She runs a great business, provides excellent results, and is pleasant to talk to. The facility is clean, beverages are offered, and the facility is spacious and pretty. She remembers me from prior visits which makes me feel valued, as does the receptionist. The color selection is large, including new seasonal colors just added! My difficult nails simply look better and last longer than other places. I've had GelX, Acrylic, and Dip from Phoebe as well as pedicures from the other techs, and love it all every time. The massage chairs are comfortable and relaxing. A nail tech and pedicure tech will work on both at the same time to allow me to get in & out of there quicker. This seems to be a Texas practice, it was new to me when I moved here and I do like it to help manage my busy working mom schedule. When I have the time, I may reserve my nails separate from my pedi to be able to fully enjoy the massage chair as needed to turn it off during any detailed nail work. My first summer with Phoebe included many different colors and designs on my nails. She never disappointed and always checked to make sure I liked it! My 4th of July nails were my absolute favorite with blue & red nails and a few well placed stars. Phoebe also did marbling for me one time, and I was truly amazed at her artistry. So beautiful. The area is growing rapidly, so recommend making an appointment, but walk ins are welcome. I REALLY appreciate that I can text to schedule an appointment as it is hard to make calls during the day. Also, Bliss offers a cash discount!!! Thank you!! My understanding is Phoebe purchased this business a couple? few? years ago, with significant previous experience. That lady left me in so much pain and it was a terrible experience. So I switched locations and went here instead. So grateful that I got Camila for my waxing. She was thorough and quick and it was nowhere even close to the amount of pain that I experienced last month. If you're concerned about the pain, I highly recommend you see her. I understand consistency will help with pain levels but I imagine I would not have been in as much pain if I would have seen Camila the first time. Her entire process was completely different.

I'm always nervous to try new hair places with my hair being extremely important to me. I get my hair bleached and it hasn't always gone well so I am always hesitant. From first visit, the staff was knowledgeable, helpful, and supportive. You get a small town luxury feel where it is more than just getting your hair done. Everyone really does care. Mary Ann is my main hair stylist, but you can not go wrong with anyone there. My hair is the best it's ever been and I get compliments all of the time on how great the color is and how healthy it is. To the few bad reviews on here I've read about expectations and pricing I would like to note that quality costs money. Awards recognizing excellence are awesome and preferred. 1 Star -- Repeated Poor Workmanship, Unacceptable Customer Service, and Failure to Properly Correct…read moreMistakes After being a loyal customer of Villa Nail Bar and spending hundreds of dollars on nail services every two weeks, I am officially DONE with this salon. Over the past three to four months, I have returned at least TEN times to have problems corrected. My nail technician, Peter, is a nice person, but his work is consistently sloppy and lacks attention to detail. I have repeatedly experienced chipping, cracking, and lifting of the gel polish. Other technicians have had to correct his work, yet management continues to assign me to him despite my complaints. At my most recent appointment, Peter removed nearly all the existing builder gel and reapplied the product. He did not even trim my nails to my usual length. Less than 24 hours later, the gel polish was already cracking and chipping. This is unacceptable for a professional nail service. Today, October 24, I returned to have the defective work corrected. I arrived shortly after 11 a.m. and left at 12:26 p.m. Initially, I was told no one was available, despite the salon appearing relatively empty. I was then told I would have to pay $10 per nail because management insisted my previous service was a refill rather than a new set. I repeatedly explained what Peter had actually done, but instead of listening, staff continued arguing with me. The problem wasn't even the builder gel underneath. It was the colored gel polish that had failed within 24 hours! When another technician finally attempted to correct my two thumbs, she filed down the existing builder gel and simply applied new gel polish without restoring the builder-gel structure. When I pointed out that this was not a proper repair, my concerns were not adequately addressed. I was eventually told there would be no charge, but not charging me for an incomplete repair is not good customer service. This salon has also repeatedly wasted my time. At my previous appointment, I waited more than 30 minutes before my technician even started. Even when calling ahead for corrections, I have been told no one is available or made to wait an unreasonable amount of time. I have been extremely patient and have given this business more than enough opportunities to correct these ongoing problems. Customers should not have to return ten times in a few months, repeatedly explain the same issues, or argue with management to receive the services they already paid for. I am not returning to Villa Nail Bar. I would rather take my business elsewhere than continue paying premium prices for inconsistent workmanship, wasted time, and dismissive customer service.

Wow, dry brushing and the salt scrub was PAINFUL. At one point I thought to myself, why am I paying someone to torture me? LOL The dry brushing felt like someone scraping my skin with a course brush only to be followed by being rubbed with sandpaper (the salt scrub). After the fact when I felt my skin, I was amazed. My skin felt soft as a babies butt! I am not exaggerating, I have never felt my skin be so smooth. Will I do it again? Probably not- it's just not worth the pain or the high price. The massage was epic. Rose gave me one of the best massages of my life. She is so in tune to your body, your energy and that gives her insight on how to help loosen your muscles and get to the root of your pain. I have had deep myofascial work done over the past year, and I was super impressed that when I told her what areas were bothering me, she addressed other parts of my body that contributed to the pain. Most massage therapists dont have the training to know this and will treat the symptom (where it hurts) but wont treat the source which is usually another area of the body that isnt tender or in pain. She knows her stuff and is a pro! She is so good I am looking to have a massage by her again next month if my schedule allows. Every bit of tension, every knot was worked out by her.
