to clean up my cuticles. While she was doing my massage (if you could even call it that) she was trying to clean up/multitask. It was hardly a relaxing experience. When I got home I noticed that the polish barely covered my full nails, and there was some on my skin. She was not thorough, and I didn't appreciate how she kept pushing me to upgrade to the deluxe pedicure. read more

I always go to Lemon Drop and love it!! They always so kind and do such a great job at my nails! Yesterday I went and Paul did my pedicure and he did amazing!! I work on my feet for hours so his massage was GREAT! My nail lady (idk her name) was good, did a good job! However, she was clearly in a rush! She cut me on 5 of my nails causing me to bleed on them. She just needs to slow down. I understand you're busy but you shouldn't be cutting 5 of my nails! First and last visit for me. From the time the lady started to the time she finished I felt like it was a race to just hurry up and get it over. In less than one minute she clipped toenails and so called filed them. No attempt to work on cuticles and leg scrub was smeared on and then immediately washed off. Leg "massage" was simply just running her hand up and down leg and did not include feet at all.I've never experienced a pedicure that no concern for detail to advertised service was given. If you're good for a quick in and out experience to get some nail polish applied, I guess this is your place. I was asked at check out how was the pedicure and told them it was worst pedicure I've ever had and gave a few examples why. My husband and I came here because it's closer to our house than our usual place. We went for his birthday. The lady that did my pedicure was sweet but the lady that started my husbands was TERRIBLE! Before she started she was trying to get us to upgrade the pedicure. We kindly declined and she was LIVID! I couldn't believe it! She started throwing her equipment and was being extremely rude! Every time she grabbed his foot she was so rough. It finally got so bad I had to request someone else. Once I did that she was even more angry and was yelling to the others in the shop (in their language) then shortly after all of the staff came from the back to stare at us. It was so awkward. One of them was even recording us. We talked to the manager and his response was well we switched the person. We informed him that they were good but we won't go back because it was not a good experience. He got mad and said we shouldn't refuse to go back just because of one person. He had no understanding of the situation. We will not be returning.worst experience . Do yourself a favor and drive a little further. read more

My daughter and I went to have our nails done today. We initially thought we wanted Gel X and it was written on our slip of paper. Before we started, we decided to do Builder Gel and our technicians changed supplies. After we finished I received Builder Gel and my daughter received only Gel Polish manicure. We watched both technicians Sophia and Steven fill out our slip for the Gel X manicure, that we did not receive, which was significantly more expensive. When we got to the counter, the receptionist realized the mistake and tried to have the manager help her. The manager yelled at her and wouldn't help her and kept walking past pointing at the computer. The young girl looked upset because she knew we were being over charged. She told us the Builder Gel should have been $50 instead of $70 and my daughter only got a Gel Manicure and was charged $90. The manager refused to help her or us. There many people in line after us so we payed and left. This was very deceptive on the technician's part and the managers part. Our bill was $185 and it should have been $100. Normally I would not have left and payed this but we were in a hurry and this poor receptionist was getting yelled out. I will never return to Lemon Drop Nail Bar. read more
