My daughter and I came in for manicures and a gel pedi for her. Her pedicure was alright but very quick - however her manicure is a mess. They left dust and excess clear coat all over her fingers and the gel polish is very streaky and different shades, it looks like they did two different colors but did not. She filed them after she painted them so the tips are all white and weird now. They look splotchy. Not worth the price and even after I asked her to fix it she didn't. This is what we left with - they thought this was a good "final" gel mani. And I sat there waiting for my turn and about 15 min before they closed (my daughter was almost done) a man asked if I was ready for my gel mani. I told him nevermind. We won't be back here even though it's right down the road from our new apt. read more

Most recently I moved to Melissa and previously had my favorite nail tech and nail shop in Dallas & Allen. This day I didn't want to drive the the distance and I am so happy that I didn't. I went on a rainy day this past Sunday, and it was still very steady. They welcomed me and asked what service I needed and they guided me to a massage chair, they asked if I wanted wine to drink and of course I agreed. Jimmy was my technician and completed my pedicure and he was PHENOMENAL, he spoke, asked me questions, and completed my nexgen to my high standards. He talked me through it and made sure my massage was okay. He definitely wanted to serve and I noticed. Another piece of information was, he made sure that all of the lines on my French pedicure were PERFECT! My nail technician was another gentlemen whose name just slipped my mind, but he was amazing too! I paid a few more dollars for a hand massage and it was just great! He made sure all of my nails were the perfect length, he made sure my cuticles looked great, and he also made sure that I was pleased! Overall: Amazing Service and Great Quality. I'm so happy with my nails and toes! All smiles here! The atmosphere/ambiance was relaxing too! Update: The gentlemen's name is Brian who did my amazing nails. I'm here today because one of my toe gel polish smudged, (which it should stay on longer). No other toes have messed up, so I'm assuming it's my fault. Trying a new nail place. Not impressed and I just sat down. Not to welcoming or enthusiastic about me being here. He just accused me of "playing on my phone" all the while he is watching/pausing and resuming my pedicure while focusing on the World Cup on the TV above my head. Seriously? I didn't even let him paint my toe nails nor did I drink my wine. Now you know how bad it is when I don't finish a glass of wine. Paid the people and left. Have visited this nail spa a few times but after this very last visit I won't go back. Way over priced, nail colors have been cut way down from what they used to be and quality of polishes is not great. My daughter's nail polish came off the first day and now after a few days none of her nails have polish. My dip powder nails could have been done better - a few nails already look like they are starting to peel off and if you look close, the dip powder doesn't even cover my entire nail. Little things that add up make overall experience mediocre at best. Price tag way too high for job done. read more

Wish I could leave a better review but my nails are all messed up and I just got them done less than 12 hours ago. The salon is clean and staff is extremely friendly. They don't have Essie polish which is a negative for me, but I went with China glaze. I really liked the color but my hands and feet are both messed up and I dried them for over 30 min and more when I got home. I'm from out of town and left today so there's no way for me to go back and get them fixed so it's money down the drain.
