I have been a customer at this salon for years. The staff is friendly and I have always had great service!

I happen to be in the area, searched on Yelp nail salons and this came up. I drove up on a Sunday at 5 PM. Yelp showed that it closed at six, but when I pulled up, it looked closed, but I called and they answered and told me to come in. Lo and behold, I open the door and the place was packed and poppin. It's just amazing, how outside looks can be deceiving. Very friendly and attentive from the moment I walked in. I chose to get dip and I was seated within maybe less than 10 minutes of being there. Linh worked on my nails. She was very friendly, she worked fast but precise. As someone who doesn't really like sitting at the Nail Salon, I appreciated this. I was asked if I wanted a drink twice and again I appreciated that I wasn't overlooked . Many times I go into salons and the person to the left is ass and the person to the right, but not me and it can really make you feel a certain type of way. I also chose to get my cuticles cut and that was only $6 and yes, I did it. A lot of other salons want to charge $10 or more and I think that's ridiculous. When I'm in the area, I will definitely go back to this Nail Salon. PS there were four girls in the front, they greeted you, asked you if you wanted a drink, tidied up they were noticeably a great addition to this Nail Salon. read more

I went in for a simple acrylic refill and my nails were barely even grown out. I still ended up paying $57 because Ryan added a clear gel polish on top, which was never properly explained beforehand. What made the experience even worse was when I went back to question the price, the young adult girl with dark hair tried accusing me of lying and claimed she watched Ryan paint white polish on my nails when he didn't. Instead of listening to my concern, I felt dismissed and disrespected. I honestly feel like I could go somewhere else and get an entirely new full set done for the same $57 I paid for just a refill. I've been here a handful of times for dip nails, gel toes, and eyebrow wax. It's Valentine's Day and I asked for a clean up. She quite literally took off more than half my eyebrow. I met my MIL at Venezia yesterday 7/28/25 to get a pedicure! My nail techs name was Holly and she was the sweetest! She fit me right into her schedule and I couldn't pick tell right off the bat that I was going to enjoy my service! I called this morning (7/29/25) to see if Holly was available and she was so I went back in after breaking a nail done at a different nail salon a couple of weeks ago. She was efficient, friendly, and very gentle! Everyone in the nail salon is super friendly and helpful! I already booked my next appointment and y'all should as well! 10/10 would recommend this salon, especially if you get a service done by Holly! read more

Came in to get a nail fixed while on a trip. Was a little hesitant when I came in and saw how busy they were... however, they not only gave excellent and prompt service but the lady matched my color even better than what I had originally picked out! I've been going here for 4plus years now. Only twice did I try two other options in Prosper and both were a huge disappointment mostly because the employees were less than welcoming. So back to Venezia I went and have stayed because they give excellent customer service and my nails always look great. Side note: one time my gel nails peeled off of every nail in less than a week. My sister and I enjoyed our pedicures at Venezia. Service is always good and everyone knows their role. They always offer something to drink. We had prosecco which made for a fun experience. **MOST EXPENSIVE AND STILL THE CHEAPEST QUALITY NAILS*** So I want to start out and say I never leave reviews on nail salons. BUT- This is kind of ridiculous. I first came into get acrylic nails and when the man was doing them he was cutting my actual skin and nails. The man put on too small of tips and continued to do so. I mentioned they were hurting and still he continued to do his job and not seem to care. I asked him if he was okay because he was huffing and puffing like he was irritated at me for the simplest things. Then without my knowledge got charged for both tip and shape of my nail. They weren't even long so it came to me as a shock that instead of just getting a single charge I had two. Then if you want a design its $24 and $26 for french. They were nice and let me do both and have my nails for $88. Which is nice, but I would never pay $110 for nails. I only chose to come here because i got a gift card for my birthday. I've had my nails for a week now and have already broken two. You can tell by the shape of them they are simply too small for my nails. They look like press ons and the nails with barely any pressure snapped off. I hate that I paid money for these nails. Go to Polished Nail Bar in frisco instead! I have come here a lot over the years and I will say I came today and the girls at the front are extremely unprofessional and come across pretty rude. my experience here has always been great, lovely customer service but what I saw today was extremely distasteful. the girl at the girl asked what service we wanted when it was 6pm and hour before close. we told her and she responded very passive aggressive while the other girls were more kind but still really dry. another mom and daughter came in at 6:30 and the girls were talking to their friend that was just leaving upset that someone was coming in 30 minutes before closing. then the friends mom said " what time do yall close. hmm 30 minutes" and made a face. which is so rude. being that I work in the hospitality industry seeing service like this really disturbs me because these young girls have no idea the persons day who just walked in. it's your job to give the same amount of service until closing. if these girls do not like that remove them before they continue to water down the amazing hospitality this place used to have. read more

However, I walked out of this salon with 2 different shades of blue-light blue(gel) and dark blue (regular). The price I paid here, I could have received a full gel mani/pedi elsewhere. I was offered a $21 up charge to have a gel pedi and $12 gel polish removal fee. Probably won't return to this salon. read more

I've tried several times to "like & be understanding" with this Nail Salon, but for what they Charge for a "Fill, Fix 2 broken Nail's, Length, Shape, then Ombré" GEEEZZZZ....they nickel & dime & their work doesn't even last as long as it should!! $55.00 for a Fill is ABSURD when a "New Set" was $58.00 and that's not including the Tip.... My nail's have lifted prematurely 2 times now before I was ever due to go in for a Fill. Mind you my nails were rushed & are not even straight..... 2nd, I've paid over $85.00+ Tip twice now for a pedicure w/Gel Polish & the Gel Polish doesn't even last to 2 weeks.....and you can tell the Gel Polish has been diluted especially by how it's not staying on as long as it should and it's chipping. It's been a long time since I've treated myself to some personal care. I came to the nail salon expecting a regular experience, but that's not what happened. I was greeted with a warm welcome and offered a refreshment. I made an appointment, so I was promptly assigned to the manicurist. She was friendly, and gave me the best massage my feet have had in a long time. I almost went to sleep;) My hands were given the same service by a different person. I felt like I was being treated like a special client. I noticed the owner, walking around making sure everyone was alright. This was a wonderful experience. The worst nail experience I have ever had. I have been getting nexgen put on and taken off for 7 years. At several different salons and this has NEVER happened before. I'm so disappointed. I'm not one to really leave Yelp reviews, but she almost permanently ruined my nails. I got nexgen - which was a great experience. Not what I'm writing about, but is an important detail to the story. Flash forward 3 ish weeks - this is where the horror story starts. It was time to get my grown out nails redone. I got the nexgen taken off and regular nail polish put on. The regular nail polish lasted 3 days, which was expected. I then realized not all of the nexgen had been taken off. I went back to Venezia about a week after getting my nails repainted and told them the nexgen wasn't completely taken off. A middle aged women (who seemed like a manager rather than a nail artist - she was very professionally dressed, ran the front, etc) removed my nexgen, as well as, many layers of my real nails/cuticles. It was so painful afterwards. She was so careless and rushed through the whole process. She realized she cut my cuticles and chuckled "oh! I guess I cut your cuticles". My nails were so drilled down that it hurt to wash my hair. I will never, ever go here again. read more

I got french gel on my toes, very aggressive, cut my feet up tremendously, did not listen to any request I had, cut my nails WAY too short almost painful to walk. was not listening to any part of me saying ow that hurts! got ACRYLIC FRENCH on my hands, again. did not listen. started applying nex-gen and got very aggravated and aggressive for the rest of the appointment AFTER looking at the paper that very clearly says ACRYLIC( I even called to make sure I was put with someone who knew how to properly do acrylic) once the acrylic went on it looks honestly like shit I think this is the worst manicure I've ever had. did not listen to a single ow! that hurts! cut my hands up, kept shaking my hands aggressive because they were not lose enough for him to slice my cuticles up. complained about me wanting a slimmer French tip complained about the length and just overall awful experience. if you plan to get any sort of French or acrylic here I highly recommend you don't. there's a reason it has 3 stars. even when showing unhappiness at the front was still told to pay full price and tip. ridiculous worst place I've ever gone. read more

I showed up shortly before closing and they were able to accommodate me. I am quite picky and detail oriented but the nail tech did a great job! The shape (squared), the dip and buffing (not too thick, and not too thin) all met my standards. She even turned my hand face up to ensure each nail was filed properly and even. Being one of the last few customers, I didn't feel rushed and overall was extremely happy with the turnout. With my teacher discount I was able to get out at a reasonable price but if you start doing French or ombré, the bill can definitely run up on you! read more

This was my first experience at Venezia. I called to book an appointment after I had a nail break and my usual salon was closed. The front desk girls were super sweet and helpful. She informed me that they would have availability at 6:15. I made it to the salon at 6 picked out my color and was seated on time. After being seated one tech started on my pedicure. After about 30min I asked about my nails because they still needed to be soaked off. Another tech finally came to start my nails at 7:15. (An hour later) she then tells me I'll repair and fill your nails because I don't have time for a full set. I had requested dip but my previous set was acrylic so she went back in with acrylic but did a poor job. The front desk did provide me with a 10% discount for the inconvenience which I appreciated. We'll it's exactly 1 week later and 5 nails have broken off at the tips and I have a few paint chips as well. Although it wasn't a terrible experience for the price, I expected to get at least 2 weeks out of them before getting a new set. read more

I thought the young ladies that greeted us upon entering and the cashiers were very pleasant and professional. The young lady that worked on my nails, Sedan, performed great work but not very friendly, which I honestly don't mind as long as you perform quality work and you're not going out of your way to be rude. However, my pedicure performed by Lisa was mediocre and the toenail polishing was like an amateur and sloppy. She did try to correct it but it still wasn't very neat after I went into the sunlight and noticed how sloppy it looked. Other than that, I gave the place a 3 because I don't want to say the whole experience was negative because it wasn't. I am not sure if I'll return. UPDATE: Polish did not even last on my toes for a full week. It started chipping. I have never had this happen. Will not return. Waste of money. read more

Just moved to prosper and gave this place a try. It's a very large and busy salon. I requested nextgen with tips and two pedicures. I showed the tech how I wanted them shaped and she told me it would be extra for coffin- I agreed. I usually get gel pedicures but this place charges an extra $21 for gel polish that is absurd! Be prepared to get nickel and dimed for every little thing here. I have no issues with my nails, they are fine but they aren't coffin.. they're square. My pedicure is another story.. sloppy with paint all over my skin. The older lady who did them was pretty rude too. I'm only adding an extra star because the front desk girls were sweet and helpful! There's too many nail salons around with better skilled techs to overpay for mediocre work here. We will never be back. read more

This place was AMAZING! My nieces and I went in on a very busy Friday and they got us right in. The entire staff was so friendly and accommodating. They asked us what we would like to drink and we had mimosas and wine and they serve them in an actual wine glass instead of plastic cups like most nail salons. I will NEVER return to Venezia Nail Salon EVER again!! Poor time/appointment management - they run around like chickens with their heads cut off. Appointments mean NOTHING. They lack efficient communication between hostess and technicians leading to services not being fulfilled even if you do have an appointment. Unskilled technicians-They HACKED my toe nails on a literal diagonal. I'm thoroughly embarrassed. I'm now having to spend more to somehow get them fixed. I'm hoping someone is able to fix them for me before my event this week. This isn't the first time they screwed up on my toes. Once they filed so hard removing the gel that they made my toenail so thin I was in pain. I hadn't returned in a very long time and decided to give it another shot. WORST MISTAKE EVER. Poor customer service- they couldn't CARE LESS about customer satisfaction. They only have one thing in mind, that they get their pockets filled. First of all, been there done that after my last bad experience no one wants to return to pay more money and have your nails look like trash.
